The developers of Digibyte will do an AMA with focus on the importance of Cryptocurrencies, this Friday the 21th at 11 pm GMT
The term AMA is short for Ask Me Anything. The thread will be posted at /r/AMA by /u/digibytedev, and also crossposted here as well as other relevant subs. We look forward to introducing cryptocurrency as a whole to people who haven't heard about it before.
Make sure to spread the word and prepare some questions! Also please suggest relevant subreddits we could post to!

Everyone, we have grown our reddit community quite a bit since helping the shibes! We need more to welcome them on /r/digibyte, by answering questions and maybe doing giveaways. Also I think digitipbot is down, which is bad now that people actually want to use it! Good work guys  |

The Digibyte account should introduce himself on the Dogecoin thread. Could bring more people over here  Just thinking the same, Or a thread/article explaining whats been done between the two coins to promote not only the partnership but both coins. Great to see the support on reddit Big +1. |

I suggest someone makes a dogememe showing the collaboration between digibyte and dogecoin. This should be posted on reddit (dogecoin, digibyte and cryptocurrency) and upvoted so we can gain some traction on that front. Maybe the picture could be two leaders shaking hands, with their heads as dogecoin and digibyte symbols. I can do something like this myself but could use some suggestions  Edit: I'm in Europe so headed to sleep now |

Multipools giving us some love? Difficulty 66.01801461 with a net hash of 3500 MH/s which is 6 times the average rate.
And once again DigiShield performs marvelously and deters the hash jumpers right away! Sure does, all back to normal now so that's why the difficulty always jumps like crazy. that is some weird stuff.. Yes it does, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. In fact in works so well we are talking with the Dogecoin devs to potentially help them implement something similar. Would Dogecoin implementing Digishield benefit the Digibyte community? If so, how? Digishield getting credit for warding of the multipools off dogecoin would be a huge PR boost. When other coins look at dogecoin and sees the succesful anti-multipool system, they will be tempted to implement the same. All leading to Digibyte getting recognition. |

Slow and steady doesn't win the race in the cryptocurrency world, at least not any more imo, you will fall behind and be forgotten when new coins come out that have unique features and are able to build a large solid community quickly. At least a handful of coins have been released after Digibyte that have become a lot more successful, i like Digibyte and am still mining it atm but the price isn't rising, and more miners are jumping off daily. Multipools were not causing the problem, the problem is we have a small loyal community that isn't getting any bigger.
That's what it looks like in the short term, but in the long term all that matters is the community and the developers. Digibyte has some very dedicated devs imo. We have to grow our community though, and i'm hoping the devs are looking into helping with that. All i can say is that it's our job as well, if we want to succeed. |

In my opinion the best case scenario for any coin, is to get volume and followers not by bribing its way up, but genuinely demonstrating why it is better. The best way we can get on cryptsy is for us to be recognized as a coin they would miss out on by not adding.
I don't understand your hesitation to get on a major exchange before building a quality community. If your goal isn't building something special, something inspiring, then all i have to say is happy pump 'n dump.

Kudos to Emdaer for starting this Reddit post: http://redd.it/1zjl66If you take a look at that thread... the last comment (by Jasper1984) seems to give a very good suggestion: a whitepaper. I think you guys should look into making one soon, that would add on to the DigiByte promise of being a professional coin. Also, having a whitepaper is a big plus, especially to represent the coin to investors! Infant Coin = more attractive returns = higher chance of getting investors/speculators/whatever you wanna call it, maybe Angel Investors if you will.  Our biggest weakness is, in fact, our greatest strength! Yes! The fact that we are an infant coin or sleeper if you will, is a very strong incentive to invest. Everyone looks back at bit coin, litecoin etc. and wish they had gotten in earlier. We have the potential to grow big. We just have to make everyone else know! |
