1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Poor hashrate w/ Claymore miner Win 10 on: December 19, 2017, 11:10:56 PM
Well what the hell, I know I checked my Win 10 version and I am certain it said the version that was Fall Creators update. But today I do reboot for a Windows update and now it tells me FCU was installed. Yet still, I cannot seem to achieve anymore than 11Mh/s hashrate. Used DDU to uninstall and reinstall Nvidia drivers too this time, which made missing opendll.dll go away. Nothing I do can get me back to my original hash rate, I think it's time to give up  Cry

I am still experiencing the problem. I've upgraded drivers several times and chose clean install. From researching it seems the problem is caused in Win 10 by not having the 'Creators Update' version, however this problem started right after Win 10 was updated to that version.

In Nvidia Control panel I have Power mgmt mode set to Prefer max performance. If I set Optimize computer performance to on, Claymore spits out the 'cannot allocate big buffer for dag' error when starting.

Anybody have any other suggestions to get Claymore working properly again?

Haven't fired up my miner in a couple months. Did today and only getting 3MH/s max compared to the normal 18 or 20. Keeps alternating between 1.764 and 3.032 actually. Win 10 is fully up to date. Originally got Opencl driver missing, so reinstalled those drivers along with Nvidia driver update to latest v388. Card is 980 GTX.

Using the following:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal (wallet addy) -epsw x -mode 1

Any suggestions?

Alright, I figured out what's going on here. Sometime ago I transferred all my coins from my bitcoin core to Coinbase. This transfer was conflicted as well until it updated. So the reason why the payment I sent never made it is because I didn't actually have any coins in my wallet, though it was showing so since I was so far behind on transactions.

Ditching Bitcoin core forever, it's way too slow and really hogs resources on my PC. Sorry for the confusion!

Huh. Strange. Try starting it with the -rescan option this time. You don't need to have -zapwallettxes anymore.

Ok, I ran bitcoin core with -zapwallettxes. The transaction is now gone, however my wallet balance is zero!!! What should I do now?

Once your wallet is synced, you need to remove that transaction from your wallet. This will then allow you to spend your Bitcoin as it is not actually gone. To do this, you must start Bitcoin Core (I assume it is Bitcoin Core because that is the only wallet that has -000 in the txid) with the -zapwallettxes option which will remove your transaction. Then you can spend the Bitcoin again and it should go through.

Last week I attempted an online purchase with btc. I paid out of my wallet however the transaction seemingly failed on the vendor's website. I told them the btc were sent but they said they had never received it. I thought it was because my wallet was 150 weeks behind on transactions, so I let it update however the transaction is showing as 'conflicted' in my wallet. The transaction shows as ff96ced7178cb83d6c17cfa677bef877ec67e37061ad71fc2e4cca13c2b84ac4-000, but blockchain can't locate any transactions matching this hash. Where did my btc go???
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Can't throttle GPU on: June 17, 2011, 08:26:07 PM
Hello I have Radeon 5850 and wanted to throttle GPU some because it gets incredibly hot. I added -s .01 flag in Guiminer but the mining never actually starts, just says Starting... down in the corner and I have absolutely no GPU usage. I've tried different values and still nothing.  Huh
