1  Economy / Services / Re: New Mining Farm Start up - Viscerion Mining Co. on: April 04, 2014, 11:49:06 PM
And yet this is coming from someone who is a known scammer and reported by a multitude of people.  IMHO, it seems as if the scammers want to push any legitimate people out of the forum so they can go back to business.

I'm perfectly fine receiving backing on Kickstarter instead of here and I will be posting the link to the page once it is live. For those who have contacted me with interest, thank you and you're more than welcome to donate on Kickstarter when we are live.  We will be offering your choice of a return in BTC / LTC / other crypto of your choice for your Kickstarter support, or a custom lanbox PC made by yours truly -- for the higher donations.  And the box that we're going to be offering will be both a kickass gaming pc as well as a decent scrypt miner; just in case cryptocurrency doesn't survive.

Just to give you a hint of whats to come.. for the Kickstarter $1000 donation, the lan box will have roughly a 700+ Kh/s scrypt hash rate, $1500 donation will get you roughly 2 MH/s scrypt hash rate, etc.

Again, thank you to those who are interested and I look forward to seeing your support on Kickstarter.  To those who are here to bash someone with a legitimate business, go back to your hole and everyone else stay safe on the forum.

This first and foremost is not a scam.  Certainly some of the data we have provided will change as the market changes as well.  If you read my first post, I am more than welcome to ideas on improving the plan.  I am also open to suggestions and offers of other hardware that may be more viable for the initial investment.

So thank you for posting "SCAM" and "Proof or it didn't happen" for the rest of the trolls.  My current investor has the funding and has agreed to terms that are private to this forum.  I respect his privacy and will not be posting bank statements or otherwise to show proof to the troll.

I know many of you may have been burned by scammers at one point or another, as have I from past experience.  The one thing I do have is a knack for business.

So, those of you who are being productive in this thread -- thank you.  Your ideas and thoughts will improve on the business plan and ultimately bring it to fruition.

I will be updating this thread as more details come about and we secure a better hosting deal.  As of right now, from current evaluation our initial quote given for 100 TH/s hosting rental is high and we will be negotiating a better deal.

I wanted to note for those who are interested in what your investment will give you access to in the farm.

It equates to roughly 1 TH/s of processing per $3500, or 100 GH/s for $350 in BTC.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the feedback!

If we were to go the self hosted route, I was going to work with the Dragon Miner group here on Bitcointalk.  They have the most cost effective 1 TH/s miner available that is legitimate currently, though I know some logistic issues could and probably would arise with such a volume of miners.  Hence why I had suggested the original plan for a short term hosted contract originally.

6  Economy / Services / New Mining Farm Start up - Viscerion Mining Co. on: March 28, 2014, 06:16:45 AM
Good Evening All, I originally posted this in the services forum; however I think this is more of a Group Buy based on feedback.

I have started a small Bitcoin Mining company, with large potential. The main reason why I'm putting this together, is as a kickstarter for my custom computer and scrypt miner company, Viscerion Computing.

I already have several interested investors (totaling roughly $30,000 in vested funds) to purchase mining equipment, or a short term high yield contract pending total investor input.

I have a contract already settled with a well known datacenter to start a 6 month 100 TH/s contract, but that is only if we raise a capital of $250,000 USD prior to the start of the contract in June.  This contract has the potential earnings of $200,000 - $230,000 per month at current difficulty, with return on initial investment in little over 1 month.

The second option, pending funds; would be to outright purchase and set up a small datacenter cage with purchased mining equipment from the investors.  The benefit of this option would be for the actual equipment.  From the same initial investment of $250,000, we could purchase upwards of 75-100 TH/s of equipment, and be able to run the equipment as long as we want.  The downside, is the additional cost of hosting, warehouse rental, internet connection, cooling, insurance and security.

What I am proposing (pending on how quickly we can get funding) would to have a vote on the option of a short term high yield return, or to have the long term contract with higher monthly costs and slightly lower returns.  Investors have 80% of return of mining per month of either contract or equipment mining yields.

With investors in mind, you can expect your ROI within 2 months and everything else is pure profit.  You supply the funding, we supply the equipment, hosting, management and disbursement of funds!

If you're interested to learn more of our business plan, model or ideas; look out for our Kickstarter that should be up and running in 2 weeks or less!

If you would like to be a part of our mining initiative, feel free to donate BTC to the following address we have set up for this plan to secure your spot and percentage of BTC yielded when the plan starts:

1FafBvMUvnV4isVydhkKAujWo5xpekgthn

At minimum, I plan to start a 10 TH/S farm and I will host it locally.  If we get to the scale that I anticipate, I will set up hosting at a local datacenter here in Washington.

I am more than happy to reply to any posts with questions or ideas to make this better!

Thank you for taking the time to read, and I look forward to seeing this to fruition!

When are you guys going to understand coino.info have already been tagged as a scam site.. Why are you guys even mining there where there is dedicated and poolers? Jesus christ... Coino.info have no relations to coino itself

You do realize that is what I said, just nicer right?  I learned my lesson early enough to not lose out too much, but there are plenty of others that have gone there solely because it was showing the highest coino return per hash and it's listed on Coino.org as a valid pool.

The issue isnt with people thinking that Coino.info has anything to do with Coino.org. The issue is that Coino.info is listed as a valid pool currently.
The Coino.org team could help relieve this issue if they removed Coino.info from the list of valid pools; at least until they point to the correct nodes.

I wouldn't say its a scam site though, they were legitimately sending out Coino payments to my old wallet.

where is admin of coino.info? grrrrr Angry

I don't think they're going to do anything about the Coino mined at Coino.info.  It's mining off of an old blockchain (pre gravity well) and the coins mined are invalid with the new wallet. If you hadn't updated your wallet, you could have the coin in the wallet, but it won't translate over to the new wallet... as I found out.

Since then I've joined and used poolers and dedicated pool, with slightly better results from my low hashrate on poolers.  I've also used the P2P pool with success on the new wallet and it will send your coins in increments with a "mined" note next to it.  This is a bit slower confirmation of the coino earned than using a pool, mainly because there arent nearly the same amount of miners using it with high hash rates to push the blocks processed.

I've learned to live with the fact that I've lost out on 850 coino, and contracted out a few people to help mine me some extra coino in the process Smiley.  This is the first time I've actually invested $ into cryptocurrency, and it's for good reason.

Even still, Coino has a great community and a good backing to the currency.  A marketing plan can make or break an idea or a company, and the Coino team has a great one!  Just to see the amount of time and money they have invested in the cryptocurrency makes me confident in their plan and idea for the future of Coino.

Coino has been live for 2 months now, and just knowing that and how many people have been tracking this coin is awesome.  It seems much more mature than that!  I'm happy to be one of the first people to unearth this new coin and bring it to market Smiley.

well, i managed to get my new wallet to accept from Dedicated pool today.  The big issue now is that I'll never see the 650 coino that I transferred out of my wallet and back to it after it synced for the new wallet.  I don't know what can be done about this.. It just sits there unconfirmed.

Hey all..
 Huh
Anyone have advice for the new Windows wallet?

I updated and now I'm no longer receiving mined coino from automatic deposits and I lost my entire wallet balance in "Unconfirmed" instead of in my balance.  I've completely removed the application other than my backup of my wallet and coino.conf file.  Nothing seems to be working with this new Windows wallet...

If I can't get it working soon, I'm out about 1,000 Coino!  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'll buy 1000 coino for around $8.  Can pay via amazon gift card, or other preferred payment.
