1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: December 19, 2019, 06:26:44 PM
What can I do with this 9$ worth of Bitcoin Cash to make it grow in a short time? Should I trade cryptocurrencies? How about trading bots?

Oh, maaan, another nine-bux investor here, lol Smiley
I would suggest just keeping this money in BCH or just convert it to Bitcoin - that's the best option I think, you will barely earn more with another strategy Smiley
Thanks, but that $9 talk is over. Now I'm talking about $100.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: December 19, 2019, 04:05:08 PM
Hey guys, I managed to grow it to $100 by doing some online tasks.
I can add $100 to it by buying bitcoin.

Now, is it still too small?

You can't trade with that money because the fees will eat the profits and when you deposit or withdraw the amount of fee will exceed your capital so get atleast $100 or $500 before looking for bots. You can try gambling who knows you may hit x1000 in the first bets. Wink

I have $32 in bitcoin cash.
What's the fairest casino or gambling site?
4  Other / Archival / Re: Need your advice and ideas for making money online and get out of a hellhole on: December 02, 2019, 10:59:14 AM
Thank you, but... well, you have absolutely no idea of the crippling situation here, because you're not in my shoes and have never lived in a terrible country such as here. Iran is just a little better than Syria and North Korea.
There's a compulsory military service here which would waste 2 years of my life being a slave to them without even paying a dime. There are some people claiming they would get about 8k Euros to get me exempted from that military service, but I don't know how trustworthy they are. That's a hell lot of money.
Yes, even a billionaire in his luxurious palace has his own problems. But does that mean his life is the same as the life of a poor man in a ghetto in a shithole country?
5  Other / Archival / Need your advice and ideas for making money online and get out of a hellhole on: December 01, 2019, 08:21:39 PM
TL;DR: I need to make a few thousand dollars/euros to save my life from "living" in a toxic environment. I have thought of doing multiple small jobs found in subreddits and here, but I won't make enough money doing them. I've thought about almost everything, from "inventing" a new cryptocurrency to even asking advice from the dark/deep web guys, or making an online platform, maybe a casino or a betting website or anything... but I don't know what exactly would bring me success.  Huh
What are your ideas to make money online and in cryptos from Iran anonymously?
---
I'm 25M and I've always wanted out of Iran since at least 2008, but I couldn't do anything then because my family was poor and I was too small and my parents were so worried about me.

Now that I'm right at the middle of my 20's, I look back and see that I've just wasted my life so far being forced in a toxic environment, no good universities and education, no job, no money, no professional skills, no relationships, no fun, no parties, lived like an isolated old man in his late 80's. There's terrible compulsory military service for two years of slavery awaiting me if I continue to stay here. You can read the following to learn a little more about the conditions.

https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=fa&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.com%2Fpersian%2Fblog-viewpoints-50621064

Seriously there's no future for me in this country. The environmental situation around me is so complicated to explain because probably you can't imagine it by a short post like this. Someone once said he was wondering how I can focus on my life with all the unrest, international isolation, sanctions, failing economy and everything putting pressure on me.

Once I was looking to get a student's visa to Germany, but now I realize that I can't finance myself there... and EUR has gotten extremely expensive for us. My German friends also think that being able to self-finance myself in Germany would be very difficult, if not impossible. Also, scholarships for undergrads are very rare and it's almost impossible for me to get one. They are mostly for Ph.D. students or people with a German visa.

So I'm left alone asking myself if it would be helpful to email a bunch of universities or professors in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, etc and ask them for a favor... or even publications or newspapers and magazines in order that they would bring me out for a possible job.

I have a friend in Germany but it's very difficult even to get a tourist's visa, as it's very difficult with other types of visa. Currently, you have to wait for more than a year and a half just for the embassy's waiting list (for studying in Germany).

I've looked a lot to find a job and make money enough when converted to EUR, but every time I ended up disappointed and hopeless. As an Iranian, I can't even have PayPal so the only way for me to get paid online would be by using cryptocurrencies which would bring their own unique problems if I'd ever find a job paying with that.

Some say to marry an EU citizen, but I don't know how I can find someone genuine on the internet who would be willing to have an LDR with a poor guy in Iran and to finally get married.

So you see, it looks like I'm surrounded everywhere by deadends. I can't bear "living" in this country anymore...

Do you have any advice for me? Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks again, everyone. I think I can't risk losing even this low amount of money by betting or gambling, and I have zero experience in those activities.
Trading them right now would be inefficient as you mentioned. So I'll do nothing with them at the moment.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: November 30, 2019, 03:38:55 PM
Thank you all for your replies.
I earned it by writing reviews for the website of a friend. And yes, I'm a total noob, but my situation is very complicated because I live in a hellhole country and have no future, so I'm almost killing myself to make money and leave this hell as soon as possible. To your surprise, they made a total internet blackout for a week. Can you believe it?
Now my bitcoin cash has lost its value to 8.73$ Sad but I'm going to make a few bucks more using that method I earned these so far.
What should I do now? Bitcoin cash seems to continue losing its value... and you said exchanging it is not efficient.
To be honest, I don't know anything about crypto exchanges...  Huh
The only way for me to get paid as an Iranian is by cryptocurrencies, so I can't have PayPal. Maybe there are some tricks to have one, but I'm not aware of them.

