2  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: August 10, 2022, 11:41:12 AM
tl;dr

What i have in mind, soon as ancient people learn that they can trade things with their own value like barter, discovered gold and silver or other precious stones/stuffs, people start betting and learn gambling on their own way.

It's difficult to know things like this especially for a question of "when" for a timeline since its now a history, although the "where" like the origin of some form of gambling might be a little easier.

It's quite fantastic right? As soon as they know that things can be traded, There are this people will come up in the new ideas. But i think in the early era of gambling for sure there are a lot of loop holes that smart people uses or like trick the players. But now gambling is really pure luck well that is because of the technology we have right now.

Imagine using a time travel machine and going back to the past (which can't be happen cause you can't time travel in past) And bring a device that can trick all this gamblers, you can build your own empire.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: August 10, 2022, 07:35:56 AM
Im newbie in trading it is really hard to choose what margins if I will be in high or low margin. Due of not consistent value of the price I've doubt in myself if will learn in trading . One of my friend traders tell me more about trading and he just said to me that I must read more the sequences of trading and observe the graphic.

Until I learn little thing regards in trading , cause trade it's not a consistent it is just an analysis of us. Being a traders I'll become flexible and to be risk taker no matter what I've lost in my traded.

Being a risk taker doesn't benefit you all the time, but being flexible is really good. If you know to yourself that the trade your doing is good then go for it. But then if you feel like it ain't gonna do good, don't ever risk it.

Since that you said yourself that you are newbie does being a risk taker will bring you more knowledge? I sincerely suggest instead of being risk taker why not just instead learn the market ? Become more knowledgeable in trading. That'll benefit you more.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Wallet Hack " How to Protect Your Funds on: August 10, 2022, 04:58:23 AM
It's very hurting when we lose funds without making any mistakes. I never move my funds from my hardware wallet unless I want to sell my coins. Here is an investor one should have a Hardware wallet to secure its coins from hackers as I believe hardware wallets are the most secured wallets as compared to other wallets in my opinion. I must say one must have a hardware wallet if he is a holder or regular crypto trader to secure his funds. I hope soon we will come to know what is the cause of hacking and how they make it possible till then we have to wait.
Agree with you mate, this hackers are actually evolving day by day and finding ways how to become more creative about their hacking craft. No one is safe in the crypto space. But what investors can do is be more knowledgeable, be more cautious and always think ahead.

You never know if you were talking to a hacker cause they really mastered social engineering. I hope solana do more about their ecosystem. Become more safer and much more protected.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good idea how to make profit on: August 10, 2022, 03:31:30 AM
So if grayscale is one of tge biggest whale they know when and how market moves.
Then lets collect money and pay them and other big whales to give us correct info
I think if we pay them each month 500,000$ that will do

Wht u think ? Merit for sure good innovative idea here
500,000$ Is a lot of money and also we are not sure if this whales really know when is the next pump. And i am really shookt 500,000$ monthly is really a big money and also you are not even sure if you can make that kind of money every month.

For me in my perspective this is not a good idea, i will be learning instead paying 500,000$ a month to those whales. Learning is good, and knowledge is power in the world of trading.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: August 10, 2022, 01:51:55 AM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?
Actually if you are a gambler the value of crypto to you is like doesn't affect much you very because in gambling you can win more like 2x or 3x, And imagine you win that and weeks later the value pumps there's nothing wholesome with that right ?

You are right indeed, gambler are focus more on their gains and not in the value of the bitcoin. And also just to add there are game streamers right now who play gambling the most famous one is XQZ.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: August 09, 2022, 05:13:24 PM
As a newbie one finds it difficult to know the right time to invest. I really want to know if I can actually invest into Bitcoin at this moment.

Well to be honest the decision is with you, I am so sure that you are aware that bitcoin all time high was like around 69,000$ And right now if you check the market bitcoin is 22,000$. If you have some like extra cash that you can afford to lose if then buying bitcoin right now is the best move.

Don't buy any crypto if the money you gonna use is borrowed or like loan. Crypto-currency is really unpredictable.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: August 09, 2022, 11:59:00 AM
Well to be honest there is no way you won't suffer any loss from crypto trading. Even the people who learn years about trading still face some losses. In fact no matter how play safe you do, you will still end up some loss. But being knowledgeable in trading is really good.

Also to be added, there are no tools existed nowadays that is so perfect that will give you everyday win. At the end of the day its either you win or you lose.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Squid Game' cryptocurrency scams $2 million on: August 09, 2022, 08:14:56 AM
I found out about this coin from an article which did exaggerate about it.
after I saw and looked at it, it turned out that the hype started to enter as a result of the popularity of this Korean film Cheesy
on the other hand I also wanted to follow this fomo but I realized this was the wrong thing.
and now it happened, and those who had entered there should have known the risks would be like this.
so this is the end of this meme coin don't scream because they are gone because surely you already know the result will be like this
One of my friend told me this coin about the film squid game from the famous korean series. It's funny cause i almost bought this and then realized that this is just hyped coins and in a mili-seconds the founder can dump a lot of this token, I actually feel sorry for those people who buy this meme or what they called shitcoin, for sure they were surprised aswell when the value drops. Well i guess the saying is true "Every mistakes has a lesson"
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: August 09, 2022, 05:02:52 AM
Can I have a precise and constructive answer on whether trading is really worth spending time on? My brother wants to do this job for a living, and I'm just curious if it's a dignified, worth-spending occupation. I don't know where to ask, I don't understand technical analysis; when he explains it to me I feel it's some sort of gambling strategy.

