1  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 23, 2019, 01:05:21 PM
Is Binance a bad exchange? It's the most reliable nowadays. I completely understand concern about the recent hack, but it showed the full competence and funds reimburse, so no problem with it. Security is a top issue, but exchanges with reserve funds can afford minor fails.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: May 23, 2019, 12:56:13 PM
Current market state indicates that btc maybe moved into 2nd accumulation phase. This will possibly be the last phase before the constant uptrend, but it may long a little longer because the price is higher, and no too many buyers will be willing to buy at considerable high prices. Selling is dangerous now, buying is also dangerous as pullback may come. So maybe btc is entering some sort of equilibrium-accumulation.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: May 23, 2019, 12:49:59 PM
Banks buying gold because they can't afford the level of risk btc offers. Bank are very conservative in their approach, and btc is very risky kind of asset for them. However, banks are realizing the potential of btc and that's why blame it mostly. Of course banks prefer gold as it's time-tested though doesn't give even a small portion of the revenue btc grants.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you disagree?? on: May 23, 2019, 12:41:19 PM
Even though bitcoin went to $8300, it's hard to claim the bull market is ongoing. The pullback is possible, moreover, even if not, then we might see a lot of sideways action. $15 000 up to the end of they year would surprise me, I don't expect the accumulation to happen that high.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Climbing Up. on: May 23, 2019, 12:29:42 PM
Currently, it drops -2.90% with a price of $ 7,733.34 USD at the time of writing compared to yesterday's price of 8,062.17. Hopefully, it will reverse its path to be beneficial to everyone in the next 24 hours.

Why do you care about such a short timeline? do you trade inside the day? I just think it's very dangerous to trade inside the day now, as the trend isn't clear, at least for me. I really can only wonder where it pulls back right now or will continue its upward movement to new 2019 heights.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going Back to $7,000? on: May 23, 2019, 12:21:24 PM
It's extremely possible that $7000 will be reached ever, but it would be too far-fetched to say that we-re heading towards $7k right now. The last pullback from 8300 was bought and got up 8100 again, but if it continues making lower lows and lower heights, then $7000 is on the radar for the next month. There could also be spikes, so if you want to buy low, place ladder orders starting from maybe 7100 and down to 5000 and eve below if you can't be at the charts all the time. Btc have long proved anything can happen any minute.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Right Now: Will Do A Bull Run Too? on: May 22, 2019, 12:17:01 PM
The real growth of Ethereum will be once it becomes scalable and be used according to its original purpose. Ethereum has probably the most fanbase, everybody loves it, but it lacks applicability under pressure. Once that problem is solves, moon is the limit Grin If to look at the current picture, everybody is waiting for btc to cool-off and altcoins grow, so of this happens, then yes, eth is the first candidate to grow.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 22, 2019, 12:08:08 PM
Many application, releases, and "user-friendly" tool are being integrated, but it's not enough, really not enough to make crypto accessible to housekeepers. Even news doesn't help to absolutely non-technical "housekeepers" who could get involved with 1 click, no more, and absolute guarantee of safety. But do we need that friendliness? Crypto is a thing invented mainly for future generations, fresh people with digital blood, and they will have no problem with installing their wallets or keeping private keys away from prying eyes.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people saying about Bitcoin? on: May 22, 2019, 11:33:52 AM
Government always try to defile things that may potentially work against them or even threat them, so there's nothing special about government calling btc a Ponzi scheme. It's no Ponzi, but it's manipulated ,well, like any other asset in any market, the difference is that it's less mature so more prone to be manipulated. With all that said, btc is handling a torch of cryptocurrencies and help in crypto and blockchain globalization. There will always be hundreds of thoughts, but that's okay until btc make new heights cycle after cycle and complete its primary mission to some extent.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Climbing Up. on: May 22, 2019, 11:19:31 AM
I think 2017 and now are different cases. Many compare this cycle to 2015 and now to 2013 when we btc got pumped, then there was a retracement, but actually each cycle is different. Btc has a very thin chance to drop below the previous low of this cycle - $3200- but it may stuck above the previous accumulation level of around 5800-6500 for a while. If we respect the timing, then more time needed for it to go parabolic. But as the each of the cycles is different, parabolic move can't be excluded.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we buy with one BTC? And is buying something with BTC worth it? on: May 22, 2019, 11:04:13 AM
Today you can buy anything with btc, the only question is how fast will you find a seller with a good offer. But with some time and efforts put in, you will eventually find it. However, btc is really much more an investment tool than a currency. Bitcoin is more a crypto commodity. With 1 btc you can buy a lot of stuff, but if 1 btc is all you have, it's better to leave it for the future, as it can save you a lot of money or time to make the equal amount of money.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 22, 2019, 10:45:47 AM
Blockchain is like fire or any other technology in hands of human. It can be either used wisely for good or misused to abuse and suppress people. For example, the original idea of bitcoin whitepaper is no longer the real idea of bitcoin. Was it said to be manipulative and used for enriching exchanges and major holders? Of course no, but it is! The same situation with blockchain usage: it CAN be used wisely to record people's data and then apply to it fast when necessary, but the question is, will people be willing to trust blockchain? Too much controversy nowadays to predict the way blockchain will develop.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your unfashionable Bitcoin opinions? on: May 22, 2019, 10:35:13 AM
Bitcoin will start losing its popularity among simple users once it became too expensive. Look at the gold market: how many ordinary people are involved in it? In future big capitalization and low price deviation will make btc unprofitable and unpopular. That's the concern for me. But the good side is, this future will happen in decades.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Start to Use Blockchain Technology on: May 22, 2019, 10:22:39 AM
Seeing major brands starting using blockchain technologies is beautiful. For sure it will boost the popularity of crypto as a business field overall. While cryptos is perceived more like trading tools, blockchains are slowly making their steps towards diversifying to be more than just instruments for transferring coins. The overall effect of this will be tangible everywhere. Many major shops and markets have started accepting crypto, but with Louis Vuitton and Dior, that's a different case, even more favorable for blockchain enthusiasts.
