1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Organizer on BitcoinTalk on: May 21, 2024, 04:18:20 PM
I am expecting to work with older accounts, as there are way to many scammers around Smiley

You are a newbie also: Does your plan have anything unique and useful or is it just another typical spam social media effort?
2  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] The Original 'Buy Bitcoin' Sign on: April 18, 2024, 07:35:50 PM
Yes Congrats!, but...
"A run of 21 replica editions was created in 2019. They have all sold out for an average realized price of 0.8 BTC. The works have been widely collected among the Bitcoin community..."

How is it known for certain this is the original? Thank you.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which narrative does a project have to adopt to gain your attention now? on: March 18, 2024, 09:26:59 PM
I am willing to find and interested in projects which do not seek to jump on the "trending narratives."

Trending narratives by definition says you are hoping on the hot topics and "following the ass-end" of the crowd/heard. Where are the bold people who actually want to try new things and jump ahead of the crowd? Many people claim to want that, but they often do not act that way when given a chance. Have others noticed this reality in the BTC community, and many other places?

Three of the trending narratives in crypto atm are Gaming, AI and DePIN. All have gained massive popularity over the past year or so. I don't have precise stats to prove, but I'd say gaming still remains the biggest, with AI coming in close second.

So far we are yet to see much money flowing into DePIN. But there has certainly been a fair bit of interest in it. I'm curious about which you would opt for if you had to pick between a project in one of each of the three narratives above.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin become extinct? on: February 05, 2024, 10:28:16 PM
The ruling class would need to shut down the internet, otherwise Bitcoin will be around for a very long time. Oh wait, there is at least one old thread where early members discuss "bouncing signals off of satellites" to keep the BTC network alive, even if the internet is destroyed, so we still have hope even then.

"93 Percent of all Bitcoin Has Been Mined"
At some point, probably the next bull market (when BTC is over $100,000), mainstream, wealthy people will go nuts over the idea of owning a "single whole Bitcoin" before it is too late. At that point the fun and near insanity will rapidly intensify.

An impressive deal to raise that much money. Hey, cows give off a serious amount of methane gas, does this potentially give a whole new meaning to Shitcoins?

Turn Trash Into BTC
I am still stuck trying to figure out how to do trash into BTC using altcoins.   Cheesy
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andrew Yang, a Pro-Bitcoin US Presidential Candidate on: February 12, 2020, 01:31:10 PM
I saw Andrew in two of the debates, he spoke well but didn't seem to have the natural ability of connecting well with people.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving. on: January 28, 2020, 12:39:49 AM
Bitcoin has now gone over 2 years since the all-time high, so I expect this year will be exceptionally exciting for the community. Let's enjoy the ride. Smiley
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to open an online Bitcoin Casino on: January 26, 2020, 06:53:20 PM
You need license anyway. Nobody will trust you without it

he can run a casino without license but no credibility. just look at the gambling section. there are several casinos, dice sites or betting platforms that have no license yet. not even the curacao gaming license. and yet they are operating. only those gamblers that want to risk will play on that site. or they will try playing, but they will deposit small amount of money. and that is understandable for a substandard casino.
so i dont think the OP can attract traffic before acquiring his license. that only shows that he has no sufficient funds to hold this kind of business.

Remember, he said it is not a full casino, but some game where people compete to win money.

I was just wondering which country would allow a Bitcoin gambling casino without a license.
The wild west days are over, or are they?

How about saying sorry for trying to scam as well?

I will send you a PM about that to understand my side of the story. Just wait. I'll tell the truth.

Why hide in a PM now, you started the thread and you are already going private?
