1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cold storage & Staking on: April 30, 2022, 05:41:07 PM
I really only like to keep everything in cold storage

But I know that Staking is really taking a foothold as future-proofing crypto

Is there any way to Stake, but have the security of Cold Storage?

Is there any way to Stake while in Cold Storage
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some high-quality, legit projects that are under $0.10? on: April 30, 2022, 04:40:33 PM
Looking for updates on this thread.

If anyone has any new suggestions, please post them.

I'm going to re-read through this thread and pull out the best suggestions for more research.

Looking for coins/tokens under $0.10, with a fairly reasonable supply size.

Not interested in anything with hundreds of billions or trillions of coins lol

The goal is to get in under $0.10 and cash out at $1.00+

Anyone?

I'm not familiar with that and can't seem to find anything about it on CMC.

Can you please link me to more info?

Also, someone else has suggested this token, and even though it's not under $0.10. it's only $0.16 right now and that's still pretty low.  Only has a max token supply of 10 billion, so it's not terrible.  Question is, is it a legit project?

ANKR - 10 billion tokens and currently $0.16
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / VR, AR, XR & AI projects to consider on: November 28, 2021, 12:58:30 AM
Ok so I really want to focus on VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), XR (Extended Reality) & AI (Artificial Intelligence) projects

Start listing the projects you know that fall into these categories so we can start taking a deeper look at them for potential investment.

This also includes anything that will be in the META universe.

CEEK - CEEK

DBC - Deep Brain Chain

AGI - Singularity

MANA - Decentraland

Ok thanks for everyone's input.

I've researched all of the coins suggested and this is what I came up with.

Anything over a trillion coins, I really have zero interest in.  Really 500 billion is probably the max supply of any coin I would even consider.

I really want coins that are closer to a billion total supply, and preferably well under a billion total supply.

Out of all of the coins suggested, these are the coins that mostly fit that criteria:

Under a Billion Tokens:

SOLUM - 100 million coins & $0.0012 in current price - great attributes and potentially a great buy!  But is it a real project?

KUROBI - 400 million & currently @ $0.067 - again, low max supply and cheap price right now - but is it a real project?

Over a Billion Tokens:

XYO - 13 billion & currently @ $0.05 - which isn't terrible and worth putting some funds into.

DAPPT - 5 billion & currently @ $0.0044 - not a terribly high supply and a really low price

BFG - 5 billion & currently @ $0.025 - not a terrible supply and pretty low price

I'm HIGHLY considering Kurobi & Solum as they seem to be the best overall from those suggested.  But I still need to do a bit more research to see if they are a legit project that's worth investing into.

The other 3 are still probably going to get at least $100, and maybe even $500 invested to gamble on whether these are worth while projects that will yield a high return.

Can anyone comment any further on any of these 5 projects?

Can anyone suggest any other tokens/projects that fit the criteria I am looking for and I should look into more?

Thanks!

Damn it, of course that Opacity is up 50% right now!

Not the best time to buy in lol, I hate chasing the green dragon

But does seem like a good project with a very small max supply.

Especially compared to the others that were suggested with 100 billion to 500 billion lol

Someone some where else even suggested Ever Grow Coin EGC and it has 1 QUADRILLION tokens!! lollll
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some high-quality, legit projects that are under $0.10? on: November 11, 2021, 11:04:08 PM
Thanks for those recommendations, I'll look into them.

I don't need it to be in the top 100 CMC.  In fact I don't want it to be.

I'm only concerned with it being a legit project and under $0.10.

Alt coins scale so fast and pop quick from under $0.10 to $1-$2+

I want to load up and this price point makes it very easy to buy a lot of and see massive gains inside of $1.00.

I've done it with UBT, ADA, HBAR and POLY

Not enough to change my life, but enough that it was some impressive gains.

I want to load up enough to change my life finally.

I actually bought a little VET I think under $0.10, but I wasn't familiar with the project so didn't buy a lot of it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What are some high-quality, legit projects that are under $0.10? on: November 11, 2021, 10:35:16 PM
Ok so I'm looking to load up some serious bags on a handful of high-quality, legit projects that are under $0.10

So what does The Hive suggest?

Give me options of tokens that are under $0.10, as well as $0.01.

Looking for 5-10 solid projects that are just getting started with a large potential.

I know low market cap and other things need to be taken into consideration, but we can discuss other qualifiers once we compile a list of the best tokens under $0.10.