To grow in a short time?

There is no such thing as that. Don't expect an overnight big return in crypto.

Where's your BCH now? If it's already on a trading platform, convert it to BTC (around BTC0.001 at the current rate) then hold it just there (fees concern). You won't feel the profit so you need to harm your precious fiat wallet or find other sources to accumulate more BTC.

It's in the wallet from bitcoin.com.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: November 29, 2019, 08:57:01 PM
Thank you all for your advice.

Is there an easy way to quickly sell it and buy bitcoins without revealing ID's or location info? I ask these because I'm in Iran (after a week of internet blackout) and many platforms require ID's and Iranians are banned and sanctioned almost everywhere.

And 9$ is a lot in Iran Sad

EDIT: Should I believe people who say cryptocurrencies are scams?

I don't know how you will use your cryptocurrencies to get away from your country but for short period amount of time, you might get a job, and successfully get the cryptocurrency payments. In a situation, whereas Bitcoin is hardly recognized as payments options, and the condition of your county. You might need to think of how to cash-out your cryptocurrencies for maybe buy basic life support or smth. Have you ever tried localbitcoins to see whether there someone able to exchanges bitcoin with your FIAT?
Being able to exchange them is not my current concern. There would be always someone who would exchange them.
And the fact of life is that money is the power. Universities in Europe are 'free', but living there would cost about 10K EUR per year. One of my goals is to earn at least 10K EUR in BTC for that purpose to enter Europe legally and study to pursue my dreams.
There are people in localbitcoins and I'm deciding to buy from them.
Is there anyway that you can join the whale of immigrants that are fleeing to Europe and get away from anything? I believe you are in one of the countries torn apart by war and bombing.
Gone are the days when they could easily arrive and settle down. The borders are closed and it's very hard or fatally dangerous to get there and many are stuck in Greece or some other countries. Anyways I won't try crossing the borders on foot. I wish I could just teleport! just like how I can send my message to the world using the Internet.

The Services board is what you're looking for. Look through the offers, nce in a while something might work for you. Or create your own topic, be very specific explaining the skills you offer, and show examples of your work when you can. Watch out for scammers, and be honest.

However there are some (shady) people claiming they could send me to Germany or Sweden if I pay them 6000-8000 EUR, which I clearly don't have since the national currency here is riddicously cheap and worths nothing compared to EUR or USD.
Please don't join the many people who pay human traffickers (AKA organized crime) to enter Europe illegally!

I think I'd be quickly offered an asylum in a decent country like Germany if I could ever reach its soil. ~snip~ I can't even easily get a tourist visa for Germany
Add those two together, and you'll see why you can't get a tourist visa. You're not a tourist.

Thank you all so much for your understanding. Honestly I didn't expect bitcointalk to have such a kind, warm, down to earth, helpful, and understanding community.
You're clearly not a spammer, so you're welcome Smiley And that's why I've merited your posts (note that this doesn't necessarily mean I agree with what you wrote).
Make sure to read the forum rules if you haven't read them yet.
Thank you for the merits. I'll try to see if I can make something out of that board.
I understand and agree with everything you wrote. My life here doesn't worth a dime for the officials and I can't make a change in the environment by my own. It's too complicated and it gets worse everyday. I've also converted to Christianity and that alone would/could be fatal for me here.
In this forum we basically have service advertising sections.
These are sections you will find people advertising for services they offer or look for people/services to hire for projects and payment is usually through bitcoin or altcoin.
Since you are a beginner, you can first start by joining projects that are looking for people hire and then as your portfolio grows you can start advertising your services in the sections(people always trust someone who has been quite reputable and has a good past work portfolio to show)

You can check out
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0 - For bitcoin paying related services
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0 - For Altcoin paying services.

I would also recommend you use escrow services for you deals or transactions to avoid getting scammed.

There are also a couple of websites I know that require you to do some tasks such as designing code, graphics, writing blogs or find bugs in exchanges for Ether or other altcoins.
The tasks are advertised daily by different projects. Most of the projects are already established and chances of wasting your time are really very low so long as you present quality work since everything is handled by the smart contract

They Include
- https://gitcoin.co/ (Very good for a github lover)
I have used them recently and they seem awesome. You can try to look into them.
Good luck with your pursuit  Smiley

Learned a lot. Thank you so much.
What escrow service do you recommend? Do we have one in the "services board"?

So which skills do you have (or which skills can you obtain in a reasonable amount of time)? There are various marketplaces for pretty much any service that can be delivered online.

