Can someone recommend good video materials (documentaries, movies) on cryptocurrency/blockchain for learning purposes?

From what i’ve read, Samsung has stated that they will include an encrypted memory chip that will allow to store sensitive date (in this case it could also mean bitcoin), but they never stated that they would include some sort of cryptocurrency software.
i, personally think it’s a matter of time. Couple of years, and and we will see this in almost every other smartphone.

"United States startup VaultTel has introduced a hardware cryptocurrency wallet designed to fit in a mobile phone SIM card tray, a press release from the company reveals on March 6…To store funds, customers can either insert the VaultTel Card inside an unused SIM card tray — in the case of dual SIM capacity — or connect the chip to their phone via an accessory, such as a dongle. The corresponding mobile app will then let users interface with their stored funds.”

I’m excited about all the crypto related inventions that have already been announced in 2019. Feel like the future might be approaching sooner than we thought

Some say it doesn’t really pose any kind major threats to the financial system, since it’s too unstable to be accepted as a regular currency. However, others say it will totally disrupt the current model. What do you guys think?

Does anyone know, how does the bitcoin network know who is a solo miner and who is mining pool? Or it does not matter at all? I’m just thinking about the rewarding process.

I was wondering, how does cryptocurrency (in this case Bitcoin) threat accountancy profession? I mean what type of accounting treatments even are there for crypto?

Though currently struggling for survival, if we’re talking about the future, could cryptocurrencies have a potential to trigger an eco friendly finance revolution?

Hmm, i see your point. But I think it really depends on the people and the specific demographic. There are many who don’t really feel comfortable with using technology day to day, however there a lot of us who are. Also, it has to be pointed that no one’s saying that cash will die out, at least in our lifetime, but that shouldn’t affect bitcoin whatsoever.

I don't think that would ever happen, since that would just defeat the whole purpose of a decentralised cryptocurrency as it would have to be controlled by the government.

I don’t know who would actually make the switch. Bitcoin is similar to gold in many ways, only it’s much more convenient and because of its decentralisation it’s an amazing inflation hedge (as some already said). Store of value and liquidity is not an issue for bitcoin.

If you could only give 3 advices to someone who’s new and wants to invest in Bitcoin, what would you tell them?

From one side, gold has proven its worth over a period of time and Bitcoin hasn’t really even been here for that long. However, when it comes to the actual store value, I believe bitcoin really is much better in the long run. Also think about how you would secure or keep gold, you would need to find storage and all of that could be quite expensive. With bitcoin to be secure you only need a small amount money and Eexchanging and sending it is also much faster and cheaper. Gold probably was the best value, but only until Bitcoin came.

I mean no one knew what the price of bitcoin would be in the next couple of years, so i think it’s not a bad decision, if he really enjoys the car. Of course, it also depends on how he actually got the bitcoins. If he actually earned them then i don’t see anything wrong with buying the car.

It would definitely be beneficial to have such a speed in terms of downloading, but i’m not sure how it would benefit bitcoin itself since it doesn’t affect its adoption.

I think it could be very interesting, i mean there’s a lot to cover. The previous crypto documentary must have been a lot of success if they keep doing these The outcome though depends on how realistic the documentary makers will be and will they focus more on the facts or on all the hype.

Currently cryptocurrency market is making many sponsorship deals with sports world and in Feb it was announced that FutoroCoin would be sponsoring formula 1 team.
I, personally think this is super cool news for cryptoworld as it shows that it’s not just a trend but so much bigger than that. What do you guys think?

I didn't even know this. But i guess it makes sense that they are separated. The whole concept is Bitcoin, but the currency is bitcoins. Thanks for the info!

This seems very logical. Banks always find a way to hate on bitcoin since they don’t like how much they are loosing their control over people and their finances. I do hope though that in future they’ll find a way to work together. I mean, they’ll have to, since times are and will be changing.

Crypto is still developing and still transforming and that is the reason why celebrities and influencers get often approached by different companies to promote and advertise crypto-based projects. When talking about influencers in general , 90% of the time they don’t use or know anything about the product they advertise, they’re in it just for the money.
I hope the situation improves with the improvement of the crypto, market and its users.

I feel like Elon Musk is one of the few people who actually care’s about making a difference and delivering good things for the human race and planet in general. Even if not a devoted crypto fan, he still is highly intelligent and can tell that cryptos are the future. With his statement or not, it is obvious we are moving into a digitalised world where paper money will stop existing.
