Whats the progress on the Polo deposits, if any?

As i wrote before i got only it from polo:

>> It's working.

I sent few messages on last week and on this week.
Waiting for result.

I checked, my transaction was on polo but without confirmations.
I sent instruction how try to fix it.

What a joke. One side is in full skullduggery mode. Which is it? Why is it such an issue when other exchanges have it working fine? I have about 800k xcr locked up there (lost?). I wonder how many others and how much xcr is locked up there. Were bouncing back and forth with this blame game nonsense. My guess is polo screwed their wallet and the funds are gone. This has literally been going on for MONTHS! I suggest everyone who has xcr locked up at polo post in here stating so, to get the start of a head count. Then organize to barrage their support with demands to fix the issue (or fess up or do whatever it is they need to do to make it right). This is unacceptable.

What i can do? If they didn't sent me answer from last friday?
I sent all what i can to polo. Other exchanges usually works good, yes.
But this is stupid situation with polo.

What you can do Boris is to do everything within your power to fix this with Polo. You have contact with their developer so someone is doing something wrong. Stop keep pointing at each other and try to get it up and running as soon as possible!

Boris has been working with Polo since the last post where they claimed we were the problem I believe 2 weeks ago maybe now. He has tried to get in touch with their Dev on several occasions but their Dev was not available over the last couple days. Boris provided them direct assistance and custom versions to try and get logs from the Dev. I have no idea what the problem is or why it is such a complicated fix.

Just keep in mind that BTER had the new version up to date in about 5 minutes with no issues whatsoever and has been up and working since. So to say that our network is the problem, to me, seems unlikely as we have users transferring money as well as another exchange transferring funds with no issue interfacing with our network.

I don't know their setup personally and we have witnessed from Wulfs comments that he was having trouble sending with his Windows wallet (I believe?). It could be an isolated strange issue or maybe they are using some kind of unique configuration with a windows wallet that is causing a similar issue to Wulfs. I really can't say.

I wouldn't be quick to lay blame on either of us as it is probably a problem with the unique configuration of their network and site and how it interfaces with our setup that just has some kind of kink in communicating.

TL;DR Boris has been in contact with them whenever they have been available and he has been trying to help them.

Hi Grexx, thanks for the update! This was the latest response a couple of days ago from Poloniex regarding the ticket about XCR I've opened at their site:
I've been waiting on Boris for several days now. He is supposed to send me a special version of XCR with increased logging features. He recently contacted me apologizing for the delay, saying it was due to sickness.

As far as I can see, people are pointing at each other without a real solution...

Answer from Polo on XCR:
Boris provided a custom version, but did not tell me what to do with it. He wants to connect on IRC -- I tell him when I am available, and he never seems to be around. We're in very different timezones. I think we should be emailing because of this, but he said we should do IRC instead. Neither of us know what the issue is right now. At the very least, XCR is not reporting errors correctly, as it claims transactions are being sent but they never make it to the block chain.

Grexx/Boris?

I'm in IRC all my working time. Sometimes i checked #poloniex channel, but i have not seen busoni.

Last what i got from polo dev, it was today night for me:

>> We don't seem to be connecting on IRC.

Today i sent version again with instruction what need to do.
Previous problems with polo, looks like there was problem with their firewall, but i'm not sure.

So basically this issue is deadlocked and no one is doing shit about it so we should kiss our XCR goodbye. Raw deal.

I'm still in contact with polo, wait for news. If IRC not works for this guys, i sent offer to work via Skype.
Maybe after this instruction/version we will see what happening on their servers with Crypti.

Anyway, It's possible to just send money back to senders, just use another node.

Hi Boris,

Can you tell me (us) in conrete steps how to get my funds out of Polo at this moment?

Kind regards.
M.

I'm in contact with polo, yesterday we got first results. I sent fix, working on it. Once all finished i will notify all.

From good news. We finally hired new developer. Starting work on new MVP.

Hi Boris,

Couple of days further... is Polo fixed/functional again in the meanwhile?
What is the status?

M.

Grexx,

Do you know if Boris had contact with Poloniex since this latest reaction a week ago from Poloniex?

""
That is completely untrue. All communication with the devs has been started by us, and we have tried multiple times to fix the wallet with Boris. We are updated to the latest version -- that was never the problem. He has been unable to figure out the problem with us so far, and tends to have to leave before it gets figured out.

I've returned your XCR to your account in case you want to try to sell it. I will continue to work with Boris to get the wallet working again.

Hi All,

This is what Poloniex support answered me regarding the not working XCR environment over there:

"
Unfortunately there is a problem on the XCP wallet, we have contacted the coin developer and he will provide a fix, util then I am afraid you wont be able to move your coins.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
"

When will this happen?

Kind regards.
M.

Did you ask them what XCP (CounterParty) has to do with XCR (Crypti) ?  Grin

Yes I did in a second message, in a response he said he meant XCR.
Like Grexx said, the ball is at their site, so I will contact them again...

