Due to Health Problem, my time in crypto is over as of today. The Zeitcoin BlockExplorer is paid up until Dec 17th. Good Luck to you all. Signing off for the final time. Kiklo has left the building. Take care of yourself. Can't believe we've all been here this long!

Haha! I remember when PCN made so many promises. Now it's not even an after-thought. Htmlcoin ran circles around PCN 100x over. Never saw that coming back then.

So, without trying to mention another coin, a certain other coin, also in the sub-cent range has started with a concept called POMA (Proof of Mass Adoption). Really, it's just a fancy term for "Hey look! We created an infrastructure for some coin, but it can work with any coin in the future."
Essentially, the POMA team has created WordPress Plugins so that the coin can be used as an accepted currency within WooCommerce. That's but one of the many initiatives.
Wouldn't we benefit from having Zeitcoin become a part of that infrastructure? A place where we can actually use it as a method of payment? I'd be lying to say it wouldn't be cool for two of the obscure cryptocurrencies I'm involved with to become part of that.

Ok, all good and valid reasoning. I'll sit tight. Not like I was dumping anyway, but the price was a bit discouraging for a moment. Looks like it rebounded some.

I'm glad to be caught up. I missed a lot of the higher interest payments, but I'll take what I can get, in terms of minting "free" Zeit from my balance. Still far away from "Zeit Knight" numbers but, shit, if Zeit ever made it to close to a dollar, I'd be a millionaire... finally.

Thanks for the info. Will download.

This has probably been discussed before, but the Zeitcoin Wallet app should NOT be forced shut down, because it needs to finish doing its thing. That said, I had no choice, thanks to a botched TeamViewer session, and powered off my computer. I'm running the Mac version of 2.0.1.7 wallet.
Now when I run it, I get a fatal error. If I delete everything from the support folder except for config wand wallet.dat, it will run, but will sync from the very beginning of Zeitcoin's existence. Rather than wait 100 years for the syncing process to happen, what can I do to "catch up?"
Thanks!

That Zeit faucet mentioned above has issues, to say the least. If I try to claim some Zeit, my IP (new to me) is on "some blacklist." If I use a VPN, it works. Most faucets work the other way around.

Not even close to 100 million Zeit. But I do have a lot.

Wow! It's been a LONG time since I paid a visit to this forum. Still have my Zeitcoins though, sadly, I probably missed the highest of interest rates. Oh, well. Still getting something for holding since the beginning, even if it's only 5%! Nice to see this community is still thriving, which can't be said for so many of the coins I was mining back in the day.

Cryptopia – an awesome community that includes good people, nice tips, good coins to exchange, and a good community coin – DOT. Using my scrypt miners to get as much DOT as possible. While I do trade a little DOT, it seems to have its own value, so I'm keeping most of it!

Ok, so why is Avast finding the new 1.3.1 wallet to be a virus? I have had zero problems downloading and running wallets. Is this an Avast change or a change to the wallet code?

Talk about a coin that literally just died. Shame. I have so much of it. Might as well be monopoly money.

Going to assume this coin is dead. Rescan does not make the wallet go past a certain block. Will trade the rest of my coffeecoin for something more worthwhile.

Ok, so it's been quite some time since I've been out here on the Zeitcoin boards. Besides the mandatory update (which I have done, thank you Ray!), what's going on? I've noticed the slight color change on our logo, as well as something about Zeit Knights in 2015.... Can someone give me the short version (or a link to it)?

Still stuck.... block 380791. Coffeecoin 2.0.3.0 on Win-7 64-bit. What's the trick/problem?
|
|

I have just recently downloaded the wallet and I'm stuck at 380005 as well. This is a clean download, with no copied wallet file (since Bleutrade did the transfer of CFC to CFC2). So, what's the trick? Is there a new, new wallet?

the Zeit wallet is among the best of the best ... Dev done did good.
Mod-ing the community board is the job of the community.
Creating new ideas and projects and visions and goals and communication.
So here is one:
ZIET COIN starts a 'micro' zeitgeist village.
discuses that we can
question 1 : where?
Yes , a lovely wallet where I can watch my investment lose more and more value.Thank goodness I didnt go all in on this one. Oh no!! The coin that is less than six months old didn't skyrocket in value! Oh no!! All the whales and chronic dumpers are losing interest in the coin! Oh no!! That means that all of us true supporters who are interested in this coin as a long term investment instead of a short term pump and dump can pick up a ton of Zeit for next to nothing and then sit back and let our coins mint like hell!! Oh the humanity! It is interesting how quickly people forget that Bitcoin was practically worthless for a LONG time . Just because one coin made it to the top does not mean the others will get there faster. Zeticoin (or any coin, for that matter) will only succeed if enough people want to use it beyond just trading. It's still too early to tell and it's why I'm holding (and minting).
|
|
|
I have not opened my wallet in a while. The minting process is hit or miss, but that could be my CPU causing that, for all I know. I have yet to sell/trade any Zeitcoin. I still plan on letting it mint as much as possible.
