In the long run, this will likely happen and the hype and buzz surrounding Ethereum DEFIs should help sure up the price exponentially until it attains stability. With Ethereum DEFIs the world is finally coming to terms with blockchain and that is surely going to witness a massive influx of new I vestors thus, leading to better price growth and appreciation. This is already happening!

Most people doing this are only falling for the emotions of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) which is never a good idea or thing to do. It is mostly associated with people who are new to the market and more often than not, they get burnt in the process. The basic rule is, for every pump in price, there must be a correction which means a pull back in price. This is the best time to invest or buy any cryptocurrency. However, people let their emotions get the better of them and most times, the consequences are devastating.

Hopefully this is a sign of a strong bullish season and finally usher in another era of crypto boom like we experience back in 2017/2018. The industry has waited long enough and in that time, a lot of people lost interest in crypto with some labelling it a sham and scam. A bullish season will help kick things back into shape and get everyone believing again.

Not necessarily altcoins but half baked projects and redundant projects with no value to offer. The crypto industry and market has been littered with these kinds of projects bringing about a loss of interest in most altcoins and attention shifted to the other bigger and more stable cryptocurrencies. It is quite understandable that people will lose interest in some crypto projects.

I have zero belief that any of the above kills a project. Airdrops and bounties get introduced and used as a marketing and community growth tool for a reason and they work effectively. Any project that cites a reason, accusing Airdrops or bounties as a reason for their failure simply hasn't done enough to develop the project sufficiently.