I've used to read experts' discussions, papers, books and the like, but I find no such stuff on trading. It's a very vague term anyway. Are there really people who just "buy low and sell high", making a living by just doing that? I can't comprehend how can a person seriously make a living by something that looks complete gambling, instead of providing goods, services, work etc.

One thing for sure trading is really worth the time. But also trading requires knowledge so you need to learn all the candles, when to take profit and when to stop loss. Once you have some knowledge in trading i am so sure that it can give you everyday a profit, but always remind that there are some losses aswell so ready your emotions with that. My friend do trading full time and right now i can say he is financially secured.

And also buying low and sell high is one of the term that traders use for new traders, sounds easy but i swear its really more than what you think.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: August 09, 2022, 03:15:20 AM
To what i think on my own view i don't know if i can get more knowledge and understanding to this.
You just have to understand the market, you need to be able to study and know when it’s a right time for you to invest and withdraw your crypto currency. And also remember only invest money you know you can make back even if you lose the money.

I think even understanding the market is not enough, also there is no such tool's that can give you like always a win trade. Trading is like a gambling, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. What in those two where you will end up? And always only afford what you can lose. Trading requires year's of knowledge in able like to made more wins than losing. Other's always think that crypto is the one gonna make them rich, well for sure others do become rich with trading, but i am so sure not all of them made it to the top.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Nigeria new law on Crypto ban within the country on: March 06, 2021, 03:31:51 PM
Nigerians are smart, but I don't know about their own government. Besides, digital currency is not controlled by any government and as far as I know, Nigeria is not generally banned from using crypto, but there are restrictions. The government has made it difficult for banks to transact directly with crypto. For now, Peer to Peer transactions is going to help them with this issue.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is only high demand causing the long transaction time? on: February 25, 2021, 12:34:30 PM
Is only high demand causing the long transaction time
Probably because of the congestion of the bitcoin network. If there are more transactions, the longer the transaction will take and be completed. Including the transaction fees in bitcoin can also affect the transaction time. It would be better if they can come up with a solution for this issue. Like, if the block size is larger that can handle more transactions per block.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Cryptocurrency is not legitimate money,' says Nigeria's central bank governor on: February 25, 2021, 08:11:39 AM
CBN could've just done something better to tackle their suspicions instead of banning it. If CBN continues to take defensive approaches, it will certainly never work in the long term. Also, I see no valid reason to ban crypto in Nigeria. Are they just out of ideas about how to handle this issue strategically?

It seems like the Nigerian government doesn't want their people to make money from crypto. Besides, people will always find their way for solutions.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to investment strategy BLSH? on: February 23, 2021, 02:30:49 PM
Buy Low, Sell High is part of being a trader on the market. BLSH seems to be quite risky as the nature of the market is unpredictable, and there are a lot of factors to consider. We should be very familiar and good at reading the graphs. Learning to recognize the dips and highs of the market will determine your success in making a profit.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Owning One BTC In 2035 Will Make You A Millionaire on: February 12, 2021, 12:35:15 AM
Well, the price of bitcoin is incredibly volatile, so short-term losses or long-term gains are expected even in usual conditions, and predicting the future is quite a challenge. But again, your wise financial advice can help. Bitcoin has been performing well. People that already own bitcoin are going to make money off it. A lot of people are really optimistic that this will grow in value in the coming years. We can expect to see an explosive year for bitcoin.

Personally, I think bitcoin is and will soon be the most desirable asset in the world.
You're supposed to buy when it drops, hold, and don't sell. Everyone should start doing something now if they want to be successful.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you expect from ChainLink? on: February 11, 2021, 01:57:19 PM
In my opinion, Chainlink was a great project with a tremendous potential to develop into one of the big crypto-space projects. It's going to have a massive leap when everyone least expects it. The biggest names in crypto use Chainlink as a key component of their technology. But, I think it's early to tell how Chainlink can contribute to further adoption in our daily lives, but let's see.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Ruffer scores $750 Million profit from Bitcoin on: February 11, 2021, 07:29:03 AM
Congratulations. Remember last November 2020, when its company invested around 2.5% of its assets to bitcoin. Can't believe in a short period of time their profit becomes $750 million. It's well done just how they can manage to do not in 2 months.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did the word "crypto" become so popular? on: February 11, 2021, 06:26:47 AM
I guess after Bitcoin reached its first ATH in 2017, some mainstream Media started referring to ALTs like XRP and ETH by the abbreviation of crypto. I started hearing crypto from that time, though I may be wrong this is my opinion.

Right, I agree with you. Back in the year, 2017 when bitcoin reached $20k, that's when the time the word crypto abbreviation became popular. And I guess people tend to create a shortened form of the word because it's much easier to read and write.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase IPO on: February 11, 2021, 02:20:21 AM
Coinbase has been around since 2012, but its number one and major issue is customer service. There are a lot of complaints that they were unable to answer despite countless emails and social media messages. Hoping they resolve this issue. Coinbase IPO sounds exciting as it may sound, but they have no respect for the people who keep them in business. There is no live phone support, only an automated menu with a single option. Mostly automated responses and limited choices. Also, their fees are unreal.
