Huh. so you were ready to deal with a complete newbie, send him the money without any payment/escrow/assurances, and ( correct me if i'm wrong) were offering a 50% fee (so paying 200%?)

That seems.. odd, if not outright scammish behaviour. (Chargebacking?)
