Or...
The one thing Ethereum was designed to do...neither of them can do. xD

Sorry I didn't answer sooner was on the way out the door.
Just running long poll for now, it is about a 10% improvement for me with cuda 7.5.
Feel bad not mining on your yiimp, but I need a constant block rate, it's been financing a hobby of mine hehe.

Pallas the 10% commit is giving me this error when I run it.

I've submitted a pull request with a 2-3% speedup in decred. I may work on it more, if there is interest.
wow: in a world of private miners, I push a free speedup to a popular algo and don't even get considered... so far for my opensource miner efforts. Cheers! 5b17e9109e8956530b78b828fd78604eef40400643f93bfb3d090c75040bcc37 My donations tend to moon sooner than later... Pallas, It's not a lot for now, but here's 0.016 Btc from me. f70a25455577c0e500bc42450a03b956e82e882367eefcf3fe5517b29407db1e-000 I'm going to fork tpruvots repo and pull in your pull and fiddle around also. Keep us updated if you do anymore / the other improvements you said. Will donate more once I sell some more coins here in a week or so.

Was paying my DishTV satellite bill with bitcoins since they started accepting it.

Pallas I compiled the pull request you were talking about and am currently getting a 4.5% increase (decred) with Cuda 7.5 on an 670 and an 770.
1120 total MH vs 1170MH now.

I posted this on the decred forum because I've been lurking over there fiddling around, but wanted to post it here if anyone had any use for it. I know you can just use telnet also, but I was bored and wanted to mess around. https://github.com/codyf86/PyCCMinerI wrote a simple API interface in Python 3. I know everyone just cringed when they read Python 3, but you can easily convert it to work on Python 2, but come-on just install Python 3 already it's been 10 years nearly...as everyone who uses linux cringes. =) Use PyCCMiner.py to be able to input console commands to send. Type help for a list of options. Can also use PyCCMiner.py -C <command> to constantly send one command that refreshes. Right now it just connects to port 4068 under local host (which you can easily change) and does a GET request. If you have an android device can install Python for android and run it from console can be pretty nifty. Slowly doing more to learn more python so will update it when I can.

Whoops lol, sorry went and checked some other places, the article I read with the graph was way off. Yeah you're right. Not sure why he would be getting such a low hash rate. Make sure you're only running 2 cards per instance and that nothing else is bogging down your cpu. Those are the only things I have noticed will make it mine slower.
|
|
|
Hmmm he says he only has one 970. 1300MH is the correct hashrate 2700 is double and the 980ti only does like 1.7. If something is showing 2700 for one 970 card it's displaying wrong.
can also use the d flag to specify which cards per ccminer instance. -d 0,1 or -d 0 etc etc etc.

maybe not scam because it wasnt pumped and dumped... still a lot premine, I hope the developer is honest about its distribution
So far the premine distribution has been incredibly fair for people claiming bounties, through adding pools, and the contest on their forum to receive vape from the premine, (photo contest, post your address, etc etc,) Not even trying to sound like a fanboy because I don't even know the dev I just think the coin has an actual good idea behind it. I would start my own store that accepted it, if we could get it on Bittrex where we could actually stabilize the price... to anything. On the smaller exchange no one really cares that's why there is no trading and not taken seriously. tl;dr If we can get on Bittrex and stabilize price to any amount, I will start a store that accepts VAPEcoin, I've gotten pretty good at mixing juice. Can even start out with sample bottles.
|
|
|
They gave me 1000 coins just for posting a picture of my vape and some more for posting my address on the forum. Seems a good part of the premine has already been given away from the photo contest and the post your address thread alone. People just like to fud good ideas, lol.

I guess this would take a leap of faith on your part, but I live in Indianapolis, IN / USA and there are so many vape stores (literally like 10 in town) that have opened up, along with my own resources of mixing juices and nicotine, that I could help distribute and ship juices with nicotine.
First we honestly need to get on bitrex, I sent Richie a message on IRC but didn't stick around to hear his response so we have an actual stable price on the coin, if you can manage the store front, I could do the actual acquiring the juices / mixing them myself and shipping even internationally.
I was a chemistry nerd in high school / college so I started mixing my own along with finding the best juices available... just sayin' this is one of the best ideas ever for a coin just trying to help it succeed.
|
|
|
I think we could get on Bittrex fairly easy, might hop in irc and chat with them about it. Tons of random / no purpose coins are added and this could be big, I'll see what I can do.
|
|
|
This could actually be a really good coin if you do it right. There are so many vape stores that have popped up within the last 2 years...I'd be dead 20 years sooner without one.
Mining to see what happens. Don't ef it up. =)

6.5 atm. 6.0 was a dud, but was using 5.5 up until recently.

