the truth about monero usage on deep web markets: ah this prove that full anonymity can be detrimental, and that bitcoin is actually the king in the dark web too, i always thought that monero was rising because it was used but now that you posted this i think it was a pump and dump It's pretty easy to prove payments with Monero, it has nothing to do with anonymity. Here is all you need to know: https://getmonero.org/resources/user-guides/prove-payment.html

Hi,
I'm a developer, and I can donate a few hours a week to help with the project. I would, for example, start by updating the website.
I invested in BTC and some other coins, including MINT, back in 2014, and so I'd love to see MINT gain some traction. A professional looking website could go a long way in making people pay more attention to MINT.
Please let me know if you'd like me to help, and how can I do so.
It also looks like the wallet is not working well. I downloaded the wallet, and I can see my MINT as "unconfirmed", but the wallet remains out of sync. Does anyone know if the wallet still works?

Nah I wasn't being judgemental at all. I meant that after having the basics and a bit more for a few extras, everyone should be happy enough. Of course a few more extras would be nice. But I think there's a tipping point where too many extras could actually work against you. That's all I was saying.
But you guys still haven't answered my question..if you want to be rich, What's your main motive? (Apart from being able to have more fun and work less) Are you trying to impress girls? Impress colleagues? Family members? Get confirmation you're not bad at business? Which one is it?? Is it something else??
I make around $60K a year and I consider myself rich; I have everything that I need, I can travel, buy stuff that I like, live in a nice house in a neighbourhood I'm in love with, save a decent amount and even waste money from time to time (especially when I'm drunk, and start buying drinks, which lead to expensive champagne...). I'm a real advocate of the fact that money doesn't buy happiness, especially after a certain amount. Once you are comfortable, happiness comes from inside. Most people today, in this money-driven society, believe that happiness can be achieved with material things solely; the vast majority of these people will never feel they have enough. It's not my wish to be super rich, but I'm not stupid either; I own a couple of bitcoins and I constantly work on developing skills for my career, which bring more income every year. I just think of money as one more thing. Happiness consists of multiple factors, and money is just one of them. Nothing more than that.

I was able to withdraw most of my coins, a total sum of 0.07 BTC, and even come up with a small profit of around 0.03 BTC since my initial deposit was 0.04 BTC.
It does bother me greatly, however, that I still have SPA and BC stuck in there --I had 300 BC, I already said goodbye to them but hopefully they will reimburse this somehow in the future--.

I email escorts and escort agencies and ask them if they accept bitcoin (prostitution is legal in most of Europe) BTC is perfect for them and their customers; eventually they will all accept it, and when that happens the value will rise and a lot of businesses will start accepting it. Think about the internet, cable TV or the old VCR, they all got popular because of pornography. Think about money; like Aristotle once said: 'If women didn't exist, all the money in the world would have no meaning'. I don't think BTC is the exception. Of course we need better technology or easier ways to convert money into BTC, but those will come in time.

i love the ideas u guys have. if we could get as 'peru coin' would be great and sure we can pass premine for citizens - we didnt drop anything. and yes we di notice somebody buying out cheap coins to manipulate the price. we assume the person can have even 50k SUN, so sooner or lateer the big pump is coming. about pools - if anybody can please tell fees of each pool - ill update thread. its other SUN admiun who put 2,5% - i cant change it till he wakes up Giving it to citizens might be hard, but it's important to notice that Bitcoin is barely known in the Spanish speaking world. For instance, Spain is the most advanced Spanish speaking country, and only 20K people own Bitcoins, in a country with 50,000,000 people. Countries such as Peru, Colombia or Venezuela (where the Sun brights all year long ) have barely used Bitcoin, which means that SUNcoin could get there before people even hear about the mother of crypto-currencies, making SUNcoin the most popular option in the region. Also, on countries such as Venezuela, where the government controls the money of the people, especially foreign currencies (there are restrictions which prevent people from buying more than a certain amount of dollars), the use of cryptocurrency could do a world of good, increase the freedom of the people and their standard of living. Since my native language is Spanish I could be of help with website translations or anything needed to promote the coin in those regions. I also have a lot of friends in those areas, and I could introduce SUNcoin to them and explain why they should use it --given the situation in countries such as Venezuela, like I said before, people would almost immediately start using it, as they cannot access more powerful foreign currencies easily, and they have no trust in their own currency (Bolivar Fuerte) at all--. I do think, however, that we need a strong argument that answers the question: why should we use SUNcoin? What makes it better? If we can answer that question with confidence we can surely promote the coin in those areas, the name and logo are perfect and people would feel instant identification with the coin. And please remember that I'm talking about real countries, with populations of 30,000,000 each

I have a few ideas to promote the coin... They could make little sense though, but might motivate better ones One of them is to do something with the football (soccer for some people ) World Cup, which is coming soon (June 2014). Since the World Cup will be in Brazil, in summer, where there is plenty of sun and hot beaches, what could be better than paying for those caipirinhas with SUNcoin? What about donating SUNcoin to certain organizations related to football and Brazil? What about selling tickets to games for SUNcoin? I'm not exactly sure how but since the World Cup is such a big thing, watched by more than half of the world population, this could be a great way of promoting the coin and make it more valuable. The other idea is to promote it in Peru, where the official currency is called 'Sol', which is Sun in Spanish. SUNcoin could earn fast acceptance there, since with that name there is not much else to explain. Besides, my native language is Spanish, so I could be of help here. Anyways, just my 2 SUN
