1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what can we do about Mark Karpeles now on: February 28, 2014, 09:07:38 PM
I am guessing some Russians are looking forward to give him a big kiss in the mouth.

Rumor has it from my Fed friends is that Mark has protection from a group of people. I wont go into it any further

just one more question, are we actually "paying for" his protection fee?

There is some nasty shit around the webs of what some would like to do to him and his family, together with personal information. Protection is wise, he won't run anywhere in that case and will be very cooperative with investigators.

could you pm me where can i see this nasty shit? i am very interested in it

It might be worth mentioning that there is no evidence of anything but incompetence at Gox.

Unfortunately, it seems as those who were dimwitted enough to have money/BTC in MtGOX will believe in absolutely anything else other than this. To them it's unfathomable that they fucked up.
I fear your right. These are the same people who, in an earlier time, might have sacrificed a goat to appease the weather gods who are causing all this drought.

stop fooling us, you don't even believe what come out of your mouth, no evidence? what evidence do you want? a video of Mark Karpeles sending bitcoins to bitstamp and selling them into an offshore account in name of CEO Mark Karpeles?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Since when Mark Karpeles's risk = Bitcoin's risk? on: February 28, 2014, 08:28:18 PM
i have seen many of you talk shit after mtgox's scam:

"oh, you deserve it, why did you use Mtgox? i told you not to"
Mtgox adv itself at google, at Bitcoin Foundation at every bitcoin charts at everywhere until couple days ago, Mtgox blocked usd withdraw months (months>3) ago, Mtgox blocked bitcoin withdraw weeks(weeks>3) ago, of cause many of us used it and have no way to withdraw money but have to keep using it until it went bankruptcy, how about i tell you now do not use Bitstamp or Btce because they have problems coming out these days, whatif they stop withdraw few days after then go Bankruptcy few months later?

"oh, you gambled to buy cheap coins from mtgox, it's your fault to deposit at mtgox"
what will you do if you have money blocked in Mtgox? you will do nothing when the price is low?

"oh, this is bitcoin, you used / exchanged bitcoin then you know there are risks, only invest the money you can lose"
talking bullshit, since when Mark Karpeles's risk = Bitcoin's risk?
since when Mark Karpeles's scam = Bitcoin's scam?
since when Mark Karpeles's Financial crime = Bitcoin's Crime?
since when losing any of your money to the bitcoin exchanger / payment service criminal is acceptable?

"oh, you should not use bitcoin exchangers / payment service because all of them might scam & bankruptcy, just save your bitcoins in your wallet"
if all of us do that, Bitcoin is useless and dead

Don't be such a dick, Bitcoin itself and all bitcoiners are seriously hurt by Mark Karpeles

its not the victims fault, listen to lets tsalk bitcoin episode 85, Andreys confident mtgox wont default.

Wrong. It's mostly the victim's fault. If you do not have sole control of you private keys then you do not own any Bitcoins. We all take a risk when we send any cryptocurrency to an exchange, but that's the nature of groundbreaking tech, of new and innovative ideas; it's still young and it still has flaws (even though I can argue that flaw actually resides in the human aspect in these cases).

Ultimately, we have no one but ourselves to blame if & when we lose any cryptocurrency.

really? you are going to blame yourself for Mark Karpeles's crime? he must be innocent for you
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did any forum member have a major loss because of MtGox? on: February 28, 2014, 07:58:02 PM
stupid question, Mtgox claimed $63.6m dollars plus 750-850k bitcoins debt,

you tell me are there any users lost huge money?
7  Other / Meta / Re: Moving MTGOX posts to Service on: February 28, 2014, 07:38:02 PM
Now that the truth is out and MTGOX is NO longer a service, will the Mods continue to move MTGOX related posts to service?

I noticed that they use to only move the negative ones.

At this point, ALL Mt.Gox posts are negative posts.

less views less pain
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Foundation done anything to help with recent developments? on: February 28, 2014, 05:38:42 PM
It's like the group was created to form a hierarchical structure in a non-hierarchical system.

This... plus non-elected, thus they don't actually 'represent' anything(one)...

We should hold a poll to find out if the community at large actually needs / wants a "foundation" to speak on our behalf

So far, they've done nothing... Karpeles squanders everyone's bitcoins on frappuccinos and still not a peep from the "foundation"

Bitcoin foundation = Karpeles + Karpeles2 + Karpeles3 + ...
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / what can we do about Mark Karpeles now on: February 28, 2014, 05:28:48 PM
Mark Karpeles destroyed the Bitcoin public image, stole client's money and still causing serious Bitcoin price drop by doing this during the recent years:

1: Mark Karpeles insider trading & manipulating the market price with or without system BUG excuses

2: Mark Karpeles sold all scammed bitcoins from 1 to his hidden offshore bank account (opened by shield company with nominee directors, don't say he didn't)

3: Mark Karpeles moved & sold client's bitcoins to his hidden offshore bank account

4: Mark Karpeles bought some luxury villas in swiss / island (in caribbean? who knows) with his hidden offshore bank account

5: Mark Karpeles filed Bankruptcy plus asked for protection, claimed $63.6m dollars plus 750-850k bitcoins debt, left us an empty company of cause

6: Mark Karpeles said "he felt sorry for your lose" couple days after he claimed "all clients fund are safe",

7: Mark Karpeles wait until we finally forget this pain like inputs.io/Bitcoincia/etc

8: Mark Karpeles moves to the prepered destination, enjoy his rich wonderful happily life ever after, (9:) or may be create/join/fund a new company with your money to scam the forgetful bitcoiners again when he feel bored, no consequences easy money anyway isn't it?

what about us, we just accept the lose and move on? the Japan law is not standing at bitcoin's side, they might not charge him with a crime at all, he will be free to go

what about bitcointalk moderator, move this topic to "Service Discussion", less views less pain?

soon enough, this will become past already or even never happened, most of us are happy again
