1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tax authority wants all crypto traders data on exchanges on: November 21, 2020, 03:51:21 PM
This isn't surprising because from scratch that's what centralized exchanges or platform are all about, they can easily be put to trails or controlled or even manipulated, if you are surprised by this then you are just using exchanges without understanding what they are all about, DEX will surely have a solid community love in near future, Centralized platforms should be ready to lose their customers because of this
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 21, 2020, 03:48:09 PM
There are many speculations on the internet about crypto mooning to 2021 and probably hitting 100k but nothing is certain in this space, even if Bitcoin reach that high there will always be more opportunities to make profits in crypto space, holding and not taking profits is like a punishment to me, I've done this in the past and it never favours me, not until I break the chain na start using my head.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: November 20, 2020, 01:43:49 PM
It's better to focus on identifying the good projects among the bad projects today, I believe it's possible with deep research and analysis, there is always a first time for everything, even if you end up choosing scam project you should learn from it, this is the way to get stronger and understand more about crypto projects and scam projects
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: November 20, 2020, 01:42:14 PM
It's impossible for bounty scam to exit this space, if crypto keeps surviving for many years to come scam projects will still remains in the space because there are still many people investing on scam projects since they have no experience and they want to make quick money
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: November 19, 2020, 02:48:23 PM
I don't think so or leave all the activities on this forum including hunting for free tokens from bounty projects or Airdrops. Bounties are the most attractive marketing tool for promoting new projects, people are into bounties because they are easier than developing applications and finding bugs in projects security system, bounties all the way, better and Airdrops too.
Yes bounties are pretty effective and many projects that introduced bounty campaigns this year gives bounty hunters good rewards, I have nothing against bounties not until none is paying anymore, even few airdrop campaigns are still worth it
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: November 19, 2020, 02:46:53 PM
The biggest money making slot in crypto space is to be

1. a developer
2. build crypto wallets for new projects
3. find bugs in the system of many new projects

yes some paid for security breaching and all that stuff, rendering professional services is the best way to make money in crypto space now
Till today I can't build wallet or any software myself, I don't even know where to start, finding bugs in projects system is even another level of expertise, all these aren't for people like me so we prefer promoting new projects instead
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES on: November 18, 2020, 12:43:25 PM
Scam projects can't be totally avoided even if you know how to do good research but bounty hunters should stop joining bounties for stupid reasons like quantities of tokens or promised listing on top exchanges, it's better to do deep research first and make sure the teams are more in for the project
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES on: November 18, 2020, 12:41:32 PM
Bounty campaigns always follow market developments, so the timing of participation needs to be appropriate. This year I see bounty earnings quite stable, much more so than 2018 and 2019. It looks like a positive sign for future bounty projects.
There are still many scam bounties this year, I don't see the difference between 2020 bounty projects to that of 2019, last year there are many successful bounty projects too, those who are complaining are those who missed out of the promising bounty projects
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 09:21:34 AM
I don't believe that Bitcoin will seize to exists some day, I believe bitcoin will be very useful in the future and what makes crypto a better place to be for profits is it's volatility, you could only complain if you don't know when to get in and when to get out
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 09:20:03 AM
No matter how much real estate falls, even if you can buy a mansion in California for at least 1 BTC, you are missing one important point.
Own a house-it is forever, along with the plot (land) and everything that grows on it.
You can say as much as you want that you don't need to invest in anything other than BTC, but the problem is that - let's admit it to each other and to ourselves - cryptocurrencies are not eternal (in the form in which they are now). And your own home will always be the most valuable thing you can buy in life.
If you try, you will be able to live in principle without money (but first you have to invest) if have your own house and land). BTC - only store/spend/trade.
And again, for fans of "doomsday" and its consequences-the house is also a great shelter (even if you dig a bunker, no one will tell you a word), as well as a great place for defense and storage of supplies.