Update:
I've had contact with Poloniex again, this was the reply (I've forwarded Grexx's part)...
"
Are you certain that the person you spoke to was an actual coin developer? We have our contacts on XCR and will try to communicate with them again.
Johnny Garcia
"

Second update:
I've received another mail right after the first one containing:
"
That is completely untrue. All communication with the devs has been started by us, and we have tried multiple times to fix the wallet with Boris. "

So I guess you are not well informed Grexx regarding this issue...
Boris, any news on this issue?

Dear,

I've tried to transfer my XCR from Poloniex to Bter, however, it's pending for a couple of days.
Does this have anything to do with Poloniex (and Cryptsy as well) not being up to date with the latest XCR client?
If so, when will I be able to make this sort of transactions?

Kind regards.
Menno

I'm afraid poloniex and cryptsy kinda gave up on Crypti after the network halt. i dont even blame them for it tbh, volume there was nonexistant.
Volume is highest on BTER, and even there the average is only like 1 BTC per day. less than that is just not profitable to host & maintain for an exchange.
they way they handle it is bad though, they should just delist it if they dont want to go though the hassle of setting up the wallet with their systems.

Thanks for the reply, but how do I get my funds out of there (50.000XCR). Any idea?

why the coin is going down..soon will equal the price I bought it for in the IPO

The value of XCR is the same, but the trade price is falling because until the devs release more features, XCR is just another coin to trade for other coins.

You know, the IPO was all about getting BTC to fund the further development of XCR?  The devs have received some of the escrowed funds, and are now filling positions for designer, program writer, etc.  If you read the last 30 posts here, you would see that.

The price of XCR will go up again as soon as the windows wallet is released.  Check the roadmap for future features:  http://blog.crypti.me/crypti-development-roadmap/

As more features are included in XCR, the value and thus the price will go up.

Right now XCR is a newborn baby.  Of what use is a new born baby?  NONE.... but with care and feeding, potentially you have another Einstein, or Steve Jobs, or lady GAGA

+1 Litoshi, can't wait for the Windows Wallet, will it be available in let's say the next two weeks?

this looks awesome hope I can get in at a good price

The current price is low so yes you can, Crypti is just a few days old and will become huge somewhere in the next few months when the masses starting to notice and features like custom blockchains become available. PoT is a great feature as well!

I only see 350.1BTC transferred to the Xapo vault address:  https://blockchain.info/address/1KwpHHKKx1278LYDeqannK8mpngvSok59x

Pre-sale funds should be 750BTC.

This was intentional. In light of recent events, we decided it would be safest to split the funds between 2 different wallets. We were going to use Circle as they have insurance but unfortunately they couldn't accommodate our request in a timely manner so we are deciding on a second solution. We will keep you updated.

you have already getting your 750 btc huh?? huu?? u havent deliver product yet even............. wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffff  Angry Angry Angry

For starters, please control yourself in this thread. I understand the emotions but this kind of comment will not be tolerated. Everyone is frustrated, including us, but these outbursts (this includes your post prior to the one quoted) will not be allowed and you are ruining any positive reputation you might gain in this community.

Second, please read the updates prior to posting. The funds are all co-signed with SyRenity and BTER holding authority. The funds will require both parties to approve any withdrawal. This was done so that we could see our money was still taken care of so that we all had the piece of mind knowing that BTER still had out funds (in light of recent events).

As far as the launch date, we have posted numerous updates stating exactly what is happening with the pushback. We cannot give a date as it is reliant on BTER and they cannot give us an exact date. The wallet, nodes, and tech have been ready to go since last week. As soon as we have something official from BTER stating that the implementation is complete and everything looks good, we will give a 6 hour notice prior to officially initiating withdraw capability and launching the nodes.

+1

I want to know if Bter released 15M XCR to the crypti team already and if they still have all of them. Can you post proof? Smiley

The launch team XCR's are already encoded in the genesis block on the address 15292791051968645847C (will be visible on mainnet both via API and on the upcoming Crypti explorer).

This address will remain visible at all times (same as Foundation BTC funds), so the community could monitor it and be assured the XCR's are delivered to the team as per the vesting schedule.

We will publish these addresses again after the launch in a separate blog post.

Exciting times ahead for XCR, thanks for the updates SyRenity! keep up the good work.

Ladies and gentlemen, the baseline PoW subsidy reward of .01 has now been reached. CGB is now officially at a maximum inflationary rate of 2% with just over 950,000 bullion in circulation. Time again for CGB to trail-blaze through uncharted territory. This will be fun!

Quote
CGB was one of the first PoS coins, one of the first to implement the accelerated subsidy halving, one of the first to move to PoS as a higher payout than PoW. All coins (even Bitcoin) will at some point in their life cycle come to a cross road where they have to either move away from appeasing miners or change their code and word to their earlier adopters. We are just a trend setter here again. CGB has, and in my opinion should continue to logically envision the path ahead and move proactively rather than in a reactionary manner.

Wow this is great news I didn't really pay attention. Time really is on our side and patience is a gem. Congratulations!
CGB still a bargain on the market. Tick tock goes the clock.  Cheesy

Indeed great news! exciting times for CGB!
