2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: saveyourbitcoin is a scammer on: June 27, 2014, 07:01:18 PM
They sent me some packet I have to fill out.

The fact that I sent the reload info only to you means only one of two things.

1. You did redeem it

2. You sent the info to someone else to redeem

Honestly that is the only 2 viable options to this whole thing.

Or you sent me a used code. Stop trying to ruin my rep over some b.s..
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: saveyourbitcoin is a scammer on: June 27, 2014, 05:24:43 PM
Well here is multiple messages from last night that were sent to you, can you please send me a picture of your sent folder since you claim you emailed me??

http://imgur.com/QTECk54

Not sure why my timezone is off on the emails.

I would like to see these emails you claim you sent telling me that it wasn't working.

It was one email, sent from my phone, and it might not have went out, its in my drafts folder.  So, I guess for that, I apologize.  As for the reload code though, I have given you the info you need to start the investigation and to get Vanilla to refund you, and start a police report against whoever redeemed the code.  Don't know what else you want me to do though.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: saveyourbitcoin is a scammer on: June 27, 2014, 05:14:33 PM
Please take a screenshot of your sent messages in gmail then.
I will do the same and mine will show multiple emails sent and yours will not.

Oh, I got your email.  And as I said, contact Vanilla.  I am in Missouri, unless you are also, or you gave it to anither person in Missouri, I bet that it was not redeemed by anyone in Missouri.

Maybe someone has the time to check with vanilla for you, if you won't.

I'm not wasting my time on this though, especially when I have gotten exactly 0 from you after staying up last night waiting.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: saveyourbitcoin is a scammer on: June 27, 2014, 05:06:39 PM
This is 100% bullshit!

I was the one sending emails and PMs and this idiot would not respond whatsoever.

Funny this is the only way to get a response out of him and he in fact redeemed the card.

You are the one that told me to take a picture with receipt, I did, send you it in an email, then you quit responding.  I went on VanillaReload and when I typed that PIN in, it showed redeemed.  Still got no answers from you and now today you are trying to claim you were getting ahold of me?

You are an idiot man, seriously, nice try.

Call Vanilla, or have someone else do it for you, the code is in your posted pic.  It was redeemed before I even had the chance.  And I did send you an email, and you did not reply until this morning, with your accusations.

Not paying for something I did not receive.  Try to extort someone else.  I obviously just sold some stuff, with no issues.  I'm not going to steal your petty 200.00.  Cal lVanilla and file a police report on whoever you "gave" that code to before sending it to me.  It is also funny that once you said you had it, it took you over 45 minutes to take and send the picture. I assume it was redeemed by wither you are another person in that time.

6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: saveyourbitcoin is a scammer on: June 27, 2014, 04:41:30 PM
The code you sent to me was no good.  The last message I sent to you was saying I was loading.  Imagine my surprise when it didnt work.....

Also emailed you asking you why it was not working, with no response from you.

So take your false accusations elsewhere.  You tried passing off either a code that you used yourself, or gave to another seller as well, and I was too slow to load it or whatever.

Whats the best game listed in peoples opinion?  I will try one out, need an opinion though.  I am on a laptop, so nothing too consuming.
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining with old outdated equipment? on: June 26, 2014, 07:20:44 PM
All these people telling you to turn it off.....no.  Here's why.

What does it cost you to run the BE on your laptop that you already use?  Maybe .10 a month?

Whats the harm in running it?  Maybe you get lucky.  99.99999999% you dont.  But it isnt hurting anything to run it.  LEt it go, and maybe one day you wake up with some btc.

I'm liking US and Germany tomorrow to end in a draw. It is just too convenient of a situation for both teams to advance comfortably. Germany would still finish top of the group like they want with a draw.

Also liking Algeria to upset Russia or at least end in a draw. Algeria looked awesome last match while Russia has looked lackluster all tournament. Capello is not inspirational and don't really see this game being any different. Russians only play well on home soil. Algeria win/draw for me

If the USA game does not end in a draw, I hope that the US wins and somehow Portugal wins by like 8 goals to overtake Germany for being assholes and not taking the draw.  It is in Germany's interest to draw, they advance, and they dont have to worry about a Portugal team that will get stronger as the tourney goes on.

Probably 10-15 accounts but they need to be emailed verified.

That is not an issue.  But I need to know what you can afford to pay for, so I am not wasting my time.
12  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTB Bulk Facebook Accounts | Paying 25 Cents per account. on: June 26, 2014, 05:41:35 AM
bump, need this again

How many you paying for, max?  I can make as many as you need, starting now.

Interesting day tomorrow. We've got:

USA - Germany. After seeing both of these teams play, there is certainly room for an upset here. Germany is favored, but USA performed well against Ghana, and Ghana tied with Germany.

Portugal - Ghana. Another very interesting match. Portugal has been looking weak, but they performed about the same against the Americans as Ghana. This match is rather even, with potential for a LOT of goals because both of these teams are offense-oriented.