Whoops sorry...one last update. Forgot a change to floating point precision (fast) and enabled /mp (multi-processor compilation) compiles at least twice as fast. Can do with it what you want, just something to fiddle with. Anyway seems a tiny / negligable hash increase, but compiles way faster...a lot faster. http://d-h.st/AWY

One of the several reasons is the fact that they will delete these posts as soon as the censors gets a hold of them, to start. Another is that the gimmick of "limited availability" never has worked, historically, in any economy and, especially in crypto, with the repeated failures of 42coin, 365coin and all the rest based on scarcity. On a 3rd level, SYNC brings absolutely nothing new or tech innovative to the already overpopulated crypto table...
But, more importantly, it has a very peculiar lead dev, MsCollec/Incognito who, obviously, doesn't deal well with criticism... among many other things, and that doesn't know how to code to save her/his life, to boot. He/she is done in crypto after what he/she did at Voot (another coin that he/she started for no particular reason whatsoever).
But, since he/she remain just a handle, he/she'll be around for quite a while under a different one.
Now, all those things considered, can you find a decent enough reason to stay invested -let alone pour more money into in- in this coin when you have so many great projects around crypto, now with very public and identifiable devs, all of the devs? If you do, by all means... it's your money after all.
No one has deleted any post in the 5+ pages of butthurt vootcoins holders posting in this thread. Who were soley responsible for the massive loss-of-value of their coin. Weak hands it looks like to me and manipulation of actual facts. The mad is dripping off you in an unmistakable way... ...but you forgot Nite69 (The actual dev) does know how to code.. =) Who has been solely responsible for the innovations lately...ala NiteSend...you must have heard of it? lol xD Anyway this coin has more innovation that 99% of the crap coins out there. You've managed to say nothing constructive in your posts and done more than anyone else could in showing how ignorant you actually are in regards to crypto-technology. I know it sucks to miss out on the airline miles as well... On a happier note - we're all still buying, so if you do have any coins you would like to dump, thanks for the cheap coins!

Dinner is waiting on me! lol =) So I just re-zipped my VS project folder (ccminer-master)... A few notes...I've been building with release - x64 - CUDA 6.5. Changed the project file to load from CUDA 6.5 not 5.5. If you have a processor that does not have AVX instructions you'll need to change DEBUG/ccminer properties/'C/C++'/Code Generation/ to whatever it does support or back to default. I do not have a page file, so if you have very little ram / rely on a page file you'll need remove the two '0's under DEBUG/ccminer properties/Linker/System for good measure. Look through DEBUG/ccminer properties under the main tool bar in visual studio to see the settings I've changed. I don't claim this to increase hashrate any significant amount, but every little bit helps and it definitely is more stable. Also as I said before this is with CUDA 6.5 and x64 architecture, but can easily be modified for any CUDA toolkit and architecture. Also removed the ccminer.rc file that appeared in the project file within the last few commits. It shouldn't be there and breaks building. http://d-h.st/bBe

Windows 7 x64.
The blue screen were just caused by trying to play movies and listen to music while mining at full blast lol. =) (All 3 at the same time.)
All I mean't was there are some optimizations that can be done in visual studio that have not been touched / left at default in the current github.
Didn't mean anything by it. =)

Intel 3570k overclocked to 4.5Ghz, 16Gb ram 2 770s @ 1254 Core - 3703 Memory 1 670 @ 1254 Core - 3416 Memory Don't worry...I've been doing this for awhile. I posted that mainly because of the performance increase, but up to you guys, doesn't matter to me. Don't need anyone to diagnose my system crashing haha I just meant in general. It's rock stable, just mean't if I tried to go all crazy and watcha movie while mining and play music. Mining alone it doesn't crash either way.
