1  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honda S2000 (Turbo, Convertible, 6spd, Highly modified) low miles for BTC on: June 29, 2014, 04:34:26 AM
Feel free to PM. I also haven't listed it here, but I did on other ads. There is only one thing that is acting up on this car, that is the Timing Chain Tensioner. It's a common problem with S2000's and it's a quick easy fix by yourself or just replacing the part with a new one. Please refer to THIS LINK if you don't know what a TCT is. This part usually acts up every 50,000 miles or so on S2000's, it's a well documented thing. So of course when this car started to roll a little past 50,000 miles it started to act up a little bit. I had every intention on tinkering with it and replacing it, but I've just been so caught up and busy with work + family.

As said before, I'm willing to travel or even ship the car. The title is ready to be signed over.

*UPDATE*

Tired of dealing with people who don't go through on the commitment to purchase. I have just now dropped the price to an unbelievable $11,000 or 18.5 Bitcoins. It won't last long, I promise you.

*UPDATE*

There's no bondo anywhere, must be a reflection. The only spots on the body is a very small stress in the paint under the headlights. I wouldn't go jerry rigging anything on this car.

This is a car you just have to see to believe but then actually ride in it.

PS: I've dropped my price ridiculously low to $16,000 USD (or Bitcoin equivalent) in hopes of having it sold before the end of the month. I've had tons of people drill me to death over the past month and want then say they are going to get but end up never coming through. I wish I would've used eBay for the exposure when I first began wanting to sell it, but I just wanted to do it the old barter way I guess.

Let me know, I've sent you guys both a message I do believe.

Thanks.

Nice ride!  I hope you do well with it.   If I had enough liquid assets I would add it to my collection.  Ive bought 8 cars this month.  (sigh)

I actually need to sell a few!  Keep seeing things that I want, and I buy on impulse!  Haha

Thanks, I appreciate it. It truly is a great car and it's a real head turner. In the down-the-road future I hope to be able to re-acquire one of similar caliber.

I hate to lower the price any lower for such a great car, but unfortunately I need to sell the car by the end of the month. I have various business ventures that I'm investing more money into and some of it is going to re-modeling a couple rooms in my home for my soon-to-be baby girl Wink

If a serious buyer is interested in the car and has the available funds, I'm willing to let the car go for $16,000 if I can have it sold this month. I will of course accept the equivalent amount of $16,000 in Bitcoin or Litecoin as well.

Thanks for all those who have been interested.

I'm very excited about the development of this project. I believe decentralized applications are truly the way of the future for Bitcoin. I will be following this project very closely!

Well, he's yet to reply after sending his offer.

The car is still available.
11  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Honda S2000 (Turbo, Convertible, 6spd, Highly modified) low miles for BTC on: June 06, 2014, 02:52:00 AM
Is the car still for sale? I will make a standing offer.

27.5BTC (currently valuated at $660 on Bitstamp, 27.5BTC=$18,150) and $1,000 USD as a down payment. Come with the car to Virginia, if it checks out then I pay you 27.5BTC and the original $1,000take ownership of vehicle for a total sale of $19,150. If it doesn't check out then you keep the $1,000 for your troubles.

In short I am offering $19,150 split between BTC and cash, mostly BTC.

PM me

I replied to you. Give me a call and we'll talk further.

Can I see a pic with the top on please?

When the weather clears up outside I'll take some. I just now realized that I really don't have any with the top up. Whenever I drive it I tend to drive with the top down, it gives you an unobstructed view from the rear view, plus it's much more enjoyable.

being a honda fan ( my last 5 cars were and are honda)  I definitely would be in for the S.
Bad news for me you are in USA.
Great car BTW

The one nice thing about owning a Honda is that there is a ton of information out there about them. It's easy to diagnose and fix any problems you come across just by simply searching Google.

Yeah, I'm really surprised no one has reacted to this offer yet. We must be in a virtual depression.
18  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2002 Honda S2000 (Convertible, Turbo, FAST) on: May 25, 2014, 06:34:39 AM
That's like a awesome car, the hood looks really cool and your selling pretty cheap I guess with all that's on the car.
To bad its in the Usa or I would definitely be saving for this car !
Can you take 3 people with you in that car?

It's a 2-seater convertible. Although if you do have the top down, you can have 2 pretty ladies sit on the trunk with their legs coming into the cabin. I do not advise of high speeds while doing this.
19  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2002 Honda S2000 (Convertible, Turbo, FAST) on: May 24, 2014, 08:28:46 PM
I like the car! Following the thread to keep up with its progression, Smiley. I'm actually in the market for a car right now (and have been)...

I'll be honest, though... the being loud part is a bit of a turn-off for me. Noise pollution violations aren't fun, :p.

It's not exactly "loud", it's hard to explain. If you are driving conservative it's quiet, I meant loud as in if you are wide open throttle.

I have a Canon Rebel SL1 and I kind of wish I just bought a T3. I highly recommend you purchase a Canon Rebel T3, especially for the price. The SL1 and the T3 are somewhat identical, except the housing is smaller on the SL1. I bought the SL1 because I thought it was the latest rebel at the time, but come to find out the T5x or whatever was out.

Good luck and I hope you have success. I'll throw you some change when it comes around!

really? i dont like the T3 i much rather have the the SL1! unless you are referring to the t3i than i rather have that lol!

Yes, I meant the T3i, oops.
