To solve my problem, last posting here:

I think i found now the problem:

@home where all the Antminers are working, i got this Ports openend shown with a PortScanner:

@office i got on my Laptop computer only this ports openend:

You see for Antminer ist SSH Port 22 missing, can i change this in a way?

@DrHaribo: Thx for your answer but my problem is not solved and i don't know why.

In my office behind a firewall i have these IP connection on my laptop:

Works with DHCP-Server:
IP-Adress: 192.168.199.117
Subnetzmask: 255.255.255.0
Standardgateway: 192.168.199.41
DHCP-Server: 192.168.199.41
Lease erhalten: 14.07.2014 18:31:55
Lease läuft ab: 14.07.2014 20:31:55
DNS-Server: 192.168.199.41

I can give my laptop a static IP and it also works for example:
IP-Adress: 192.168.199.125
Subnetzmask: 255.255.255.0
Standardgateway: 192.168.199.41

Every thing is working, i can use Teamviewer, Skype, my dLAN adapter works etc.

But Antminer does not appear in the network when i control it with my port scanner, not with DHCP-Server or with a static IP. I think this is the first problem.

What do i have to do to get the Antminers in the office network, port forwarding or something like that and how?

Behind a Firewall: How do i get pool connection to Bitminter under Port 80?

Hello Community!

I am working at home with Antminer S1, every thing is fine there.

I want to run 2 Antminer in my office, but we have there a firewall, only following ports are open:

SMTP: Port 25
HTTP: Port 80
POP3: Port 110
NNTP: Port 119
EPMAP: Port 135
Shared Network Folder: 139
IMAP: 143
HTTPS: 443

I found now your Bitminter pool, which is connectable with Port 80:

http://mint.bitminter.com:80

At home this adress works fine but in office it does not work
Does my Antminer need another port to run or where ist the problem?
I use PortScan 1.46 to watch the ports.

Another questions and problems:

The adress: stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:443 does not work at home nether in office

Does every Antminer working unit need an extra name e.g. Biosman_Worker01, Biosman_Worker02 etc or is one name for all Antminer enough e.g. Biosman_Worker?

Can i turn off under Bitminter mining for Namecoins, i think i just want all my power for BTC Mining

What are these settings and do i have to change something?

Bei dem Antminer S1 finde ich z.B. bei eBay stets die gleichen Verbrauchsangaben von ~180 GH/s Leistungsaufnahme ~360W Stromversorgung:


Für die Buffalo Labs Geräte finde ich beim Hersteller nichts genaues, bisher nur von dieser Mining Anleitungsseite eine ungefähre Angabe:


Kann jemand für die BFL Geräte genauere Leistungsaufnahmen nennen oder hat einen Link und stimmen die Angaben beim Antminer S1 soweit in der Praxis?

Der Stromverbrauch ist dann doch ein entscheidender Faktor, auch für einen idealistischen Hobby Miner

Ich steige die nächsten Tage auch mit dem Mining ein mit einem BFL 60 GH/Z zum testen und ein Bekannter hat mir GHash.io empfohlen. Was sind die Vorteile/Nachteile von GHash.io und welche Alternativen gäbe es für meine kleine Idealistenanlage, die über Raspberry Pi  gesteuert wird
