what are the reason why you think this coin would pump?
Currently, it's already up by 12%, but its not the pump yet.. at this point, it's really hard to expect some pump from the altcoins since bitcoin now is quite stable, the hype of bitcoin could already be over and altcoins will then slowly to go back down trend.
great chance for alts when btc keep stable Lol, we have been saying this for days but Bitcoin keeps stable and many Alts continue to dump. Bitcoin pumps, takes more dominance and it gets worse for Alts. I hope Alts get back on their feet too lol.

Also, impose bans on account sales on Bitcointalk, so people don't buy accounts to bypass restrictions on Newbie users that are there for a freaking reason <...>
How can anyone impose bans on account sales? Admins definitely don't have the time to investigate all of the 2 Million+ accounts here, and people sell these accounts all across the internet. <...> Over 70% of registered profiles have never even posted on the forum and more than 159,000 profiles are banned. So the number of accounts that could potentially be for sale is far less than 2 millions. And in my opinion, trading of Bitcointalk accounts can be forbidden on the forum itself with no difficulty. and you think majority of the account sales happen on forum here?...no one would even dare do that since they're afraid of being known and getting banned...ah well, i can't tell if those who do sell accounts openly on this forum get that many buyers lol buh as the OP said...the sales happen at many places..(there's like a circus for that) so it's still difficult to track.

It was a good decision you made buddy. You needed it for your personal stuff so don't feel sorry for yourself. So far as you're still in the game, there are other opportunities for you to earn.

If only you could have access to IEO purchase, then I think that's the best time to buy because after listing, the jungle run begins...you could be "eaten" within seconds and it's dangerous to trade if you're a novice in it.

The number three you talked about is also the main reason why other people who post constructively don't make it up there. Why? Because they weren't so lucky like you to gain some merits in their first month or two (either they weren't recognized or don't have friends to help them with that).
But should one be lucky to get some merits, they start spending and then they make friends and then the circulation enters a continuum. The merit system is good and works fine but it creates an "unconscious/unnoticed/unrecognized" circus which escapes many of us.
Other than that, your other points sounds good to me. Thanks for sharing though!

Cryptos are such that the parabolas work in perfect harmony and synchrony. The wider your Bollinger bands, the higher the bounce back rate. Ethereum had a crazy bloodbath of late and it shall bounce back at an even higher rate. Just watch it! That's what the crypto markets do.

You know what I think, sometimes I believe these statements are just some mere coincidences with the normal price fluctuations of the market we're in.
The current market trend showed money was been recycled within amongst ourselves in crypto and not that much from retail mainstream. The mainstream could've caused a panic sell if they were already trooping in so I wouldn't correlate this price movement to his statements.
We those already in the game don't care about what negative thing he says. This too shall pass!! we've seen even worse than this.

Vitalik's suggestion that Eth merge with Bitcoin Cash is not helping with clarity either.
But will this merger be just marketing related or will the blockchains be merged? Neither. My understanding is that running Ethereum on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain network is a short term bandaid to handle scaling to give more time to Vitalik and the team to come up with a true solution. If I understand that right (and that's a big if) then seems to me that this would dilute the brand at a very risky time and confuse an already cloudy space. I don't think it would be good for price, and since it is stated as a short term fix I don't think it would be good for the Ethereum network in general. There is also always the danger that this short term fix could become permanent, as they so often do and the long term scaling issue never truly goes away. lol, may be you're thinking it can crash the price but remember the ecosystem system we're in if full of people who're in for the money, and then the tech comes second. Should the merger be true, both coins can skyrocket probably in the near term, just that the future will however be skeptical and will as usual depend on one thing- the survival of Bitcoin (which is the survival of cryptoverse). Secondly, we should look at the benefits of it making ETH/BCH scalable. If that could work, then i think it is a good move.

Trump is a good businessman! He knows what he's doing!
I think both of those statements are demonstrably false. Well I don't think so. For a businessman, yeah he is but for the latter, that's quite arguable because you may not actually know the intents of people. To the OP, yeah we're not supposed to be shaken by his negative sentiments. Actually, Crypto has already seen worse from these "people" so I don't really give them much of my attention. I focus on how to make it in the cryptospace other than worrying about when it'll die.

The massive volatility and pump and dumps that occur with crypto has shown that many people are in for the money and not the tech. Hence even though we may see ALTs as not having performed very good, people will always follow it once they can make money outta it. So such people don't see ALTs as useless.

Altcoins are definitely gonna make a comeback somehow. Fact is that, Bitcoin drives the market all the time and hence whatever happens, ALTs will follow sometime later and i presume ALTs are gonna be awesome in the real bull season now that they've dumped real hard against Bitcoin pump. Atrend reversal if any will be huge. .real huge
