1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minglechain -- location-based networking app for the Blockchain industry on: June 11, 2019, 08:53:26 AM
Your system for descriptions is very much like a social network. How are you going to win the market from already existing very well-known competitors?

I thought the main difference will be that it's specific on blockchain sector while other social networking apps come on a wider and more general scope.

I'd like to see the MVP, as dev state that they're compatible with android and iOS.

And what is the advantage of using blockchina for your system. I see a minus - multiple copying of the same information that loads the media. It is necessary to share the valuable information that needs to be duplicated in order not to lose, and the one that is not to be lost, which takes more than 70 percent.

That's actually a point that I also wanted to ask once dev attending their thread. Because in my opinion, their "advantage" is actually a disadvantage as people will still rely on a more known and well established networking like LinkedIn or even facebook. Which turn their advantage rather backfire as they're now limited to work only on blockchain sector rather than wider scope

You see it more and more that sites and apps are pointed to a niche market.
This is for a reason, the big LinkedIn / Facebook do not offer what the market is search for. There is too much noice, no clear direction.

The current mvp is limited in features and possibilities, but in the near future there will be added companies and events.
So imagine, you go to an event, you mark that you go there. Before the event, you can already connect to all people who fit your interests and make appointments when you are there.
At the event, you don't need to talk to everybody, just pick from the app the investor you need.
Can you do this with Facebook or LinkedIn?

Other case, you need blockchain software developed, search on LinkedIn gives a lot of noice and unclear results.
Inside of Minglechain you will get only people who are interested in blockchain.
Filter it by developer and in your area and you find the right person in no time.

Or search for an investor.. In LinkedIn you find a lot, but which is really into blockchain investment?
Exactly, the one who is on Minglechain.
