6  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [AUCTION] Avalon Batch #2. In-hand, ready to ship! on: May 30, 2013, 07:50:32 PM
Correct me guys if I'm wrong, but they way I see it the increase in difficulty is the key in pricing something like this and assuming a 10% increase in difficulty per week (which seems fairly accurate at the moment) a batch 2 avalon worth somewhere around 160-180 btc depending power cost, uptime, pool fee, etc.

Does anyone happen to know that roughly how much time difference will there be between the 1st and 2nd round of deliveries? Sorry if this has been answered already, 94 pages are a bit too much to read through.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Questions for in-person BTC/cash exchangers on: July 01, 2011, 03:57:35 PM
This i how I imagine it: both of you go to a public wifi place with your laptops, you take the cash, send the btc, both parties can check the transaction and both can feel safe being somewhere public.

Haha great question Smiley
I think it'll be a kind of evolution. If there'll be lots of different chains, then "they" will just compete against each other (the resources behind them), and again early adopters will make profit. (whom will likely to be a huge subset of the early adopters of bitcoin cause they're the people following the whole fenomena closely). Have a lot more thought about this, but atm I'm too lazy to type it out Smiley
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: dont quite understand mining? on: June 22, 2011, 06:53:56 PM
"50 BTC at the moment, will be decreased in the future"

When will that happen and who will decide it? Or is it hard coded in the model based on some calculation? Please enlighten me Smiley
