1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [question] Is it possible to use Lighting Network to transfer USDT on: April 03, 2019, 06:47:07 AM
No, it's not. Omnicore uses bitcoin core 0.13 and lightning benefits from enabling segwit. Also Tether is just an OP_Return, which is totally ommited while using any lightning implementation.

Got it. Thanks.

3  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / [question] Is it possible to use Lighting Network to transfer USDT on: March 27, 2019, 09:38:34 AM

5  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: 5 Popular Wallets to Experience Bitcoin Lighting Network on: March 25, 2019, 04:34:50 AM
In my point of view, those wallets you mentioned are functional but far away from mature. And it seems the LN network capacity are dropping in recent days. One thing i agree with you, it is still a very long way to go for Lighting Networks.
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: For which exchanges is KYC required? on: March 15, 2019, 08:19:39 AM
a lot of exchange allow you to withdraw small amount without KYC. But it is hard to find one for large amount.

Some decentralized exchange requires no KYC but liquidity is a problem.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Number of full nodes since 2015 on: March 14, 2019, 07:26:02 AM
A fact is BFC mining machine (also known as Baofeng in China) started to ship on Jan.2018. They sold about 30,000 mining machine, each has 4T hard-drive.

BFC is a distributed system provide CDN and blockchain full node services(They helped a lot of blockchain team such as Qtum to extend full node numbers). Bitcoin full node is also one of their service - a free service to bitcoin community.

There should be some bitcoin nodes on their distributed network .
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: wallet securing !! on: March 14, 2019, 03:21:14 AM
For hotwallet, choose wallet with good reputation and history. For large amount cyprto asset, use hardware wallet. Open source are better but not necessary.

Never use a new wallet with less than 2 year operation history, let other people do the testing for you:)
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Save your crypto, Disable WPS! on: March 14, 2019, 03:07:21 AM
Your warning is right , WPS is not safe, but i don't see much connection between WPS and crypto. Even if someone connect to your wifi, your crypto are still safe , right? Hacker still need to hack the cellphone to stole from a hot wallet.
