Ecc markets are offline on Cryptorush  Shocked

CryptoRush is dead in the water. Don't trade there... http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/03/26/cryptorush-support-worker-leaks-inside-info/

there is a massive buy @ 9 SAT here https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=ECC&b=BTC

CryptoRush is very likely dead in the water.. which is why ECC is higher there; people are buying it to transfer out of the exchange since they aren't allowing BTC withdrawals.

i'll put a note next to them in op.

Thank you for your attentiveness. People need to know so they don't unwittingly send ECC there.

Does anyone else have a problem with poloniex?

My balance is showing i have 0 coins. I have tried relogging etc, but the problem is still here.

Mine is showing all my balances, including AIRcoin.
Sorry to hear that.

Why am I getting this:

Fatal JSON error in configuration file.
Configuration file could not be used.

Ofcourse I had to copy paste configs from different sources here because I couldn't find the complete config for all files for 7970, so that's probably the problem  Smiley

My start.bat:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer.exe --kernel darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://hiro.suprnova.cc:3313 -u xxx.xxx -p x --thread-concurrency 8192 --shaders 2048 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale --auto-fan  --temp-target 74

My sgminer.conf

"xintensity" : "100",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",
"expiry" : "1",
"failover-only" : true,
"auto-fan" : true,
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"device" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "4",
"vectors" : "1",
"shaders" : "2048",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-overheat" : "85",
"temp-target" : "75",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"gpu-fan" : "40-100",
"gpu-engine" : "1040",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"kernel" : "darkcoin"

And BTW, the mining WORKS, i'm getting about 2.046M, I just don't know why those errors, if someone can explain?

Delete your conf and your bin files then run your bat again.

Also, change your gpu-fan speed to "0-85" ...it'll probably need to run less than 40% most of the time.

getting 2.2 mh on a 7970 is that ok?

That's pretty good. What are your settings?
*I'm currently getting less than that

Try with 1 card disabled for fun?

Didn't help much.
It's frustrating knowing that I should be getting 2+mh per card, but am actually getting <1.6... I hate when things aren't as efficient as they could be.
What driver are you using?

AMD Catalyst 13.4 (12.104.0.0 March 28)

I think I had quite a few issues with the drivers/cards initially, so I'd be hesitant to change drivers.
those are fairly old drivers. Im fairly confiendent your problem starts there. The newer drivers are really golden.

Golden, you say?
Which drivers are you using?
I use 13.12. It's really amazing compared to anything below 13.9. 14.1 beta isn't too good for me though

I just updated to 13.12 and now I'm running at 2+mh.  Grin
I didn't think the change in drivers would make that much of a difference but it definitely has.. 1.5mh to 2+mh

I really appreciate the help. Simply updating the driver has increased my hashrate by about 33%!
It's not necessarily that older drivers are slower or anything, there is just so many bug fixes and updated ADK and just overall smoother.

X11 probably needs some stuff in newer ADKs to work properly

Either way, I love X11. I've usually got a box fan running full blast.. now it's completely off!

Although, my 7970s still aren't quite there.. they are at 2.05-2.08, and there isn't much difference between I 13 / G 2 and I 20 / G 1 ..etc. Also, TC doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Meanwhile, my 7950s are at about 1.9.. with settings identical to scrypt mining

I made some experiments today, but G 2, TC 8192, I 13  is the best setting. Unlike scrypt, overclocking engine can increase hash speed much more.

It seems those are the best settings for me, as well. Although I changed G 2 to G 4 and it gave me like .02 more per card lol

Try g2 with i20 (I've had some actually run that way, don't ask me why, or how, just happened on like 2 rigs with 7970s). I don't usually even mention it but seems to be acting the same as those systems did for me

No dice. It's funny how all of these cards can be so different/finicky.

Rrunning 280x MSI Gaming @ 2.25 MH:

I'm running three Sapphire 7970s and can't get them over 1.6 mh each.
Also, sgminer won't load my gpu engine/mem or autofan settings.. neither through a config nor bat

I've tried the same config as you (with different engine settings), as well as many others.

Any ideas?
do you have the latest version of sph-sgminer?

Check engine clock in miner UI. Sometimes miner can not set correct frequency.
Quote

Thanks. I updated to the latest version and that has helped a great deal. Before I couldn't see temps or change engine clock/etc in UI, now I can. Also, it's now loading everything from .bats. However, I'm still topping out at 1.5xx mh per card.

I'll keep playing with the settings.. but it seems the 7970s should get similar results as the 280s with similar settings (since they're essentially the same cards, right?)

EDIT: Using the same settings I use for normal scrypt gets me max 1.5xx mh with x11 currently, whereas those settings get me 730-740mh when running scrypt.

