WHAT IS HYPE TOKEN? (ANN THREAD)
We have created a rewards program whereby those who have burned and frozen certain amounts of HYPE tokens can claim a set of super rare NFT badges.
What are NFT badges?
NFT stands for Non-fungible Tokens which are commonly created under the ERC-721 token standard. Many blockchain projects, particularly games (e.g. Cryptokitties) use this standard to publish cards, badges, tickets, and game items on the blockchain.
Why NFT badges as rewards?
We wanted to reward HYPE community members with something which is symbolic and useful at the same time. NFT badges we have created are a unique set of LEVEL-based badges which have unique designs for each individual badges.

What types of badges are available?
There is a total of 8 levels you can reach with the rewards program.
LEVEL 1 (HYPE Beginner) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 100 HYPE burned & 10 days since first joined & 1,000+ frozen HYPE
LEVEL 2 (HYPE Beginner II) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 1,000 HYPE burned & 15 days since first joined & 5,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 3 (HYPER) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 2,500 HYPE burned & 20 days since first joined & 10,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 4 (HYPER II) (Limited to 20 badges)
Requirements: 5,000 HYPE burned & 30 days since first joined & 15,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 5 (HYPER III) (Limited to 10 badges)
Requirements: 25,000 HYPE burned & 35 days since first joined & 50,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 6 (HYPE PRO)(Limited to 10 badges)
Requirements: 50,000 HYPE burned & 40 days since joined & 100,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 7 (HYPE PRO II)(Limited to 10 badges)
Requirements: 100,000 HYPE burned & 50 days since joined & 500,000+ active frozen HYPE
LEVEL 8 (HYPE BEAST)(Limited to 10 badges)
Requirements: 250,000 HYPE burned & 60 days since joined & 1,000,000+ active frozen HYPE

Why are they so limited? What happens once they have all been claimed?
These will be the first edition of the NFT badge rewards. It will be the only batch which has a limited supply & a rarity score of 5/5 stars. Once they have all been claimed by users, the second edition will be launched which will have different requirements, more supply and a lower rarity score. It is recommended that you collect the first edition badges as soon as possible.
What can I do with these badges?
These NFT badges can be collected and traded on OpenSea.io (a marketplace for NFT cards/badges/tickets/artworks, etc.). We will also be integrating these badges into our future blockchain-based games & these badges will serve to help you boost your abilities within the games. There will also be partnerships with other NFT-based games for you to forge these badges with other badges/cards to create new items or upgrade your existing ones within the games.
How much are these badges traded for?
There’s no intrinsic value for these badges as of yet. It is up to the users who trade them on marketplaces such as OpenSea.io, who will be marking a value on these badges. Usually, the more rare and limited NFT cards/badges are, the more trading value it holds. However, it is best advised that you collect and keep these badges as we have many new exciting partnerships and games to be launched where you can use these badges as an advantage.
How were the badges designed?
We have used an artificial intelligence to design each and every badge to have its own unique digital artwork stamped on them. Each badge is unique in its own and it should be treated as a computer-generated artwork (to be more specific, we used mathematical equations to generate them: “computational artwork based on histograms of iterated chaotic functions”).

How do I claim my badge?
First, make sure you meet the level’s requirements. For example, to claim a LEVEL 1 badge, you need to have burned at least 100 HYPE from your address + have over 1,000 actively frozen HYPE tokens + your first HYPE transaction should be more than 10 days old.
