I have noticed my electrum wallet is version 3.2.3 while the latest version is 3.2.4.

Will uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version affect my wallet  i am worried loading a new version will wipe the slate clean.
At the moment my wallet still hasn't picked up the transaction, will updating to the new version fix this? I fear already sending the bitcoins to an old version has made me lose those coins...

Hi, last night i transferred some bitcoins from localbitcoins to my wallet. localbitcoins have confirmed the money is in my wallet, yet the transaction won't show in my history on Electrum and the wallet is empty. The transaction was confirmed at 23:11pm GMT, it is now 13:32pm GMT and still nothing, i am starting to get quite concerned.
I have contacted localbitcoins and they advised trying here. I have confirmed the address i sent to coins to matched that of my wallet.
