1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] Project WOLF on: June 05, 2014, 07:48:47 AM
Guys, this coin has been deader than dead for the past few months. The worst thing that Dev could do was disappear and he did that multiple times and has really shown his true colors. Totally irresponsible and inexcusable behavior, regardless of what's happening in his personal life, there was a lot of money on the table that a lot of people lost and he is largely responsible for that by making promises he did not keep --- primarily cutting Insanity Sunday short and then making claims of investments, making claims of his own investment, etc etc that never came to fruition. Phase Two was a total bust, obviously.

I feel badly for all those who lost money, and I am pretty glad I cut bait awhile ago and was able to sell all my WOLF at reasonable prices, though I feel bad for the people holding my bags. Good luck to the person who wants to take over, but I think it's a lost cause.

PMd.

But I think I'm an idiot because I do not for the life of me understand what the password is that I'm picking. Anyone care to explain it to me like I'm a five year old?

While I also doubt that he's done a runner, the fact is that he's been consistently unresponsive the past 4-6 weeks, which does not bode well for the future of the coin. There have been plenty of opportunities the past few weeks to put Phase Two in motion, but unfortunately it didn't happen. I divested a good chunk of my WOLF holdings when the price went back up to .8 - .9 because I would be pretty surprised now if the coin doesn't die. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't see it happening.

It's because it's been nearly two weeks with nothing happening. People who are tied up in WOLF are getting impatient and selling for both liquidity and because it's unclear whether phase two will ever happen. There was the chance yesterday when someone bought up past the dev price for everyone who pledged to actually get it moving and put up the first buy walls, but that chance passed. And unless action is taken, there might not be that opportunity again.

Look at the order book on poloniex! Shocked

Almost 10 BTC volume and no order left under the dev price for a few batches. Dumpers seem to be out, it is time to get phase 2 started! Wink

Some more good news.

If it helps any, I asked many of you to express intent, and the summary of that is that between you you have about 60 BTC to put in to start, but all want to see a random pot between 2 and 6 sold first! Nobody wants to move first without the others.

Now's the time, before people start undercutting again...get those buy walls up!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin Phase Two - coin for investors and traders on: April 14, 2014, 05:05:37 PM
I still don't understand why there is always less and less Wolf for sale on Poloniex... The total sell orders are now 55.000. Last week this was still 70.000, 2 days ago 64.000: what is happening with the other wolf?  Are people not putting sell orders any more? Or am I missing the obvious here?

Well, about 12K got sold the past two days, so that's part of it, and whoever bought probably didn't put it back on the books.

Just applied, not sure if the distribution is over, but if I do get some I will definitely pledge 10K to the multipool or the community website, whichever needs it. Thanks!

Good work Gliss.

Marketcap by available supply gives everyone a better investment advice. Crypto market is getting a bit more mature with this.

Just spent the last hour reading all about this --- totally missed it until today. Oops. Sounds like a great idea, hopefully there's still room for more people. Even if I can't get in the initial phase, hoping to be able to get in eventually so I can get involved.

Open Question: I feel like I'm missing something, throughout my involvement with crypto's over the last few years, it's appeared to me that all each trader really wants is PROFIT  (a dumpless coordinated pump), with no surprise dumps from people who got in really low or miners, and where the coin ends up with solid buy support that incrementally backs up any natural rises from new people joining the coin, thus ensuring a profit and ensuring stability of holdings. I was and am quite sure that this phase of WOLF provides that, so very surprised that the response has been so low. What am I missing here? Is there an obvious hole/exploit in the plan I'm missing, or do other traders prefer to leave it up to chance with random-alt, or?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_rider_problem
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tragedy_of_the_commons
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_theory

The uncertainty is the issue. If this plan had executed quickly (it's now been a week with no movement...which is a LONG time in the world of crypto. Everything is super volatile and the fact that nothing has happened in such a long time is rightfully scaring people) or had any kind of backing to it, then it may have worked. The fundamentals are sound and the issues with human nature that utopianfuture points out could have been mitigated had it moved quickly. But as you can see, people are worried that nothing will happen and their WOLF holdings will be worthless and that the other holders will sell for the remaning BTC on the buy side, and it pushed the price down. I'm partially responsible in that I sold some of mine into the .9 buy wall days and days ago (so now I'm "only" left with around 8000 WOLF) and I can't blame those who sold all the way down to .13 even though to me that's not worth it. But holders are pricing in the % chance they think this is going to work at this point and clearly some people are just trying to get out for whatever they can. And very few people are willing to buy in, because there's so much uncertainty that the dev has done a pretty poor job of mitigating.

It will take a buy up of the books below the .91 sell orders (about 5 BTC now) and then putting up the first buy wall to push the price up and then getting the next buy walls up, but even then, I anticipate people selling right through those very quickly.

In retrospect it would have been so much better to take the 80+ BTC from week 6's sunday and just used that for phase two rather than one last game play. Then I think it would have worked. Now, well, I'm not so sure.

Man. I feel for whoever invested in this coin. The coin sure is insane.

I made about 4 BTC in the first 5 weeks. Should've left it at that. I'll end up breaking even, basically. But could have been so much better.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin Phase Two - coin for investors and traders on: April 12, 2014, 11:01:43 PM
Well, someone just completely gave up at poloniex, selling all the way down to .00013. Damn it sucks to be a bagholder. Should've given up after week 5....I trusted that there would be 3 more insanity sundays after week 6 and now I've gotten burned. And the dev hasn't responded to my messages or the questions on here. Sad to say, but my faith is gone.

