1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: May 09, 2019, 04:52:12 AM
For me, it’s up to you if you can be scam on bitcoin for we have escrow that acts as the third party when it comes to products that you want to buy online because bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Sometimes I ask myself if those people that believes bitcoin is a scam really knows about bitcoin or they’re just stereotyping it as others do. I use bitcoin to buy things online and play games, and I’ve never been scam.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: May 09, 2019, 04:38:25 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin can’t be considered a religion because it’s an internet money and it’s fairly new to be considered as one. Maybe you can call the group of maximalist as a cult because it has a supreme leader who made all the rules in the name of Satoshi Nakamoto if he is just one person. For me, I consider it as a group of people who believes that our monetary system can be change to just one currency. I’m using some of my bitcoin to play some games and hodl majority of it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet the Wealthiest People in Crypto on: May 08, 2019, 03:26:36 PM
To be honest I envy those people, not because for what they are now or how many money they have now, but because of their perseverance that they've made the right decision of adopting early and hold onto it. On the early days of bitcoin, I'm just using it as an internet money to buy foods, things etc. whereas now I use it to play some games because there's a chance that i can win unlike just spending it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question to Bitcoin maximalists: What defines a ShitCoin? on: May 02, 2019, 12:28:00 PM
There’s so many characteristics of a shitcoin but here are some that I know of:

-no use in the real world/no value
-no fans because nobody knows about it
-pump and dump
-no updates by the developer
-copycat of successful coins like bitcoin
-obviously a scam

I’ve been in the cryto world long enough to know what’s a shitcoin and what’s not. Actually, if you’re a bitcoin fan everything except bitcoin will look like nothing to you because bitcoin is on the top. You can use bitcoin in almost everything, Shopping, gaming, subscriptions etc.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: May 02, 2019, 11:59:08 AM
Why would you want to know who owns those Bitcoins, this is none of anybody's business, Bitcoin was created to be anonymous by an anonymous man and we tend to keep it this way. At first I doubt that my identity will be hidden forever in bitcoin but guess what, I’m wrong and bitcoin is very secured because you don’t have to put your information there just to use it. I’m using bitcoin in my everyday life, primarily on gaming.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy apple iphone with the Bitcoin ? on: May 02, 2019, 10:39:20 AM
Yes, it’s possible. Actually, two of my friends bough smartphones using bitcoin, one iPhone XS Max and one HUAWEI p30 on an online store and it’s hassle free because their phones are delivered within the week without issues. Me, I’m hodling mine and won’t spend unless it’s for games.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Can Now Buy Movie Tickets Using Bitcoin In Brazil on: April 27, 2019, 04:20:56 PM
This is really interesting because more and more developing countries are adopting bitcoins with their daily life. I saw some countries that accept bitcoin on shops even a retail one and it’s very good for bitcoin because more and more people will use it as a substitute for tangible fiat payment. But I doubt it would make PayPal and wechat pay obsolete because those types of payment are faster than LN. For example I use my PayPal account to play some online games. In PayPal and credit card it’s an instant, while in bitcoin payment it took minutes to hours.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gab wants to make a browser rewarding you in BTC on: April 27, 2019, 09:47:56 AM
$5 a month will not do the trick. Electroneum tried it with their mobile crypto and it’s sad that it doesn’t work. I will gladly pay $5 per month to remove those ads. Most Americans and Europeans can earn that money within an hour of work and I think I will also fail. For me it’s better to play some online games to earn that bitcoin.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A team of Indians created Bitcoin on: April 26, 2019, 11:51:45 AM
It’s possible that Satoshi Nakamoto is Indian and it’s also possible that he’s American or maybe a real Japanese but one things for sure, we will not know him from the information of not so trusted people like John McAfee because he just wants the limelight of being interviewed and staying relevant because he’s running for presidential. It’s better to play some games than to listen to him.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin technology and as a currency different? on: April 26, 2019, 11:11:02 AM
As others may have say, bitcoin is both a currency and a digital asset because you can invest to it like in gold and precious stones but can spend it like a normal fiat money. I use bitcoin in some of the games I’m playing and it’s a good experience.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2019, 10:55:52 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin will reach about lowest of $15,000 by the end of the year and maybe $25,000 if we’re going to continue in this pace. Some people including John McAfee predict that bitcoin will reach about $500k by the end of 2020 and about $250k by the end of the year but I think that’s a little bit exaggerated considering how unstable the coin is right now. But I wish they’re right about their predictions so I can play more video slots at this game
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung S10 Embedded with Cryptocurrency wallet on: April 24, 2019, 10:36:17 AM
Yes and I want to buy one myself in the future. It’s already available here in our country but I don’t want to get one right off the bat because maybe some of the other brands such as Apple will adopt the crypto and start putting wallets on their iPhones too. I love to have such a hard coded crypto wallet on my device because I’m playing games online everyday.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem of getting bitcoin in the future on: April 21, 2019, 03:11:36 PM
We will have more problems on the future with bitcoin than what we’re facing right now. Specially when bitcoin go really big that it really rivals fiat money. Demographics is one of them, people age 50 and above is not that techie anymore according to some studies and we will have problem introducing bitcoin to them. This past few months, I’m educating my parents, whose age are 51 and 58, how to use bitcoin and some of the exchanges including coinbase and bittreo. They invite some of their friends to use it and they’ve got a good referral bonuses of up to 30% so they’re happy with it and at the same time educating people on the same age bracket.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is downloading money into your PC on: April 21, 2019, 02:29:22 PM
OP’s wording is not right about downloading but I get his point. “Downloading” can be a layman’s term for mining bitcoin to anyone haven’t heard anything about bitcoin mining. We leave our PCs waiting for our files to finish downloading and there’s a slight difference with mining. The big difference is we’re lending or sharing our resources when it comes to mining. Right now, I’m finding a good exchange worthy of my gpu mined coins these past years and I found this one called Bittreo that have a big OTC trade bonuses.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India declines Bitcoin Legalization Again on: April 20, 2019, 03:08:12 PM
I don’t believe that India bans Bitcoin or even illegal to use them. It’s just that they don’t want their people to use it as the primary currency because it could have an issue with their culture and their government. Both coinbase and bittreo are good exchange when you want to start doing crypto in India, or anywhere.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be used to pay for Bills, load and for travel in the Philippines on: April 20, 2019, 02:47:46 PM
I’m with you in this OP. I’m also from the Philippines and sometimes I also use bitcoin to pay for some bills when I’m short on fiat. I’m using coins.ph for my Philippines account and I’m using Bittreo for my international transfers.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Safest and Most Reliable Exchange to Sell Alt Coins ? on: April 20, 2019, 12:39:19 AM
As all of them said, Binance is always a safe choice to sell altcoins. I also use Bittreo to sell altcoins that they supported because they have a high discounts for OTC trades and it’s actually good.
