1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 09, 2019, 01:04:01 PM
Day trading is quite stressful.

So I schedule my trading for 1-3 months while following up on the projects
Trading doesn't work like that, you can increase your time frame of trading but you need to keep analyse the market as well,if you simply buy cryptos and selling after three months might give losses for you as well.

This exactly, trading on higher timeframes reduces stress and price action gives you clearer signals. Looking for clues at 1H chart to give preemtive signals to exit a trade from 4h chart works well. To get entry signals i use daily chart combined with 4H. Sometimes it takes soo much time for the signals to form that i get bored and start doing stupid trades. Its an everlasing battle with self-sabotage with myself. But im close.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Technical Analysis 101: How to Identify Market Patterns on: May 20, 2019, 04:01:32 PM
Been studying technical analysis for more than a year and do some work for a investment company for daily forex market movements.

Doing analysis for longer than i have traded, so im still developing trading skills, my biggest enemy being my own trading psychology and self sabotaging behaviors. Price action is my main analysis tool including time, trend analysis, fibonacci retracement for wave correction, classic support/resistance and some moving averages like 50, 100 and 200 EMA and  simple market structure patterns like trends and consolidation patterns like the article you have written.

One important factor that is not mentioned in your article is time. You want to see those patterns on a higher timeframe for them to have a higher probability of working. And people who use technical analysis for timing the market also need to learn about risk management and trading psychology. Every one has their own weaknesses, but first you need to find out what those are. Trading demo accounts takes off the edge for controlling emotions while trading, so i would suggest using extremely small amounts when starting and building up your risk tolerance as you learn how the market moves.

I have not read the whole thread, but i need to ask a question i have always wondered about flat earth theory. When the earth is flat, then all of the satellite GPS system should render useless. I reckon millions if not tens of millions have to be fully aware that the earth is flat - all aerospace and military occupations - because it would not be possible to use a map to call in artillery barrage or a tactical airstrike.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you imagine ideal society? on: May 20, 2019, 03:09:35 PM
Altho an ideal society does not exist and probably never will, because the world is in constant change, i would imagine it would be something in the middle of socialism and nationalism. Going too far on the one side of the pendulum creates a opportunity for radicals to seize power. One side acquiring too much power will radicalize the other side as well and thus we will get large scale protests and eventually a civil war if one side is ignored for too long.
