1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam - Fake Tradingview Phone Calls on: August 19, 2019, 10:54:17 AM
Scam Alert - Scammers Pretending To be Tradingview Officials. Scammers try to offer to sell products or to make investments.
They are doing this by phone calls. If somebody calls you from tradingview it's fake because tradingview does not call their customers!

We just need to ignore them. These phone scammers are always improving their techniques and tricks along with times. Since more than 5 years ago, I have read thousands of reports and warnings aboutphone scams at complaint board sites like http://whycall.me.

I have used some of those ATMs and never get any problems so far. I believe it's absolutely a system's malfunction.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India amazes me!Indian police recovered multi million scam on: June 09, 2019, 01:11:26 PM
This is what the law inforcement should do, as cryptocurrency keeps on growing we can't deny the fact that the number of scammers also increases not just in india but also in other countries. India police really did a good job.

Indians have experience with scammers because scamming is one of the most popular ways of making money in India. Ever heard of Indian IRS scammers or fake Microsoft support from India? If there's so many people doing it the police must have special task forces for that.

Not long ago they found that government officials were taking bribes in cryptocurrencies. If they don't do something about it the country will be an even greater shithole in a few years.

Yup, this scam is the most known Indian scam. Even today I get several calls from those scammers using 301-830-6828. After I Googled up the number, I found that many people have reported the number as scam at https://www.whycall.me/301-830-6828.html since last year. India's law enforcement should do something harder to crack down all of those scammers!

I'm also new to cryptocurrencies, but if I should answer this question, I think I will say that everyone needs to do his/her own research before investing any amount of their money to crypto. At least that's what I did.
