Thank everybody it looks like this worked bc sent to my electrum wallet unconfirmed correct bal. I guess it takes a little while before it is actually confirmed

Thanks for your help so far. I have downloaded electrum wallet(from legit site)already so I don't know how to get into the pages to change address ie script type and derivation path. when I try to download 2nd wallet it aborts instillation

Thank you guys  I am very new to this and not computer savy  at all Could you give me directions on creating a legacy address or a source I could refer to Electrum was the first wallet I tried but the address did start with bc1

I purchased bitcoins from localbitcoin. I received the bitcoins and they are in the localbitcoin wallet. I want to send these bc to my desktop wallet. I ve tried electrum and wabasi wallets but localbitcoins error message is invalid address. I also checked this on cointool address verification and als was invalid address Any help getting these bc from lbc to my desktop is appreciated
