How many coins does ADA have? It is inflationary, right?

at last some nice reply from pivx community - https://pivx.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/1697

so my problem is fixed, I'm the owner of my coins. I did buy pivx for long term investment (at a hype, so I'm under the line) and now I think is a good time to buy a little bit more. I did not buy pivx cause on passive income, fast transactions, anonymity, etc. I just did choose 8 most interesting crypto and invest in them.

But I'm curious why did you guys choose pivx and around what other crypto.

"But if you can see your coins on the blockchain explorer, they're yours."

Yeaa but I want just to make sure, that my wallet is accesible, and I can spend those coins Smiley

"Again, I'm no computer expert and so take my opinion with several shakes of salt, but I think your problem has to do with your computer or operating system.  Obviously I could be wrong, but maybe someone here can help you with the issue.  I can attest to the fact that PIVX core works, so it isn't that.  Anyway, I can't help you at all so I wish you luck getting access to your coins."

Thanks for your interest, but wallet is not working on 3 systems, win7, win10, linux mint. So it must be something with wallet it self, or my ISP - but i think wallet cause I can't even import blocks from hard drive.

@electronicash  "PIVX is one of the project supported by the Ubuntu community which is why this is going to be a profitable investment. it may not just be with Ubuntu later on but the whole Linux community because I think they are adding PIVX wallet on their repositories. if you have invested months ago, you would have the max profit when bulls come." yea and bitcoin wallet is support by windows, so it automatically must be a success... lol

gjhiggins  "The PIVX "official" website provides relevant links to other sidechannels in the landing page top navbar."

pivix official forum is a... joke - https://forum.pivx.org/t/pivx-installation-problem/4934 there is no help there now and even before. You need to dig to everything you self - read forums, watch youtube videos, etc.

@The Pharmacist "You never mentioned what exchange you used"

like I have wrote before - https://coinroom.com/ and there is no option for the TxId. But I have confirmation that they send it - via blockchain explorer. So now I want to set up my wallet - then I can be sure that I'm a owner of those coins.

But pivx allways crash on block 908000 when syncing with network (even when reading blocks from disc - cause I have download the bootstrap):

pivx-3.2.0/bin/pivx-qt -forcestart
pivx-qt: main.cpp:2757: void RecalculateZPIVMinted(): Assertion `ReadBlockFromDisk(block, pindex)’ failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

@The Pharmacist  "I did the same thing when I downloaded PIVX core this time.  I sent some coins to one of the receiving addresses, and they didn't show up until well over a week later when it finally got done synching.  Yep, it took that long.  I think you might just be having some technical issues, but you should still be in possession of the coins sent from the exchange."

Yea IF they send it... thats a big IF after >1< day withdrawal time  - https://coinroom.com/

Thanks for interest anyway I hope for the same thing - that after sync my pivx will show up.

@AUruHM  "Sorry, but why your choice is PivX?" Cause dash was expensive at that time and pivx seems to be reasonable alternative.

I don't invest only in BTC. I like LTC, IOTA, LSK and many more. I think portfolio diversification is important, so I have many coins on many exchanges so if one coin is going down or an exchange (like in this situation) I don't lose all crypto investment.

Anyway I did not used wallet that is more crashy and inconvenient as this one (and there are more technicaly complicated wallets like IOTA)... I think a tutorial 'how to' would be very helpful for pivx community.

Sorry the exchange was going down and send everybody a notice with ONE day window to pull out their coins. So I immediately put out some pivx. I just download 3.2.0 and immediately send coins to first wallet address it generated. I don;t even sync the wallet with blockchain.

Now when I have time, both windows 7 version and linux mint version is not working properly (and I would really like to know if the coins were send by the exchange). It just crash all the time. I did try 3.1.1 version and same thing happened. I tried to redone block downloading X times, I tried to download block bootstrap zip file but it was not working either. I tried to look for some help, but the instructions were outdated and simply do not work.

So the point is if you wana invest in pivx I would try to play with it first, and wait till all problems are fixed and everything works just like it supposed to.

I just try to install it's wallet in windows 7 and linux... and I can't.

I have tried 3.2.0 and previous versions to no avail.

No matter if I sync wallet online or by downloading pivx chain bootstrap app always crash and close it self or just display info about problem with “recalculating mined pivz”…

Hands down it’s most problematic walled I have ever try to install. Any idea how to fix this?
