Not having much luck with lolminer.  I added the following customer parameter:

-- tls 1

That is not a parameter. You shold have written
  --tls 1

"--" by itself usually means "end of parameters". That's why lolminer says it can't find coin, algo or pool.

I am afraid to say, that the native overclocking is pretty much unusable at the moment.

If you have let's say 60x1080ti cards from 10 different manufacturers. You are able to overclock some a bit more than the others. Even within the same model and manufacturers, some cards simply have more silicon or are better made. Thus, if you have cards from multiple manufacturers or different models on the same rig, there's absolutely no way that you can use different overclock settings for each of them.

If you use clocking profile groups, you can NEVER specify a single card, considering that the matching rule options are way too wide. By setting a rule, you are bound to use the settings for cards that you do not want the settings to be used for. Using PCI Id SubDevice as a matching rule would sort this out.

I have 3 rigs, each 12 cards. All of them are 2070 supers from MSI. Still, some can be pushed more than the others. There's literally no way that I can overclock each card on each rig separately and make the settings stick after the reboot.

I also do not understand the necessity of using overclocking profiles. Sure, it's a nice feature to have, but why there simply isn't an option to just overclock the rig, each card however you want, save it, check an option to apply everytime the miner starts and be done with it.

Instead you have to overclock it, save profile and then apply profile in different menu. This way it takes much more time, complicates everything and after a few months you are stuck with hundreds of overclocking profiles and it's simply a mess. And even that profile doesn't apply to the entire rig, merely to 1 card.

I really don't get it.

Then why don't you use MSI afterburner and overclock each card individually there? Save it and use apply on startup and be done with it.
You don't need to use Awesome Miner to overclock. I really don't see the problem...

Awesome Miner version 6.6.5

 Integration
  - Support for the new Nicehash mining platform. To change to the new platform, go to the Options dialog, Profit switching section and enable 'Use new Nicehash platform'. See the Nicehash web site for more details about how to sign up on the new platform.

Seems the new nicehash stuff is working ok. But it doesn't yet seem to have the profit as the old one.

Would it be possible to have the old and new nicehash as two different pools/providers? Then AM could
switch to the NH pool which is more profitable. You could label it NH and New NH. (And then just remove (old) NH when it closes)

Hi Patrike,

Feature request...

Would it be possible to allow benchmarking multiple rigs simultaneously when using remote agent? I have two rigs with dissimilar equipment, requiring that they be individually benchmarked. I have a profit profile for each rig. I would like to be able to open multiple benchmarking dialogues at the same time, each one for a specific rig.

Thanks for your consideration,
...jim

I have no problem opening and running multiple benchmarking simultaneously (on Win10).
What kind of problem do you see/have?

hint: select miner1, click "benchmark". select miner2, click "benchmark", and so on.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: March 08, 2019, 05:53:39 PM
Hi patrike,

When updating to the new version, all the benchmarks have been deleted. Only the best benchmark of each algo has been saved  Shocked
That doesn't sounds good - I will investigate this. Thanks for letting me know.

Anyone else experienced the same issue?

Havn't seen this myself.
Could it be that an old config/backup has been restored if the config.xml file is barfed - e.g. after a crash?
Would this be written to the log with the default settings?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: March 04, 2019, 07:17:03 AM

The idea of running in parallel is also interesting, but it would require Awesome Miner to understand which GPU's are identical in terms of memory and clock to make it fair.

Fair point.
Maybe you could leave that up to the user.

Simplest solution: Run X parallel benchmarks on GPU 1 to X. (where you somehow select X)

More advanced: select specific GPUs to run the benchmark.
Maybe instead of having a "ComboBox" to select a single GPU (or all), make it more like a "CheckBoxComboBox" to allow multiple selections.
This could also allow the user to run "normal" benchmarks on several specific GPUs.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: March 03, 2019, 08:47:22 AM

I agree that that usability for the benchmark can be improved and I know other users had similar suggestion in the past.

Speaking of benchmarking, I have a suggestion:

In the benchmarking window - would it be possible to select an algo/miner (and pool) and hit a button "Diagnostic".

I think this would make it easier to find problems, Often the profit switcher has changed to another algo
(or the pool is disabled for no accepted) and it could be a hassle to make sure the diagnostic will start with
the correct algo/miner.

