We def need another exchange soon since c-cex is down often
The only way to get in another exchange is to buy enought votes. It is kind of investing but I'd also call it giving a bribe. To start buying votes we need to know how many people are interested in COIN porject. Some people who support COIN are chating here, but I'm sure that there are those who prefer to keep silence Smiley We need to know how many people are ready to support COIN project at the moment. Please post +1 if you are mining/investing/ready to mine/ready to invest/ready to support/interested in COIN.

you do know that most people will stay silent on this one Smiley
If you provide me question and answers I'll setup the poll so every one can stay anonymous and express their vote.

BTW, i like the Coin Accepted Here logo. just a suggestion though, what if the [₡ Coin] change to [₡oin] ??

yeah, I hate that! Cheesy
I think that every company that uses logo instead of the first letter need to burn in hell Cheesy

Fell asleap last nigh with laptop in my lap.. playing with LiveCode. Didn't used it before, it seams nice..

Trying to prepare COIN for services.. I'll have  a free weekend and we really need to get one more major exchange for services to be ready to accept COIN. Lots of exchanges now asking "votes", even major ones. We'll see what is  best option for us, and should make some kind of action plan for this new situation..

what's next? coinmarketcap asking "votes" for listing? coinwarz?
every exchange is doing it now, even cryptsy.. it's very lucrative to list coins now days.
maybe github will do it too..

what do you think? it's the work from same artist that made the logo?
For me it's clean and simple.. just like COIN Smiley

and now all exchanges are asking for BTC voting. LOL Cheesy
just crooked world.. it's funny actually how P&D coins made it so easy for exchanges to get BTC form us..

can you please add a poll I mentioned earlier. You may have missed it, so I'll repeat the post. By now we have a fake locked poll with two options, so it is the time to replace it with something useful.

I don't believe we can add multiple choices here, and if I add that many options, I'll not be able to remove it. Sad
You can't actually remove poll at all.. hence empty pool at the top Sad
Really? Where is no way to edit or delete you own poll? How can it be possible?
By the way it seems like I don't have permissions to add/edit/delete polls even in my own threads. Whom should I contact to get such permissions?!

there is a bug in smf, and it's fixed in later versions. but bct is not updated to latest version.
I contacted a moderator of subforum, he was quite helpful.

If someone knows for sure please let me know definitely how many confirmations mined blocks require.. Since they "mature" I'm seeing some strange behavior out of the pool's wallet, it goes into the negative until 30 confirms, which shouldn't cause any problems with payouts, it is just annoying.

http://coin.fedaykin.us Come mine with us!

30 confirmations for coins to mature.
edric, as well, can you setup a worker for me? To show some love for new pool I'll send some hashrate to your pool and for your account for 24h.

SilentBit, send me your COIN address in PM so I can send you your bounty.
Edric, you as well. It's nice to see a new pool.. COIN network is expanding.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★★ [COIN] ★★★★★ on: March 19, 2014, 06:47:11 PM
we just need small push to break the barrier of 0.5BTC volume.. to be on main CoinMarketCap list..
I'm just resisting the urge to clear those sell orders on c-cex to bump up the volume Smiley But I don't want to be involved in trading, don't want any accusations of me influencing the price..

do you know that we still have active bounties? quite interesting bounties..

First, I agree with vilgem - we should show some dynamics on thread title and come up with more attracting motos from time to time, demonstrating that things are moving around here. Emphasize that it's still quite easy to mine the hell out of COIN is a must - as I said before, we need more mined coin to help reduce the premine weight.

that's not a matter, every day there is ~1440 blocks so 1,440,000COIN newly minted regardless of hashrate. Bigger hashrate will help to distribute COIN better, even is distributed trough exchanges as well.

I do no see the voting! Have you really added it into OP?

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★★ [COIN] ★★★★★ on: March 19, 2014, 02:34:31 PM
Well, here's another take on the moto:

"Drop the BTCit, get into COIN"

it would go better if we had a symbol for COIN, but you get the ideia Wink
But we have Smiley
It's ₡

but I had no clue how to get it in here and use Tongue noob  Lips sealed
now I'll just copy it Wink

And so it is:

"Drop the BTCit, get into ₡OIN"

I see what you did here Cheesy bitCOIN COIN Cheesy LOL I get it now Cheesy

so, I'm back.. what we have here?
I see some serious buy orders at c-cex, few ideas regarding title..
adding exchanges voting into OP -done..

I noticed few good ideas earlier, I'll review last posts a bit..
and yeah, Shuxy, your dice game look neat. Smiley

Needed to jump out of the bed this morning, but I'm here on my iPhone following the discussion.
I'll change the title to a simple one, until we find a great one. Just trow your title ideas here. A small bounty for a best one.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★★ [COIN] ★★★★★ traded at C-CEX for BTC and USD on: March 19, 2014, 07:08:23 AM
interest is rising, price is steady, new exchanges interested in COIN, community taking up.. yet, hashrate is dropping.
This is best time to start mining. A true potential and low diff. You can get metric ton of COIN even with 1 mh/s

guys, just have opened my eyes.. will address other posts when I woke up completely Smiley
it's great to see activity in this thread

Hi Guys,
CoinMarket.io has a thread on bitcointalk where new coins can be suggested.
Please leave a message to have their attention! You can see my reply on the link below:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422726.2560

that's one fine exchange. I like it a lot personally.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★★ [COIN] ★★★★★ traded at C-CEX for BTC and USD on: March 18, 2014, 07:00:41 PM
I still believe that we need to get listed on a popular exchange, it is important. Is it possible to introduce a bounty for those who pay 0.1 BTC to a voting address? It would be additional motivation. Like 25000 COINs for those who vote by 0.1 BTC. This would be equivalent to 0.000004 exchange rate, too high for now, but hopefully profitable in the long term. Moreover it would not be a selling deal, it would be a small compensation. What do you think about it?

And I agree with you completely. We need more exchanges and more exposure. But I really, really, but you know -really- don't believe in paying to the exchange to list coins. I believe that exchanges need to profit on fees, not coins that need an exchange for pump and dump.  If we will do something like you are proposing, I'm against it and strongly discouraging it. What I can do is to allocate some marketing funds to you and close my eyes on how you are using the funds. but I say if..

Guys, I guess we can do all of the above, so just ear me out, please:

Vilgem, can you take point on selecting/voting for an Exchange to through money at? If we can arrange for 25 supporters of COIN to pledge, I think it might be worth it, even if we get just a bit higher in the ranks. I'll be one, even though I still think it's too soon for a major exchange (you see, we still have a low number of mined coins and that makes dev's premine overly weighted - I don't see it as a problem, because our dev is clearly going for long-term, but exchange-only crypto players, and they are the majority, tend to not like such levels of advantage)

Coin-project, you think you can spare some bounty on this effort, if we can come up with a decent pledge and action plan?

let's ear it from the rest of us too! Ladies and gentlemen, please, do pitch in, your contributions are most needed Smiley

and for this.. I'll happily allocate marketing funds toward this.. COIN need help to market itself, a lots of help. I'll appreciate and support any good plan, any good action, any good initiative to market the coin better.
like some of you know, previously I gave rewards for a good commitment to the COIN.. and will keep doing the same.
