1  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGWatcher 1.3.5, a GUI/monitor for CGMiner & BFGMiner to help minimize downtime on: March 03, 2014, 11:43:29 PM
Trying to get CGwatcher to start mining when my PC is idle & stop as soon as I start using my PC.

I have scheduler set to start mining when my PC is idle for 5min, which is working perfectly. The problem is immediatly after it starts mining the scheduled action to stop mining when my PC is not idle kicks in & shuts it back off... I can't see this being intended, as the entire command to stop mining when not idle would be pointless if mining counted as not being idle... it literally creates an endless loop of starting & stopping.

Anyone got any advice or something I'm missing here? I thought maybe something was keeping my PC from being idle, but that can't be it, or it wouldn't start mining to begin with...

Edit: Apparently it was something I missed... The stop action determines idle based on the same field used by "set intensity when idle," which was still set for 30min. This caused the PC to be idle for my start action before it was idle for my stop action.

I'll just leave this here in case anyone else has trouble with this...