BTW: Have you considered making benchmarks run in parallel? (on multi-gpu rigs)
Like running X16r with 3-4 different miners (exe) simultaneously to get more accurate speed comparison
- or just speeding up the benchmarking in total.

It looks like a known issue according to the Gminer thread. It works fine to mine on Nicehash for a while, but then you run into errors.

But is it possible for AM to report/use 'total_accepted_shares' when there is no accepted per device?

gminer's /stat:
{"uptime":59,"server":"stratum://beam.usa.nicehash.com:3370","user": "X.Y","algorithm":"Equihash 150,5 \"Beam-PoW\"","electricity":0.004,"total_accepted_shares":14,"total_rejected_shares":0,"devices":[{"gpu_id":0,"cuda_id":0,"bus_id":"0000:01:00.0","name":"EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB","speed":31,"temperature":73,"temperature_limit":90,"power_usage":256}],"speedRatePrecision":0,"speedUnit":"Sol/s","powerUnit":"Sol/W"}
Thanks for finding this one. The official API is not returning this information, but the data used by the Gminer web interface that you point to here do include it. I will make use of this information about shares.

Seems the gminer problem is just for beam - for zhash the api reports accepted_shares per device.

{"uptime":60,"server":"stratum://zhash.usa.nicehash.com:3369","user": "X.Y","algorithm":"Equihash 144,5 \"auto\"","electricity":0.004,"total_accepted_shares":2,"total_rejected_shares":0,"devices":
[{"gpu_id":0,"cuda_id":0,"bus_id":"0000:01:00.0","name":"EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB","speed":95,"accepted_shares":2,"rejected_shares":0,"temperature":72,"temperature_limit":90,"power_usage":261}],"speedRatePrecision":0,"speedUnit":"Sol/s","powerUnit":"Sol/W"}

BTW: They just released 1.25 which should fix the nicehash nounce problem.

Could you please try again? The problem was that http got redirected to https and json consumers not always handle that.
Good idea to also switch to https if possible Wink

@patrike please force all communications to wtm to use https.

It works right now and seems to work most of the time with http. But sometimes it is 308 redirected to https.

6.1.2 AM-Anybody else having trouble with statistics, coins all blank values? Tried multiple variations of providers, one at a time and all checked and nothing is updating. Every once in a while it will come back
with some values but very seldom. Was working perfectly one version previous.
yes, since the upgrade it appears to be broken for some reason
The latest version was made available about 16 hours ago, but about 4-5 hours ago (about the same time you posted here) I got a number of e-mail messages about this issue and I was getting the impression that not everyone was on the latest Awesome Miner version either.

I wonder if the BTC exchange rate via Coinbase was zero.

I cannot see this issue right now. Please let me know if you still have this issue? If you do, please go to the Options dialog, Statistics provider and change from Coinbase to Bitstamp to see if that changes anything.

I Have the same problem. Then I get update, all miners switch to nicehash, and on coins pannel I can,t see any coins. I go to statistic providers and disable echange filter. Then i can see coins, but not all. For example I have no ZCOIN any more. Coinbase to Bitstamp have no effect
I just noticed that https://www.coincalculators.io/ is offline, which can explain at least a number of these issues.

I haven't seen the problem for an hour now, so it's difficult to see the problem.
But I noticed these in the log. I think they may be related? (They are from an hour ago)

Hi,

I'm trying to update from 6.0.9 to 6.0.10 but it fails everytime.
Here is the log

Hi. Can you please try to reboot the system once? It's not too uncommon that pending Windows Updates are preventing MSI-based installers from running correctly.

Thx for support, I had a pending update, I rebooted twice but still the same issue, even with the 6.0.11 version.  Sad
Thanks for the update. Can you please try to manually download and run the installer to upgrade to the latest development version?
Main application: https://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMiner.msi
Remote Agent: https://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi

No problems for remote agents on my miners.
But on my computer the main application installator give me this post.

The same if I try to uninstall AM.

The problem is uninstalling the old version.

From the FAQ https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/ :

Unable to upgrade or uninstall the software

The Awesome Miner installer is based on the Windows Installer concept, where the
uninstallation requires Windows to keep track of the installed software. In case
Windows is unable to perform an upgrade or uninstallation, please use this tool
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed
from Microsoft to force the removal.

