Hey all. New to the Bitcoin economy despite having researched the currency since last year.

I'm a huge believer in sound money and I do see Bitcoin as Max Keiser said, "The currency of the resistance." I'm currently a student about to get my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Criminology and I am an investor and work at a precious metals brokerage firm. I've just started pooled mining with BTC Guild and using GUIMiner (with so-so results) but as the difficulty has increased I personally find mining less profitable vs. trading.
