If I see you are banned, really object to certain reasons, according to you?
Maybe, the @steve_rogers account, is forbidden because it avoids prohibitions, this is my opinion, maybe.
I see the account name of your account exactly,
Maybe Admin sees this account as one person, because you don't tag, this is my thinking.

I have nothing in common with those 3 accounts.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal on: March 24, 2019, 02:53:36 PM
This is a unique case so I took some time to look into it.

It would appear that the "merit abuse" part has to do with these 4 accounts:

steve_rogers (banned)
timoshani
nastyabor (banned)
dimplit (banned)

sending a total of 10 merit to this account:

AsrRustam (banned)

Here is what the sent merit network looks like:

Its impossible for me to tell whether the posts you merited were of any value because they are all deleted.
I know merits are for the most part subjective, so you will need explicit comment from theymos or else whoever did the banning in order to know more.

Okay, finally smth that could be very hardly called merit abusing, but still it's noting. Nevertheless thanks for your job.

Okay, as expected - nothing.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal on: March 17, 2019, 01:33:11 PM
Screenshots aren't 100% proof but they are a lot better than just quoting the message. If you can include a screenshot of the email, with the subject title / to and from email addresses, it might help your case (emphasis on might).

That's why I wrote that I can grab a video, but admins do know that it is legit.
And as I have a newbie account I can not attach photos (as far as I know).

Can a moderator who would know, confirm if the message quoted in the OP is real?

Theymos explicitly said that merit would not be moderated, but the above seems to contradict that.

It is 100% real, I can provide screenshot/video/whatever.

Still waiting for explanation about my merit abusing from admins. Thak you

Do we also need to repeat the same thing every time? You will not get unbanned. How difficult is that to understand? Lock the topic already.

Who are you to state it?

Someone who is actually literate enough to clearly understand the rules.

More looks like someone who needs to study how to mind his own business .

Who are you to state it?

He's right. You will get similar responses from the rest because rules are rules.

Remember if theymos or some staff sees this topic, it's going to be another ban.

Banning this account literally means nothing.

Guys, frankly, I can not get, why most of you are repeating the same. I need exactly what I stated in the first message, neither less nor more.
Thank you all for the attention.

According to BPIP your account was banned nearly 4 months ago. Why didn't you appeal back then? There are also no email or password change records.

This is me being rather speculative, but it seems that you have tried to take advantage of the new procedure of recovering hacked accounts while linking your ban with a potential hacked email. I'm pretty sure every guy banned between October and December last year knows why he was banned, given the countless ban appeal threads started back then.

Because I've been appealing via email that was in the "ban message" couple of monthes, than when I got back my mail, I have started appealing from the same mail, than admins from russian local advised me to appeal here in meta. That's all the story.

Concerning advantage of new procedure, I did not know that it is new or that is even an advantage, I am honestly were hacked (at least my mail), in case of need I can prove it also.

Guys, it is not a hero or a legendary account, there is no reason to be so hostil. I can easily get a new "member account" that is not so hard to earn 10 merits, but I value my nickname, relations with other members, age and so on...
11  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal on: March 11, 2019, 05:36:25 PM
It looks like double standarts. There a thousands of bots that posting nothing, but airdrop-bounty reports, and pumping merits with no ban and so on.

Sure. There are probably other bots that are committing plagiarism that are currently not banned, but is it really a valid reason to not ban you just because some are yet to be caught? I don't think so. Also, while posting solely on bounty threads is definitely frowned upon here on bitcointalk, it's not entirely illegal.

No, my point was that I have passed the way from begginer hunter to community member that value his account. And since my "sins" were not really grave I deserve at least for a probation.
12  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal on: March 11, 2019, 05:02:14 PM
it's your fault, OP.
You have to accept it.
Theymos stated that even years after your plagiarised posts made, if anyone found them, you got permanent ban immediately. There is no chance to say it is my first time.
Sorry, you should start from zero again.
Be strong and be more careful next time.

Also why team has noticed in the letter "merit abusing"? Where is my lawyer? Cheesy

I am ready recognize that at the beginning  I was not a valuable user of the forum, but now I am asking for the mercy in the form of the probation.

The "mail" doesn't matter because even if you got unbanned you'd be banned again for plagiarism. So I don't think your ban appeal will succeed. I'm thinking that the e-mail is some sort of mix-up since it's far more likely that you've been banned for plagiarism but again - doesn't matter.

Please let us know the usernames of the "thousands of bots" and we'll report them if they break the rules.

I have been reporting about them, and moderators responded me smth in the way like "we do not ban or put red trust, it is up to forum users".
13  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal on: March 11, 2019, 04:48:45 PM
I don't know about "abusing the merit system", sounds like a weird reason for a ban since there aren't any strict rules about merits other than merit sources not being allowed to sell them.

But you've done plagiarism so the ban most likely will stay.

An ambitious project,a good idea and a strong team, closely follow this project, and I believe that this startup will achieve its goals

As I said before I have an official mail with a reason. Can provide screenshot or video, if needed.

About "plagiarism", who has not commited errors being newbie or bigginer? I have started here like a bounty hunter and last half a year mostly being occupied with my topic and reading news, and nothing more. There are literraly thousands of bots that are doing a lot of harm with no ban or red trust.

You got Auto banned.
With this kind of ban, the most popular reason is plagiarism.
I am not on computer now to check whether you made plagiarism or not.
But, firstly you should be honest with yourself, if you actually copied and pasted something without pointed out sources, the reason of your auto banned is clear.
There is no chance to unban if you plagiarised, only one time, the penalty shootout for you.

Thank you for the link, but I have seen before it, and it does not matter anything, as I have an official response from team via email with clear reason.

For merit abusement, I am not sure because you got merits from well-known users, but I don't know about users you sent your sMerits to.
Who they are? And how quality their posts are?
Most of your posts are in Russian, so I don't understand them all.

As I stated before I have never sold any merit, and far as I know I have never merited red trust user,s also apperently merit is my "asset", so I can merit literally anybody (as long as I am not being paid for it)

Dear BTT community,

My profile steve_rogers https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1791093 was banned.
Firstly I thought that this issue is connected with hacking my mail, because ban and hacking of my mail were more or less at the same time!

But, as it turned out, I was banned for abusing merit system!!! This statement is ridiculous, because I have never bought or sold merits, I do not have an excess to the accounts that I gave(or from whom I received merits).

Here is the letter that I have received.

Hi,

Unfortunately, screenshots are not relevant in the recovery process as they could be easily tampered with.

The account was banned for abusing the merit system well before the date you claim your email was hacked.

The account will remain banned. Thank you for your understanding!

Best regards,
Bitcointalk account recovery team

So, my point is, please prove that I have been abusing merit system! Also, as far as I remember theymos said that he do not even care about it, some DT users could only put you red trust, and that's it.

So, please, unban my account, or prove that I have been pumping my accounts or selling merits, or smth else.

Also, I wanna state that I am an authour of the topic (merit give away) that helps develop and full fill our forum with usefull info in russian sector. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3251187.msg33860081#msg33860081
Which proves that after gaining some exprience in this community, I've decided to make a contribution and I've been wasting my spare time to help the community.

Thank you in advance!