Algeria - Russia. If Russia wins, they will go through to next round. Their performance so far is really poor though so Algeria could easily upset them like they did the Koreans.

Korea - Belgium. I think this is the only easy to decide match. Belgium should get a solid win here, 1-0 or 2-0.

Already called off work for the USA game.....I will be drunk by 10am tomorrow Smiley
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitQuick on: June 25, 2014, 10:50:02 PM
I have spent the last few weeks researching exchanges and I will be posting what I have found for each one over the next couple of weeks. I'll begin with BitQuick LLC because I got to talk to an individual who saw them in person at a luncheon with the Central Ohio Fraud Examiners. He believed he was about to hear two experts in the field of btc speak. Oh boy where we wrong. This gave me my first and least reliable exchange to rate. BitQuick LLC

BitQuick is run by three individuals:

Jad Mubaslat: Engineering student (off to a good start). No "professional" experience. Has little formal coding experience and no background/education with payment systems. No in depth mining knowledge or experience. He couldn't speak to us because he was in the middle east at the time.

Chad Davis: No schooling. College dropout (from Wright State). Chad voiced his responsibilities as an order processor. He has no experience in the field of fraud detection or training in how to identify fraudulent transaction according to himself.

Justin McCarthy: Seemed to be on the business end as he is a Fisher Student, no formal Bitcoin experience.

Now onto the service:
3 Steps quick and easy they said! Well after the luncheon we got time to ask some hard questions and we got some scary answers.

They do not have dedicated servers.

They have no id verification system. When a buyer sends in his ID and receipt from the bank teller it is processed by Chad. When I say processed he verifies that the ID is real and the receipt hasn't been altered. Scary for someone with zero experience in this field. In order to check ID, Chad tries to use state services on the internet he mentioned in conversation checking facebook and social media to make sure they were real people (Facebook for ID verification?). However 20+ states do not services online that allow you to check the validity of an ID via picture or it is imperfect at best. This means all you need is a fake id from a state not included and they'd have no idea. In regards to the receipt, he uses online editing (free) detection software which can be duped by anyone that can use a keyboard.
On their site it says they are located out of Cincinnati, Ohio. However, they shared that they simply work out of a campus apartment with a simple wifi connection and two laptops.

They have complete access to steal the bitcoins they have in escrow. With no multi-sig escrow it is putting all the faith in a team including two college students and one dropout to not run with your btc. Especially, with the CEO having roots in the middle east where it could be difficult to pursue him if he fled with the funds.

They are operating illegally without a MSB license. They said that they are waiting for clearer guidance? Unfortunately, the guidance is clear and they are operating illegally. From their guidance "An exchanger is a person engaged as a business in the exchange of virtual currency for real currency, funds, or other virtual currency". However, maybe this isn't a concern if hey aren't planning on being in a country where they law applies for long.

They spoke highly of their advisor. With a little digging the advisor is connected to the students through their university sponsored "club" and doesn't appear to have any experience with exchanges, payment systems or the business application of btc. However, based on his resume he has an extensive tech background. Still, their club advisor appears to have become their business advisor.

Very scary exchange. I went into it thinking how these college kids could be transforming btc. Now, I'm
just wondering if the company is planning to leave the states with a pocketful of the users btc. Its scary to think that behind a keyboard someone can create a business that is so unstable and unregulated. My recommendation is to stay away and trust services with a more reliable and local team. It also doesn't hurt to be able to identify if an ID/receipt is real or fake.

Obvious sock puppet of another exchange is obvious.

Are you looking at hiring anyone to help in customer relations?  I have 12 years of experience in dealing with fraud and customer issues.

I could see East St Louis having a coin. It might help reduce crime a bit because gangsters don't blockchain.

Could pay the "strippers" (aka crackhead hoes), from PT's in btc lol.  Then get shot in the progress for trying to rip off the pimps.
18  Other / Meta / Re: Tried to support the forum and advertise and got scammed - Pls Help on: June 25, 2014, 09:36:55 PM
No there is nothing you can do.  You sent irreversible currency to a con-man.  It is gone.  A hard lesson to learn but always make sure you are sending money to the right person.

so fucking gutted.  3.4 BTC is lot and its a new business start up as well.  I obviously thought it was the right person.  I'm surprised someone was able to register a username that similar and contact bidders of the advertising auction unnoticed - This shit needs policing

You did not notice that the account had like no posts?

Since when is St Louis a state?  Did they secede from Missouri?
20  Economy / Goods / [WTS] RC Helicopter, Fun Toy for Adults, Indoor / Outdoor, Barely Used on: June 25, 2014, 09:04:49 PM
I bought this RC Helicopter when I was buying my son a RC Car.  This thing is pretty awesome.  Only used a few times, take it outside and fly it around the yard, into neighbors yard, etc.  Range is actually farther than described, I easily stood on my porch, and flew it into neighbors yard, and annoyed his dogs with it.  Fun times Smiley

Sells for about 60.00 new.  Will sell for 25.00 in btc plus shipping.

I will include batteries with it.

Comes with helicopter, remote, batteries, and charger.