Maybe try a g1 setting with 24k ish thread concurrency and i20

That gives me .05 mh more per card.  Cheesy
G 2, TC 8192, I 13 has given me the best performance when running scrypt with these 7970s, but I'm inexperienced with x11 and I'll definitely try whatever you suggest.

Have you (or anyone else reading) seen any difference when adjusting raw/experimental intensities?

Everyone else seems to be getting 2+mh easy.. apparently I'm doing something wrong somewhere lol

Donīt running X11 mining after scrypt. It can decrease speed. If You mined some scrypt coin, try reboot PC before running sph-sgminner. Or try reset GPU with MSI AfterBurner (litle change some setting and click Apply).

I did restart and try fresh to no avail.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin on: March 24, 2014, 04:20:56 AM
Team AIRcoin should have started their trading algorithm ONLY AFTER all early miners/nonbelievers and simply those who invested into their rigs dumped what they were going to dump or even better keep selling their AIR pool to invite dumping and getting BTC while at it. Another thing that seemed unreal is scalping. If everyone knows that coin moves up at ~5% pace then they would have just scalped to the point that there would be nothing left to developers (in this case Market Makers). I think it does
make sense to start supporting coin now. In fact I feel developers have made this announcement to speed up dumping, otherwise what does it mean that they are still supporting coin? As it stands now it makes sense to mine other coin (any alternative ), sell it for BTC and buy AIRs for cheap if one believes in these guys.
   I have to admit that I mine with my gaming rig (AMD R9 290) and never really cared about returning money that I paid for it through mining. In my mind to find best team behind a coin and
INVEST in it is more important then to buy 10 video cards and then try to make money back on those and then some, for that I have a day job. I have around 200 AIR and plan on adding more AIRcoins in future. But thats me, looks like I am in minority.

Of course you're the minority, you're a brand new account created by the devs. There's no fucking reason to buy this coin anymore or to trust the devs on ANY promise.

LOL

I've seen a couple other coins use https://www.thunderclap.it
I don't know it's effectiveness however, because the two coins for which I participated in the Thunderclap have yet to happen.

EDIT: One of them just happened.. we'll see if it creates a stir and brings new people to that coin, and if the buy support increases as a result.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - 19th Largest Cryptocoin by Marketcap on: March 21, 2014, 06:12:24 AM
wow you guys are awesome. Server is paid up until the 27th (26th for the guys over in the States) so I'll keep it running until then. Please keep your donations guys I'm not asking for handouts and I now feel terrible.

I'll set pool fee's at 0% for the rest of the week. Much love guys  Kiss

Just paying honor where honor is due...

I probably can't keep the miner there that long anyway (couple interesting coin launches coming up)
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin - 19th Largest Cryptocoin by Marketcap on: March 21, 2014, 05:42:50 AM
Well my mistake. Apologies. At any rate I'm limited to how many characters I can use for that message and rather than waste it explaining why I was shutting the pool down I thought it a better idea to let users know that it was shutting down and that they should withdraw their coins. I'm sorry that this offended you.

I only left the AIR pool running (all my other pools were shut down a week ago) to support the coin as I believe that AIR has potential. During the entire time I only collected the pool bounty twice and that amounted to a grand total of about 11 AIR. I feel I've done my part to support this community and to be called out on not being able to do it any longer is not a nice feeling.

I've been mining on pools that have just dissapeared into thin air and have taken my coins with them which might be worth your consideration. I don't want this degrading into a flame war so with that I'll say So Long and thanks for all the fish (there wasn't really any fish though Smiley )

Thanks for the good service and 0% pool fees while I was mining AIR. Sorry I didn't donate more than 1%.
Your pool was always stable and I don't remember having any issues except maybe a bit of downtime at some point. I just pointed 2.1 mhash there and set the donation to 100%.. feel free to keep whatever AIR it generates up until you shut down. (Although if you decide to keep the pool open indefinitely, I may reconsider that  Wink)

EDIT: *I mine under a different name. Hopefully you'll be able to tell which one I am by looking at the back end, so you know I'm not just blowing smoke.

Anybody running 7970s on this algo?

I'm trying to set mine up with sph-sgminer and seem to be getting it all wrong. (and I thought scrypt-n was a pain!  Cheesy)

Also, the miner isn't showing temps, shows 0.0000 difficulty, and miniscule WU
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 17, 2014, 06:05:25 PM
For anyone with Sapphire Dual-X 7970s, this is what I use:

--thread-concurrency 8193 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 800-1045 --gpu-memclock 1500 -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --gpu-powertune -10

Result: 350-370 k/h per card

*I use auto-gpu because my ambient temperature fluctuates and I like the card temps to stay within a certain range; they're targeted at 75 degrees.

**I also have 8gb ram -consensus seems to be uncertain whether this has an effect

***For regular scrypt mining, just change the TC to 8192, which will result in 730-740 k/h per card

 Grin
