1  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Up to 1.1 EDGE free bonus for beta testers of new DAPP platform D2W.bet! on: April 20, 2019, 12:24:14 PM
Yeah that may be a drawback, but I tested for the site a couple weeks back and I won over 5 eth using the edge bonus which I think is pretty sweet.
The amount of games they have in store for the future is pretty cool as well. They only have sic bo available at the moment, but they plan to release roulette soon as well to accompany it. Would recommend to try out test out the site and leave some feedback.
Yea i really doubt that. seems like you are just a paid shill or an partner of that site
You are of course entitled to your opinion, but unless you try it how can you know if he is right or wrong?  He won 5 ETH, is not a partner and was just a beta tester.
I mean, what's the big deal, you afraid to win a little ETH for trying something new?  What's the risk exactly you are scared of?  We spent over near $2M building this and you think we care about your 0.05 ETH when we give you Edge worth 0.60 (that has an expected value of 0.37 ETH if played optimally (and a very high variance depending on how it wagered!), even a lot more if you are lucky as our friend above discovered)?  I will do a post on the math behind Edge soon and you can decide for yourself.
The people who built D2W, built blockdraw.it. We use that technology, check out the people behind it, are they crooks?  They are former gambling regulators!
We care about building the best blockchain/cryptographic solution in the world, with the best player experience and still be regulatory complaint.
Do you think all these sites that let Americans play and underage kids are going to last long?  Think again my friend...as for KYC, you have an exchange account, we do far, far, far less...we just care that you are over 18 and a real person from a legitimate location, otherwise, you are good to go!
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How FAIR are those provably fair games? on: April 20, 2019, 01:01:49 AM
Hi, actually, provably fair is not provably random.  You see all that happens in provably fair is that they pre-commit a seed before you bet and then they hash it so you can view it after.
Now that just magic...why?  Because most probably fair systems are not probably random.  Most gamblers over time start making similar bets in many games, and every casino tracks your action.
What this means is that they can, in many cases, guess what a player wont bet (at the least).  And this means they can pre-commit a seed that you are not likely to bet - and you may not even know it!
Some new casinos in Blockchain are using provably fair and random peer-to-peer cryptographic solutions.
