2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE ETHEREUM GAS FEES on: June 28, 2020, 06:56:17 PM
I literally have no idea why this incessant jack in Ethereum fees and network congestion hasn't been sorted up till this point in time. I understand that the Ethereum blockchain has the highest number of projects building upon it and thus, suffers from congestion a whole lot, but I am of the opinion that there should be a way to salvage this frustrating situation at least. This has been happening quite often and the fees seem to go up at this times. I currently have a transaction that has been pending for over 2 days now and its totally unacceptable.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Active Telegram Groups on: June 28, 2020, 03:52:36 PM
There a couple of them but be mindful of the kind of level shilss you will likely get on those group which may influence your decision towards investing in projects you will end up regretting. That being said, you can search for active groups like ICOAnnouncement group and Investmentgists.. These are lively groups with lots of discussions about ico and crypto projects. You can also join the CoinMarketCap telegram group too.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto online stores? on: June 28, 2020, 12:34:42 AM
I particularly think this list and availability of stores and merchant services is likely going to increase going forward. A lot of projects have indicated willingness to have these kinds of shots after a day's hard work. With these, lots of adoption will not only be promoted but will most likely become more recognised.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compound, a crypto bubble? on: June 27, 2020, 09:16:48 PM
It certainly looks that way and we have had situations like this in the past. An idea gets introduced and if it does well, we have a whole lot of other copycats springing up just to cash in on the bubble. These things follow a pattern and we have seen it happen several times in this industry. Currently, DEFI is the new bubble like deflationary tokens/projects before it. The hype will soon die down and only projects with substance and use cases will be left standing.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: June 27, 2020, 08:09:54 PM
Like anything in life that has value, it is something people will be willing and open to offer a certain amount for due to its supply and demand ratio. Bitcoin is a digital asset used for several purposes and as such, people are willing offer a certain amount in exchange for bitcoin making it valuable. Of course, its value depends on how much people are willing to pay for it. Also, the supply is another determinant factor for why it is valuable.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherscan or Ethplorer on: June 26, 2020, 10:06:00 PM
Both serve almost the same purpose. However, etherscan is much more sophisticated and easier to identify blocks, transactions as well as a broader view of the entire blockchain and basically several functions unlike ethplorer. I use etherscan because I find it more detailed and helps me track or search easily for any transaction. Ethplorer is simpler but doesn't have the same outlay as etherscan.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Compound Coin is worth investing......? on: June 26, 2020, 09:01:41 PM
DEFI projects are the new sheriff and boss in town. COMP has done amazingly well and rightly so too. It remains to be seen how it does in the long run. For now, i will suggest you wait for it to retrace before going fully in. It has pumped massively these past couple of days and going in now may not be a wise decision being that, it will likely retrace before another rally.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 26, 2020, 07:53:56 PM
It certainly looks that way,.. I mean, this was one of the project's that created a huge buzz and hype surrounding its token sale and promises of solutions and products never seen. 3 years down the road, they haven't delivered a thing nor have they come up with reasonable excuses as to why they haven't been able to deliver on their promises. It surely looks like another money grabbing project that has disappeared into thin air. I only hope that investors can get them to repay what they have taken.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: June 25, 2020, 09:44:07 PM
There are easily the most unreliable source of research directories when finding out about projects. Most of these rating sites are paid to promote and build reputations of these projects making them presentable to the public more than they actually are. All these to entice unsuspecting investors and then dumping their tokens on them and running away. It has happened repeatedly in the past.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: June 25, 2020, 07:43:09 PM
This is almost impossible. The level the crypto industry has gone, at this stage it is extremely difficult to see it crash completely to zero. Also, there are a lot of stakes already vested into this technology with several Fintech companies committing millions of not billions into this innovation. Truth is, there wouldn't want to see this crumble. Furthermore, the solutions the crypto revolution is providing makes it worthy of the hype and status it is currently enjoying.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: June 24, 2020, 11:50:34 PM
Am sure a good number of people will agree with you on this. Binance has proven over time that it is a dominant exchange in the crypto industry with its user base increasing exponentially with each passing day as a result of continuous innovations and user focused developments. Binance continue to not only satisfy customers or users but strive to be better at everything it does. This is evident in the daily trade volumes as well as activities carried on the platform. It is undoubtedly one of the  biggest exchanges and the best there is.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: June 24, 2020, 08:10:10 PM
The bubble is long burst with this one and I think its high time everyone recognises this and move on or risk getting caught between the Cross fire thus, losing funds. It was well worth the hype while it lasted. People need to understand that most of these deflationary tokens and projects have almost nothing to offer aside token burning rate and hype. Some of these projects did really well when the hype was the highest and people cashed in big but recently, they have been found out and people are leaving in droves and this has only led to their demise or diminishing interests.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 24, 2020, 07:08:19 PM
Dogecoin has been massively underachieving since its inception. I have been disappointed with how the team have handled its developments. They haven't done enough and continue to repeat the same mistakes that has kept it out of fulfilling its true potentials. Considering how long this project has been around the industry, it ought to have gone way up to the top than it currently is. I truly hope they find their footing..
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 23, 2020, 09:29:12 PM
This is what happens when there is no regulations in the industry. Most of these projects have absolutely nothing to offer and are only out to grab the most amount of money they can get. There are over 500 projects in the industry all repeating the same ideas or concepts without trying to provide solutions to anything. These projects float IEOs and once that is done, they pack up and run away or stop developments all together thus, disappearing with investors funds.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokpie Platform Questions on: June 23, 2020, 07:53:13 PM
Speaking from experience here.. Tokpie does exactly what it promises and even helps you get to complete your transactions safely and without much requirements. The only downside to tokpie is the level of competition from other users vying to get the deals on offer as well. Also, there is a potential risk to selling or buying of stakes on the platform since one could just be cheaply giving away their bounty stakes that could be worth much more in future if the project does exceedingly well later on. You should strongly consider this before going ahead to sell your stakes.
20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: June 22, 2020, 11:27:45 PM
Guys.

So I was wondering if you guys could give me ideas to set up some revenue streams that would not require much time investment per week.

Ideally each source of revenue should bring in about $200 per month and should be scalable.

I have some of my own ideas but I can get too biased about what I think is the right thing, so I want to open up this discussion to all of you that might have better ideas than what I could conjour.

Self-mod thread, but I won't delete your posts unless you start trolling.
