I'm catching up here. Is this what happened?
We were going up, someone spread some fake info, the sheep panic sold, info turns out to be fake, price stays down. Correct?
Another perspective:

We we're going down, hit the minor 540 support into a dead cat bounce, then some sheep started panic buying because of all the latest 'hot news'. Now that the hype is  over, we can resume the downtrend.

This is the impression I am getting.

Here's a little reddit repost for you guys:

http://finance.jrj.com.cn/2014/03/27101116938690.shtml[1] In this report, the reporter claimed he called a person in charge of Huobi and BTCTrade CEO, both said they have received no notice from PBOC. Currently, they are doing business as usual.

And we trust bitcoin exchange operators now because exactly why?

This looks like a bulltrap mixed with scores of misplaced optimism/desperation.

Obviously international governments can agree on one thing.  An alternative currency to fiat is unacceptable and must be stopped.  They can say whatever to make us feel free in the meantime, but it is like sheep road and sr2 being "hacked."  Better to make it look like a failed idea than to look like a tyrant.  Today or tomorrow could have been a major bitcoin shopping day akin to black friday.  Unfortunately Green Friday never was.

Even Legg Mason CIO is now buying BTC. Wall Street is starting to get involved.

Load up the BTCs while they are cheap guys!

That looks like a news article.  I only trade based on forum FUD, so i will have to ignore this bloomberg article.

Is anyone considering that a powerful operation is dead set on destroying the value of bitcoin once an for all?  International effort would be a piece of cake.

Happy st paddy's

Flying car prospect is an automatic win from my perspective.  No government is ever going to allot us this freedom.  We will have to take it upon ourselves to see that kind of liberty.

Quick thought: I'd say size has a lot to do with is... large unmanageable bureaucracies are a sociopaths dream come ture Wink

Especially when the population is divided into a million little factions.  Nobody trusts each other so cannot accomplish anything without big brothers help.  The best way to sort that out is smaller borders.

to which I say: WHERE THE HELL IS MY CHOICE TO LIVE WITHOUT A GOVERNMENT?

I am very curious what no government means to you, and why you'd want to live in a place without one. I mean, it's one thing to want less government intrusion, but are we talking less/no taxes, or are we talking no police department, no public schooling, no fire department. Where do you draw the line?

Oh yeah and about the eternal "what about the roads/fire department/schools/etc." - let's build them. Now that we have Blockchain technology and an increasingly stable currency on top of it we can build all sorts of things on a voluntary and decentralized basis at least for the reason that we don't want to be dependent on the government providing these services. Wouldn't that be a neat thing? Grow the institutions to replace the current system from the ground up. Let's plant some seeds.

Yeah, let's build them! Let's take your knowledge of building roads, my knowledge of building roads, and combined, I'm willing to bet that we'll have a total of zero knowledge of how to build roads. Since we can't do it, someone will have to. But that someone is going to want to be paid for their investment/hard work, so you'll probably have to pay tolls every few miles. Oh, wait, some people can't afford those tolls. Those people better stay home or get ready to walk it, because they're fucked.

The same logic can be applied to pretty much everything else. It's a good society...for those who can afford it. But hey, at least we don't need those poor deadbeats mooching off our roads and having police protection and shit. That's reserved for the people who deserve it. That's for the people with wealth.

Dreams and reality rarely intersect.
What? That's not an argument... that's not even logical. If people are not paying taxes then they would be able to afford the tolls... and only those that use the roads would have to pay for them. It's like you're arguing that people are being expected to work for free... that's just misleading.

Try to think of a system where everyone only pays for what they use... that what's possible with Bitcoin technology.

I cant help but find humor in the argument that people will instantly be unwilling to pay for road construction just because there is no federal government.  That shit kills me. Cheesy

Im poor, and i am ok with staying home.  Bring on the anarchism.

Shouldn't you say "bring some food and hookers" ?

Well i have guns, property with extensive gardens,  and a long time girlfriend... So dont need food or hooks.  I would trade food for ammunition and solar panels, but depending on when shit hits the fan i may not need those thing by then.

I want to know why, with a digital currency like bitcoin, the stolen coins cannot be identified and blocked from use.  If the stolen coins could be disabled, then new coins could be automatically reproduced and restored to funds?  Why does each coin not have a fingerprint of sorts?  Maybe if this idea is antithetical to bitcoin, then another company could create a competing product that was in such a way theft proof, high insurance, etc.

Just wondering.

Bitcoiners lack so much sleep that they don't need anything to fail down when they decide to finally hit the bed  Grin

could it be there is an undiscovered relation between

bitcoiners' lost nights of sleep

&

bitcoin days destroyed  ?

[just out of the Blue]

Well it is a known fact that sleeping leads to losses.

I agree.

someone is really tryiing hard to push the price past 600. but average joe is simply not buying.

I am average joe, and i am not buying this 600$ business.  We will see if it comes back to bite me, but judging by the hesitancy around 600$ here... Will just have to hold out a bit longer, maybe forever.
