I will certainly give it a go. I dont want to get rid of my rig, I loves him so much EDIT.... Primecoin is CPU Mining I think, Si I can still sell my rig for asics and mine primecoin at the same time! Considering the guy you're replying to is named "primeGPU", and mentions their mining software, I'd think it's pretty safe to say that they have a way of mining Primecoin with GPUs.

anybody mining scrypt??
and do you hold coins these days or convert them to btc?
I have 1440kh/s on multi.pandapool.com. It autoconverts everything it mines in to doge. For the time being, I'm holding most of the doge that I'm getting paid out, until I see what the recent halvening does to the price.

I run a 145 in my rig (3x 270xs & SMOS), and it's been great. At the moment, my load average is 0.01, and the CPU is 91.4% idle.

I think the alts are actually a pretty good thing for bitcoin. Many people who mine alts do so through multipools. Many of these multipools autoexchange the altcoins that they purchase for bitcoins - so by these people mining altcoins, they're actually creating demand for bitcoins on the exchanges.

I currently lease my GPU rigs to scrypt miners, but have been considering Scrypt-N because of the competing ASIC rigs expected this year.
Its interesting that in recent days, scrypt-N coins have been dominating the Coinwarz profitability chart, when I enter Scrypt-N hashing rate that corresponds to what has been reported for my type of GPU cards.
Are you making sure to halve the kh/s that you see on normal Scrypt? When I go to Coinwarz and put in my scrypt and scrypt-n rates, I'm seeing 7 scrypt coins at the top.

With $700, you could probably put together a rig that would get you close to 1mh/s, but even with free electricity it's going to take you forever to make that money back.
In late February, I put together a 1.5mh/s rig for about $1100. For the first few days, I was making about $10/day, but that very quickly dropped and it's more like $4/day now. I'm still nowhere close to having even half of that $1100 paid off. If you were to use $700 and put together a rig with say, 2x 270xs you would be at about 960mh/s - but, it would take you about 233 days to make that money back - and that's not factoring in any wear and tear on the equipment, and is assuming the prices aren't going to drop any further.

Unable to login: Account is locked. Please contact site support. WTF? how I can contact it?
I took a look around and didn't see an admin email address or anything. If you're logged in and click the 'support' link, you're redirected to the dogehousepool channel on freenode via a webchat page. Perhaps someone there knows how to get a hold of someone who can help you: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=%23dogehousepool&uio=d4

Oooh - thanks! I have had the exact problem that you describe, and have lost several days worth of mining when I tried to reboot from my office only to have the machine hang. I figured it was just me since my rig is held together with zip ties - nice to hear I'm not the only one having that problem.
Thanks again!

pretty basic stuff to see the traffic of all of your neighbores at your datacenter? i am probably doing something wrong, but i cant sniff anything from my datacenters. do i have to name the hosters to prove i cant sniff no one around me?
Most datacenters have their customers on separate VLANs, which would prevent this.

Hi,which coin is better profit for mining?
This changes all the time. You can check out coinwarz.com, but keep in mind you'll need an account at an exchange that supports whatever coin you're mining, and some of the smaller ones are *very* volatile.