If you deem it important to be paid in bitcoin rather than in fiat currency, that will probably narrow down your opportunities somewhat, as not all potential customers and brokers will be familiar with cryptocurrency.
I can draw paintings, translate, review things like software or anything and comment on them. I also can do tech-support on Windows.
I'm afraid learning other skills like programming to be a pro would take so much time.
I can't get paid in real world currency because of all the sanctions. I can only get paid via cryptocurrencies.
What is ME? Montenegro? If you are in a country in which bitcoin is banned. I advise you not to get bitcoins since you cannot escape the law in your country. But, you can really have bitcoins if you are in a country that accepts bitcoin. An immigration could solve the problem.
It's the Middle East. I don't like to tell publicly which country for privacy reasons, but you can ask me in private messages.
Immigration is all the thing I want and ever wanted since the last ten years. I have always lived the lifestyle of the European and western people, thus I couldn't blend in with the retarded society here. I think I'd be quickly offered an asylum in a decent country like Germany if I could ever reach its soil. In fact, I wonder why I should be here when I consider how easily and quickly I would've integrated in the western countries' societies. I'm even ready to get interviewed for hours just to prove that I can be useful for the host country and society and I wouldn't live like a Lumpenproletariat. Riddicously, I can't even easily get a tourist visa for Germany from here because the passport of this country worths nothing and doesn't have any value.  Cry
However there are some (shady) people claiming they could send me to Germany or Sweden if I pay them 6000-8000 EUR, which I clearly don't have since the national currency here is riddicously cheap and worths nothing compared to EUR or USD.
OP, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Maybe you can tell us what skills do you have? Do you know some coding languages, maybe you can create websites or design for. It's examples of decent paying jobs online. If you have some skills, you can offer your services here or on some freelancing websites. Without good skills it's difficult to earn decent money. And if there are lot of websites blocked in your country, I suggest to get VPN to bypass censore.
And a bit radical question - if you don't see any opportunities in your country because situation is shitty in your country, have you thought about moving to another country?
What is ME? Montenegro? If you are in a country in which bitcoin is banned. I advise you not to get bitcoins since you cannot escape the law in your country. But, you can really have bitcoins if you are in a country that accepts bitcoin. An immigration could solve the problem.
I think that ME means Middle East. And please re-read post of OP above - Bitcoin isn't actualy banned in his country, it's not recognized and accepted as a currency.
First, I'd like to say thank you for your kindness and understanding. I appreciate it so much.
As I said above and in this post, I have some basic/intermediate coding skills with C++. I can design websites, could you help me find a platform or website to offer this service and have serious customers?
I haven't seen any oppurtunities here since I was 15... I clearly knew I wasn't made for living in this country. Life here is like a prison for me, I'm in my room behind my computer most of the time, because the outside environment reminds me of the simple things I miss in my life which are freedom, hope and happiness, and companionship. As similar to a prison cell, its so hard to get out of this shithole.
Can you give which specific country you are living in Middle East? Are you on the right age to start working? because you have said that you are still young but I like your sense of understanding the situation you are living with.

Like others advice, know your skill first while you are young and manage to improve it as you grow older. Bitcoin may not be popular to your country but time will come that it will eventually accept and recognize it soon.
I'm 25.
That is very sad to hear OP, really appreciate that you are trying to break out of this toxic system.

There are websites where one can offer jobs (redesign a website, program additional features for a tool, ... ) on a freelancer basis, the payment is done via BTC. All of those tasks require programming skills, not sure if you have them?

If not and you are interested in software development start an online course and try to learn it. This skill is needed worldwide and those jobs are usually paid very well.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your understanding.
Would you please introduce those websites? I have basic to intermediate C++ skills and I think I can improve in a few months.

Thank you all so much for your understanding. Honestly I didn't expect bitcointalk to have such a kind, warm, down to earth, helpful, and understanding community.

Hello everyone
Sadly I 'live' in a terrible country in the ME in which everything is sanctioned and LOTS of websites are banned and blocked from the inside. Bitcoin trading is banned too and the economy is crippled. There are no reasonable and acceptable jobs and I live like an outcast because the environment is toxic too. I'm still young and I have lots of dreams and hopes, so I want to make some money using cryptocurrencies behind my computer, but I don't know how I can make money. I hardly can buy one bitcoin but I have no idea what to do next.
Would you please help and advise?

If it is banned as per law then either you should leave crypto or the country. If you want to chase dreams change country if not then back off from crypto but dont go against law
I want to earn money enough to leave the country.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn Bitcoins in a crippled country? on: April 14, 2019, 05:56:14 PM
OK I may have phrased it wrong. It's not illegal to have bitcoins at all and they don't care about it. What I meant was that Bitcoin is not recognized as a payment option. I don't have any concerns regarding the things you said and it's not illegal to trade and exchange BTC.
