Just like the title, in my country, Japan, I think people are leaving blockchain scene believing that there's no future. In Korea, on the contrast, people are waiting for the listing of the KLAY, the token made by Klaytn. Which is the real??

Link Project, ICON Project, Klaytn in Japan and South Korea are starting their business. How these projects can change the local economy? Carry protocol and Contents protocol can be a good example for this.

I think the value of BTC comes from the network. The more people contribute to the network, the more people believe the system, the more people trust the token economy, the network gets stronger. A strong network is a source of BTC's value. I think this is the difference between gold and BTC. Since the value of gold comes from the gold itself and the people who believe the value of gold.

Data show us that ICO's are dying. The total fund raised by ICO drastically decreased in this year and people are getting tired of fake, scam projects. ICO isn't a good way of fundraising anymore. Instead, blockchain startups have to prove their technology and vision in the way of traditional startup did before. They have to make Demo and do the pitching to the investors. I think this is the maturing process.

I think this is one of the most important processes for the blockchain to be part of the real world. Blockchain hasn't been in the legal system and institution so far. Since blockchain was apart from the legal system and institution, regulations and laws were suppressing the whole industry. With the series of the legal, and political process that Libra is gonna get through, blockchain can be part of the real world.
"The U.S. House Financial Services Committee will host a hearing on Facebook’s libra cryptocurrency next month, one day after the Senate Banking Committee holds its previously announced hearing.
Maxine Waters, chair of the powerful House committee, announced the hearing Monday, The Hill reported, after calling on Facebook to suspend development of the project multiple times last week. The hearing is scheduled for July 17, and no witness list has yet been released." - Coindesk

Facebook and Libra are focusing on Financial area. Is there any other area that blockchain can be used?? It's hard for me to imagine anything else.
Don't compare Blockchain and cryptocurrencies, these are absolutely different areas! While blockchain is a technology, bitcoin is just one of its use cases. However, please read the below link to learn more about possible use cases of blockchain, https://blog.advids.co/20-blockchain-use-case-examples-in-various-industries/Hope this helps! Thanks for your help!! I was looking for some possible use case like this.