Just a shot in the dark;
Is the miner program 32-bit?
And you tried to install vc 64-bit (but already had it installed)?
Does it work when installing vc 32-bit?

As you can see I have the latest version of AM, I had previously in version 1.22 but I have removed it and I have put the URL of the version z-enemy 1.24 that appears in the box. Look at the catches, I have 1.24, but when you mine in the rig, it continues to mine with the 1.22. How can I solve this? I'm very interested in the version 1.24 for its features for RTX, and also to know how to fix these errors in the future, I do not know how to make AM mine with Z-enemy 1.24

This is on a remote miner?
You probably have a custom miner that you manually have uploaded to your remote miner.
Check your custom miners under mining software and enabled miners in your profit profile.

Hint: Remote Service uses automatically downloaded miners from "...\Appdata\Roaming\AwesomeMinerService"
and manually uploaded miners in "...\AppData\Local\AwesomeMinerService\UploadedSoftware"

Hello,

Run Batch commands before starting miner HELP.  I am trying to run a OverdriveN Tool batch file to set OC and voltage.   The file runs perfectly on the machine if i launch it.  But when i try from Managed Miner Properties>batch Commands>Execute additional commands before starting the mining software.  It appears to open and close the .bat never allowing it to complete and apply the OC Profiles. I must need some type of wait command.
My command
C:\Users\XXXX\Desktop\OverdriveN\RUNONT.bat

Thanks.

@Patrike

Did you forget to specify the full path to your .exe in the bat file?
Windows doesn't magically know where your exe is.
Or you could add this to the top of your .bat file (if your .exe is in the same folder):

cd %~dp0
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: September 27, 2018, 04:10:18 PM
awesomeminer adds a extra x16r when mining x16r , this causes the miner to fail.

this is what it looks like:
t-rex-0.6.10-win-cuda9.1_1\t-rex.exe  x16r -a x16r -o stratum+tcp://X16R.eu.nicehash.com:3366 -u xxxxxxxxxxxx -p x --api-bind-http 0.0.0.0:4028

You should probably check your config. AwesomeMiner will (most likely) not do that by itself.
Check your (user) command line parametres under Online Services and also under Managed Software.

The command lines I get in AM 5.6 are:
"[...]AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\t-rex-0.6.10-win-cuda9.1_1\t-rex.exe" -a x16r -o stratum+tcp://x16r.eu.nicehash.com:3366 -u xxxxxxxxxxxx -p x --api-bind-http 0.0.0.0:4028
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: September 04, 2018, 07:32:29 AM
Small issue when using the built in update.

If updating AM while a miner is running, after the update and AM restarts, it does not see that there is already a miner running and starts a new instance of a miner.

I have also noticed this for the last two dev releases.
The problem seemed each time to be with remote agent (win) and t-rex.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: August 23, 2018, 01:05:11 PM
His problem is that day, where he has the rigs is a workshop, and he can not have access to all the energy to run the rigs at 100%, and he wants to lower the OC so that the workshop and the Rigs work. And then at night increase the OC to the maximum you can to maximize income.

I suppose this kind of situation will happen to many people. It does not have to do with the price of electricity, only with electricity availability when sharing electricity with a house, a workshop etc ...

Have two profit profiles - with different OC/GPU settings. (the benchmarks will most likely be different too)

Add rule "lowpower"
- apply to selected miners
- trigger "Time" monday-sunday  10 pm
- action apply profit profile - select the low power profile

Add rule "highpower"
- apply to selected miners
- trigger "Time" monday-sunday  09 am
- action apply profit profile - select hig power profile

Of course you could add the action "apply gpu clocking profile", but then it is using the same benchmarks...
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoDredge 0.8.2 — NVIDIA GPU Miner on: August 06, 2018, 02:53:14 AM
the api support w/ awesome miner seems a little wonky..i'm only getting readouts from 1/4 of my miners using 0.8.2.   Anyone else getting the same?
Yep, that is a known issue. The API often does not start since version 0.8.0. You might try to use 0.7.0 (Windows version is CUDA 9.2 only) Apologize!

Does CryptoDredge close the sockets properly before exiting?
I see a lot of TIME_WAITs when CryptoDredge is running, and they slowly disappear when CryptoDredge is stopped.
If CryptoDredge is started after 3-4 minutes, the api seems to start ok.