PLAN TO BUY WOLF UP TO .0015.... But I need HELP

Ok here is my plan. This will take the least amount of BTC to do but will also decrease the amount of WOLF we hold. This plan will absolutely work though, and get almost all 330 k sold back to the dev to be destroyed.

First to let you all know I am mostly stuck in wolf so I need the first buy wall from the dev to sell my wolf to to free up btc. When that is done I will have enough BTC to buy an entire 10,000 WOLF for the next wall to be put up. I need a few other people with a few btc to help me. Here is the plan.

Investor group 1 (IG1) and investor group 2 (IG2) Will be used for my example.

IG1 buys entire .00092 supply,
Dev puts up .00091 buy wall.
IG2 buys entire .00094 supply,
Dev puts up .00093 buy wall.
IG1 sells all WOLF acquired at .00092 to .00093 wall, takes their BTC and buys entire .00096 supply,
Dev puts up .00095 buy wall,
IG2 sells all WOLF acquired at .00094 to .00095 wall.... and so on all the way up.

One problem we will run into is the WOLF for sale on poloniex.  People will have to buy and hold them for the plan to work. It would only make sense to do that since my plan will 100% drive the price to .00015 and almost all of those WOLF will be destroyed by selling them back to the Dev.

If I can sell my current WOLF holdings to the dev at . 00091 I can get about 15 BTC together and would have enough to be a "investment group" by myself.  Even if I could only get one other person with 15 BTC to help me, if the rest of you bought and held the WOLF on the market this plan will work.  PM me with questions please.

The other big problem is the people who hold wolf now (like myself) selling into the buy walls, which will happen. Good luck though.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin Phase Two - coin for investors and traders on: April 11, 2014, 12:00:23 AM
dev what's the current btc pot?

Nonexistent. There's about 3.6 BTC of sell orders under .91. Those need to be erased. The first buy wall has to go up. If that doesn't happen in the next day, then it won't be good. I have no BTC left to invest because I'm stuck with WOLF, and it's look more and more like we are the bagholders, thanks to Insanity Sunday ending 3 weeks early. Fingers crossed that some other people here can help save the coin, but I can't invest any more BTC into it.

Yep. Sell orders at 0.0008 now...

Everyone trying to undercut each other yet again despite the fact that in the long run this makes everybody lose, I'd find it amusing except I'm a big bagholder myself.

Oh well BTC is practically worthless now anyway.

Even more worthless now...wheeeee.

Guys, we have to get this moving. If you are interested in buying, buy soon, because the longer it takes to get the buy walls up, the more likely this is not going to work.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin Phase Two - coin for investors and traders on: April 08, 2014, 04:29:44 PM
No buying , and to panic

Yeah people are now selling below the dev price, it's the same thing all over again...

There's not going to be any movement unless people buy from the dev.

Exactly, it'll happen though at some point, and as it does more will join. The numbers are designed to force the price up regardless of dumping, all it takes is confidence.

There are a host of alt coins with various people trying to pump so they can dump, miners dumping, etc you all well know the state of the crypto scene. This coin is designed entirely for traders and investors, with input and decisions by traders and investors all the way along, it's as strong as you make it, and isn't open to manipulation, do run the numbers yourselves and do comment back with any changes, flaws, and proposals. It's your coin.

For the most part, it's beneficial to be buying the lowest orders on poloniex because it forces out the weak hands who would sell into the buy walls anyway. It also will eventually get rid of the people who are selling below the dev walls, there's less than 3 BTC left to push the price up past .92. That's why I'm buying from there at the moment.

I would like to see a more concerted marketing effort, though, particularly if there's a time deadline for the miners. You were able to sell 100s of BTCs worth for 5-6 weeks, it's time to use that power to jumpstart this.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: April 07, 2014, 01:28:03 AM
Only hope that WOLF is getting better and better, not worthless after nine weeks, to pray

That is in your hands, and the hands of your fellow wolf traders / holders.

I'm setting up the infrastructure and communicating with everybody to ensure that if you simply have a little faith in your own holdings, it will pay dividends. All you have to do is be strong and buy / hold / discuss wolf socially.

If you're not a strong hand then either don't buy, or get out using the walls which will be provided, that's what they are there for.

At the least, it's an open democratic coin where you have as much influence over it's future and price as I do - and collectively far more power over it than me.. I'm just administrative staff - there are no surprises and no people with free wolf or mined wolf waiting to dump. It's a level, transparent, playing field.. for once.

update: WOLF enters Phase Two on 2014-04-07, proposal accepted: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1py6VDiRlMl3zJbS19jCTpt0rd8F4wd1tXnck2VaMmZ8/edit

ps: new orders processed in chronological order from when received, so if you want any of the first batches express intent in pm to be first in the queue

Is the supply now open?

Maybe there should be a website or something to keep track of how much is available, etc.?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: April 06, 2014, 07:46:07 PM
OMG! What happened today, I just entered on Poloniex and saw a lot of sell orders under 0.001 and even some at 0.00078 (in the transaction history)?!

Look at the amounts, though, they were tiny (10 WOLF). Nothing really has been sold below .85.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: April 05, 2014, 08:50:00 PM
So now all our WOLF holdings have been devalued by 10%? Not sure how I feel about that.