A house is the best purchase in your life, and you can hardly argue with this in any way.
I accept the land part but not the home, I'm a owner myself and I spend more on the home every year because the fact is as time goes by the buildings lose taste, they get older too, you need to keep reshaping the up to look better and also maintaining the home, owning lands is just better IMO
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: November 14, 2020, 04:29:59 PM
I partially trust projects from newbies but my end judgment comes from the power of my research skills, not a new projects from newbies are bad it's just that there are more bad eggs among the good eggs, you need to do research and choose the good eggs is all, get to work and stop thinking that all projects from newbies are scam
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 14, 2020, 04:23:39 PM
Too many new projects end up not fulfilling their aims that's why its smarter to take profits when you see any, most new projects have no guarantees, after few months or years they start fading and stop following their roadmaps, if you want to hold altcoins go after top altcoins only
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 14, 2020, 04:18:58 PM
1. Before promoting any bounty try to accept the fact that not all bounties will keep their promises.
2. Your research skills will bring you closer to new promising project, so don't choose bounties randomly or because of their allocations
3. It's better and safer to find bounties from high reputable bounty managers, they mostly keep their promises
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 02:22:05 PM
YOUC is one project that suffered a major dumped in the market, some blame it on bounty hunters because the dumped happens on the time that they are distributing their bounty rewards.

$0.262419 -98.4% Sep 15, 2020 (about 2 months) it dropped $0.00071726 493.9% Nov 07, 2020 (6 days)

Now it past recovering as of this writing  $0.00423788 61.5%

I'm glad I'm still holding my YOUC and even bought more, YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential

What do you think will it recover and even go to the moon?

Here is the thread of YOUC dumping discussion.
I guess bounty hunters really kill projects
Some people are always in a hurry and that has been proven earlier when hunters started screaming about dump which unfortunately they were themselve responsible for. I also participated in 1 round of youc campaign but im calm and would give time to youengine and their team to come up with all their products and full functional ecosystem only them i will decide to take some profit or not.
Regarding price i think it is too early to get excited as you stated that 26 cents was the highest price but it is not even 1 cent at the moment. I would be happy if in coming weeks it atleast recovers to somewhere near the IEO price.
I'm happy for you that you still holding your token, it's still a long journey to full recovery, it's better to opt out when you meet certain target, don't wait for full recovery as it might never come, remember you work for this token, you never invested any penny, bounty hunters sell off and are comfortable with what they earned.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 13, 2020, 02:19:35 PM
Don't understands projects with anonymous teams, not all of them are crap projects, some have very good use case and they are among the top best altcoins on coinmarketcap, all you should do is do your own research first before judging, you might miss out on a wonderful project
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Indian exchange CoinDCX announced ETH staking on: November 12, 2020, 02:24:05 PM
Can't be trusted, I tried finding reviews about this CoinDCX exchange and I don't find anything, it seems that it's a fresh exchange, how come I've never heard about this exchange before? And how come there is no ANN page on this forum either? Be cautious about this exchange people, I smell scam
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 12, 2020, 02:21:14 PM
The reason why bitcoin keeps surging right now is because it has become more clearer that Bitcoin can be trusted, the pandemic period makes this happened and I guess that's why Paypal had a change of heart too cos they have ridiculed bitcoin in the past, I doubt Bitcoin will go down from now on
18  Other / Meta / Re: Image issue with bitcointalk and imgur. on: November 12, 2020, 02:19:03 PM
I was in same shoes as OP in the past until I noticed that imgur app works better for me, I only have issues when using the web page, and also make sure that the link you copied starts with the i. and ends with either .jpg or .png, give the app a try cos the image always displays without error code when I post it on Bitcointalk forum
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 09:21:53 AM
New projects can still delivers but be careful because not many will be like ChainLink, not many will be like Tezos or Aavax, many will still end up disappointing investors, don't put your eggs in one basket and also invest only what you can afford to lose, crypto can be very unpredictable at times.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 10, 2020, 11:27:31 AM
I hope newbies will have the patience to always do research and learn more about any project before investing on them, the biggest mistake one can make is investing lots of money on weak project or scam projects, always use diversity too and this will create high chances to success
