Mountable is an innovative product consisting of data communication system, information, and monitoring in areas that are difficult to reach, especially for the areas without cellular signals and without internet. By allowing the data and information gathering, namely compilation, to be applied in the hiking, you can find the location and condition of the hikers, make an emergency landing, and climbing. As an outdoor activity, mountain hiking is one of the most popular in the world, including in Indonesia. However, this activity is not without risks involved.

There are mountain hiking accidents that can occur due to the lost of location, bad weather, even starvation for a long time. This is the impact of emergency evacuation that still depends on hikers’ reports and conventional monitoring systems, such as using identity cards and paper. Based on the data reported by urbanhikers.id, every month there are two hikers suffers from compilation. According to our validated customer survey from thirty three hikers, the obstacle in hiking came mostly from the difficulty of GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) signal connections. This is a fatal weakness because mountain hiking which included in Indonesia’s adventure tourism sector had contributed around 25 percent of the total contribution in natural tourism, based on data from the Ministry of Tourism 2018.
