2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading for quick profit on: May 06, 2018, 12:48:36 PM
Maybe you could do it but you need to have a huge capital for example you could get a small profit and fix the amount that you want,
If you want $50 then it depends on your capital for example 1% profit in $5,000 but again it would be risky specially in this market.

I think it's works well with people that have high balance because they can buy bulk coins then sell it quickly if it reach at least a good short wide spread. The only downside is it's super risky if you try that with big amount. Maybe you just need to practice at low balance and try if you can profit. Then just try with high balance if your are confident and not afraid to lose.

From my experience, playing it relatively safe you would need about 2000 USD II to make on average $50 a day, however I don't limit myself to day trading and I suggest you don't either. All professional traders know that. If you want to maximise your returns, you would need to consider long term trading as well. With cryptos it is relatively painless as there are no overnight fees on exchanges, so even if I assume to open a day trade position I would leave it overnight if the trade needs more time to develop.

Exactly on point SportsbookBettor! By trading small amounts for a last few months I am able to predict what is going to happen if my account is 10x larger than now. Really good reality check before you put a lot of money into this volatile market. Btw never stick to only one pair unless you're glued to the monitor nearly 24 hours/day. It is way better to trade several pairs i.e. if my USDT-BTC trade is not going my way and I can see that it is going to take a while before market turns around I'd open counter-position (if I went long I open short and the other way around) to minimize loss of the trade gone wrong. Also, some altcoins go against BTC and some go along (as long as BTC is not in total bull ride and alts go red). It is worthwhile to recognize them and then trade them according to market trend.

I've heard about such programs for a long time. But I did not know how it worked. Will it be difficult to use if I am a beginner?

No, it is not really difficult if you dont try to go crazy on settings from the first moment. You can basically set up a strategy, choose coins and go. If you like, contact me at Telegram (https://t.me/br41nbug). I can help you out!

cheers,

Totally true. But this doesn't mean you will get rich quick and quit your day job. Trading is a job, so if you decide to learn more about it (totally worth it!), you will use your bot even more to your advantage.

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times...

At tradingbot.org while purchasing it asks for my API key. I assume this is the API key from the exchange I will use... But why does the reseller need the API key info?

Thanks!

7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 02, 2018, 09:40:34 PM
Why is it that bitcoin, bitcoin cash, eth, and ripple are now all moving in the same direction. I thought they were antagonistic?

If you look at last 4 hours on polo btc/usdt and xrp/btc you will find out they are still pretty antagonistic to each other

I don't understand this whole "medical use only" mentality. Sure, it's a step in the right direction but it's still a ludicrous concession on liberty that doesn't ever need to be made.

Alcohol literally destroys your brain cells. Smoking may not be the healthiest consumption option and I advocate the vaping of plant matter and consumption of edibles over all other methods....

But it's ludicrous, this has absolutely nothing to do with health otherwise cigarettes and alcohol would not be available within 2 miles or so everywhere throughout the entire north and south American continents.

Establishment takes longest to adapt. In Europe there's still more countries restricting use than aren't. Also tax on cigs and alcohol is an important part of federal income pretty much in most developed countries in the world, that obviously doesn't help...

Been here for some time and honestly, cannot imagine better go-to source of latest info about the market. I agree, there is a lot of crap to sift through, however, isn't all internet like this?

God bless the WO!

Were any of you lucky enough to swap out some BTC to ETH during that flash crash?  I'm reading around that it briefly touched $13.   What a steal...I'm sitting in front of a computer all day at work and I can't believe I missed it.   I usually have the charts up on at least one of my windows on one of my screens while I'm doing other work.

Coinbase stopped trading pretty quickly it looks like though...

not sure about $13 but I bought at around 0.11 in the afternoon thinking that's bottom, then watched it fall in the evening. Not recommended. Glad it's pulling up though.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Gavin Andresen undercover for the CIA? on: June 21, 2017, 12:48:10 AM
I seriously doubt that much of the meat and potatoes deep state stuff happens through the CIA in the modern age.

The CIA has been getting such an increasingly bad press for all their successful cover-ups that gradually unwound over the course of the 20th century that it make little sense to do much dirty work through the CIA these days. It's probably exactly like it is on Homeland and Meet the Parents/Fockers, lol

if Gavin Andresen works for any shady organisation, we probably don't who they are, or where their HQ is. "Knowledge is power", "we want information" etc

Why do you have to imply that he works for anyone but himself, his own vision? Read the post above you - it clearly says what the whole Gavin story has been about for 2 years now...

No need for drama guys. Could someone simply state a technical reason why the core proposal would not be a good idea?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is up with LTC? on: June 09, 2017, 09:40:18 PM
Litecoin is proving to be a stable coin ,i expected some sort of rally once again after the successful activation of segwit and after that we did not see any breaking news regarding the price nor from the team,i still think it will rise again and so i am waiting for a long time growth.

I hope you are right, as I bought a few a couple of weeks ago...
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HackBTC.bid a new scam? on: June 07, 2017, 02:50:25 AM
Site: http://hackbtc.bid/

I suspect this is a scam. Even if the video is so tempting, I think the balance is refreshed back to where it was. Yeah it's free, but paying the miners fee is the cost to get 0.1 to 2.5 BTC for free in just a few minutes? Plus, the chat room is full of bots with one active chatter there which is the admin. At first, the chat room looks realistic because the conversations are so real.

When I refresh, the conversation of each bot still looks the same (phrase and sentence). Try to refresh and see.

Correct me if I'm wrong though. I suspect the admin of this site would reply and defend his scam site, lol. Cheesy