Thanks!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: March 23, 2020, 09:49:21 PM
So I'm looking to round out my portfolio on about 10 crypto projects that are all under $0.10 right now and have the potential for going 100x by either doing so in the past or has great potential to do so again when the next bull market hits.

So far in my portfolio:

Unibright (UBT)
PolyMath (POLY)
Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)
Enjin (ENJ)
Singularity (AGI)

I was considering adding WanChain, but I could take it or leave it.  It seems to have really good gains in the past and still is an active project.  But the others are staying in my portfolio.

So I'm looking for about 5 more really strong projects that are currently $0.10 and below with huge potential of 100x.

And GO! lol

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR) cryptocurrencies on: March 20, 2020, 07:12:50 AM
Only a few from the list that is still able to survive right now. Altair, Spective already become the dead project and more to come. It's just a matter of time until there will be a single platform that can survive in the market.
Caused by the bad trend that faced by VR project and people have already called this idea is a bit impossible to be implemented and it looks like there was no a new solid VR project that is working in the crypto integration right now.

Yes I've been trying to go back through them and figure out which projects are still active.  I've removed Altair & Spectiv - really sucks because I thought both of these projects were very interesting and had a lot of potential.

Reality Clash seems to still be building momentum.

Same goes for Decentraland - it still seems to be a viable project, however it's such a massive universe being built that I still think it's years away from a big adoption.

I could remember when the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality was making noise in the space, those ICOs that was able to raise fund for their project have yet to deliver any major milestone for their platform. I think the project has potential for not really has a stand alone product

Yes I agree!  There was so much hype and excitement 2 years ago for AR/VR based cryptos and most of them are now dead projects.  It really sucks, there was so much potential innovation happening within the cross-over of these fields.

LUCYD was a top favorite of mine and was promoting huge AR tech and talent they had acquired & compiled to build new AR glasses.  Now they sell fashion glasses with built in head phones instead of real AR glasses.  Sucks, the project had so much potential!  They are actually still around and alive, however a shred of what they once were.

The real leader in AR glasses seems to be Focals by North.  (https://www.bynorth.com/focals) However, I don't think there is any blockchain integration in their hardware yet.  Which I think is a big miss for them.  But they can always adopt it as they continue to develop out their awesome AR glasses.

And what is the use case for these tokens? To be a payment method on the virtual reality portal / service? So why we shouldn´t use Bitcoin instead of these tokens?
First thing about the use case, secondly think if someone will buy in the future the coin what you are buying .  Cool

Because Bitcoin isn't the answer for all crypto applications.  Bitcoin is awesome, but there are much better Alts to handle the field of gaming, as well as AR & VR etc.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR) cryptocurrencies on: March 19, 2020, 02:41:22 PM
So updating this topic, I think most of the projects I had listed were able to still survive.  But not all of them.

I'm getting back into crypto & I'm going to update the list.

Does anyone know of any other AR/VR cryptos that are a solid project?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR) cryptocurrencies on: March 25, 2019, 05:12:31 AM
Updated a couple more on the list.  If anyone has any to add or input on any on the list, please chime in and I'll update the list.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR) cryptocurrencies on: March 20, 2019, 06:09:51 AM
I'm obsessed with Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality and now that obsession also includes cryptocurrency lol.  So I might as well try to marry these two and hopefully cash in on the future.

So does anyone know of any tokens that are currently going on or are in planning phases to launch an ICO focused within the fields of Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality?

These are the ones that I know of that are still active and made it through the crypto crash of 2018:

LUCYD (LCD)
Cappacity (CAPP)
GazeCoin (GZE)
CryCrash (CRC)
Fantasy (FXXX)
Mark.Space (MRK)
Matryx (MTRX)
Vivid (VIVID)
Decentraland
Reality Clash
HexCoin
VIBE (VIBE)

I also think gesture control for full virtual spatial interaction within these VR spaces is going to be huge.

Things like the Myo Armband, Perception Neuron, VRGluv, Oblong Industries, they are all working on projects that compliment each other organically and when the technologies begin to overlap we will really hit a sweet spot.  Next couple of years for that I'd imagine.  They're all really advanced now.  They need to bring all of their tech together and work on one big project.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hex or Hex by Richard Heart on: March 20, 2019, 05:56:45 AM
Is the HEX Richard has been talking about lately different from the HEXCoin being offered by DJ Don Diablo?
