1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchanges Nowadays on: June 04, 2024, 05:56:44 AM
The taxation is on the high side though. If it is an indirect way to discourage Indians from using crypto currency, then I think it is not a good one because they would end up frustrating the exchange which already they have started doing and from what you have said, Indians no more use  exchange for trading and I believe it is as a result of the taxation levied on them.

This action by the government would discourage local exchange from growing and also the people would seek for another alternative means of doing Crypto transactions and the government would entirely lose out from the tax they receive.

If that situation happens then their local exchange will not survive. and the result is that they will go bankrupt if no members trade or use their services.
If taxes are deemed too high, why can't negotiations be carried out between the government and business players in the industry? I think if we talk about it, they will find a middle ground that is beneficial for both parties.
however, people will be comfortable using local exchange platforms with instant withdrawals to their bank accounts. but if there is a problem of high taxes, they will use large exchange platforms like Binance for trading. Meanwhile, for withdrawals to bank accounts, many people may choose to use P2P.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't forget to HODL your BTC on: June 03, 2024, 03:24:58 PM
Sometimes I sell bitcoins because of a sudden need. for those who hold it as an asset, I am very sure they will not sell bitcoin even if the market is declining because they understand that whales play the market and those who hold bitcoin are not easily affected by such situations.

Your situation may be difficult, but as much as possible, don't give up your Bitcoin. You have tried to hold the Bitcoin you own. but in difficult situations, it cannot be avoided.
we have all seen how Bitcoin has experienced a good increase in several periods. and selling it might make us regret it in the future. so as much as possible we have to hold onto the Bitcoins we have and increase them.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 03, 2024, 12:13:18 PM
Real Madrid as a good background and that is why even if any player should leave they still have a way of maintaining balance. Because even when Ronaldo left things were still intact. And mbappe coming is good and everyone is excited to see what exactly mbappe will bring to the table and for a very long time now mbappe have wanted to come to Madrid not because of anything but because he also wants to win the champions league. Even if mbappe is good coming to a new club might make things a little different. It will take a little time to adjust to the pattern of Madrid play. And if manpower should pick up then their is no stopping Real Madrid because he as speed and a good ball shoot so the combo is a rear one so he just needs to put more effort in his performance. Their players that are better than mabappe in Manchester even foden is a better player than mbappehe finishes well. You can not just conclude that after Messi and Ronaldo that mbappe is third nah I don’t go with that, haaland  , vinicius junior. so you see that mbappe is still coming up.

The adjustment won't be difficult for Mbappe in Madrid. His new team consists of good players who understand how to work as a team. Madrid has shown how strong they are in Europe. having star players on the team is not difficult for them.
Mbappe now sees how he has to be more serious in Madrid. He is indeed a good player but he still has to compete with others. It's not just a matter of winning the Champions League, the real challenge will come next season. Hopefully, he can be a goal machine for Madrid.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get your Dad (or Mom) to buy Bitcoin? on: June 02, 2024, 03:38:43 PM
It isn’t as deep as you make it seem. To cut the long story short, what I suggested is very simple and straightforward. It’s not scam because you’ll end up telling them this is what you did with it. I’m not sure your kind of parents but it depends on the relationship you have with your parent. For me, I don’t see a big deal in it as you put it.
If you use the money for something good then I also don’t think it’s that bad of an idea especially if you do give them their money back once you make profit. But it’s still a risky move because you can easily lose the money you have asked from your parents. As long as the money they gave did not cause them to become short in money then yeah probably it’s not that big of a deal.

The most important thing is that the money you get will not disrupt your family's finances. that's enough. If what happens is that the child asks for money, then you can be sure that the money is the child's right. but if what is meant is borrowing, of course, there is the thought of returning it.
but it will be a surprise for the parents when one day in the future their child manages to give money with the profits from investing in Bitcoin, the capital of which was actually given by the parents in an unknown way.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What motivated you to join the forum? on: June 02, 2024, 12:48:55 PM
well.will I say,our reasons are kind of synonymous! because this was the exact thing I was told while joining this forum ,but on the long run I now started realizing that I was actually making a very big mistake by focusing on airdrop and bounty alone. Though after which i understood that I stand to benefit more other than focusing only on android and bounty which I think have short time benefit

I didn't know you were already focused on bounties and airdrops. while your account has just been created and there is no history of you joining the bounty.
I don't know how you do it. but if you already realize how best you can do in the forum then that's better. There is a lot of information that can actually expand our knowledge in the forum.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: June 01, 2024, 03:54:36 PM
Trading is indeed a fairly easy job to earn money and anyone can do it wherever we are. Therefore, in the future we are also very confident that the development of digital currencies will become more widespread so that Cryptocurrencies will become more widely used and more people will trade.
Indeed, anyone can do it, but not everyone is able to provide optimal results from trading. It looks very easy to make a profit or money quickly but it is difficult to do. It takes quite a long time for us to become reliable traders and the sacrifice is quite bitter and not trivial, time and lost quite a lot of money in the market during the process of learning. This job is not for everyone, but only a handful of people dare to do it because it is full of risks.

The sacrifice of money used is the basis for every novice trader to think wisely about whether they will trade or not.
because you need sufficient capital to learn trading, that means trading is not for those who immediately want to make money from trading.
Many beginners are hypnotized into trading when they see meme coin trading. It looks very easy to do but actually, they don't know the risks are also very big.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your parents invest in bitcoin ? on: May 28, 2024, 02:38:02 PM
You are correct, not every parent can invest in bitcoin because bitcoin has not yet begun to function, and it will be very difficult to persuade them to invest because they will say it is a fraud, and they will most likely not have time to research it to determine whether it is real or not. Since the introduction of bitcoin, our parents have been in business, which has allowed us to grow and learn. now have a good understanding of bitcoin and plan to invest.

I don't think some of our parents will benefit from bitcoin because they are already getting old, and whatever you didn't start when you were young will be very tough for you to do when you are older. won't have time to run it. You can't get the patient to run it because you'll see it as a waste of time, and everyone knows that bitcoin is not an easy thing to profit from because you have to leave for a long time, and some of our parents will disagree because they prefer daily income, which is why they engage in businesses that generate daily income. So I assume he won't be so easily to confuse parents to invest in bitcoin.

most parents are like that. I also had difficulty convincing my parents about Bitcoin. and they still believe in Gold more than Bitcoin which they know nothing about.
but I managed to convince them to borrow some money from my parents to invest in Bitcoin. that's because they wanted to give me capital for the business but I convinced them to buy them Bitcoin.
and now, I have returned the capital that my parents gave me. It's nice that at least I opened my parents' minds regarding the opportunities that exist in Bitcoin.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, will it come next months? on: May 28, 2024, 03:33:43 AM
A good point which is missing by many with they are expecting good run in bitcoin can bring better results in crypto as well which is not easy because many times are having huge decline in crypto while we are having good movement in Bitcoin with things can take any direction while its never follow this all.
Currently as situation is going we can expect any side movement with most chances things can go positive which could be good and having good chance of going for long time specially if we are going to have $4000 in Ether then surely we will have good rise in crypto which will go for the long time.

The main thing is maybe we can see Bitcoin is quite strong with its position first. because Bitcoin movements will greatly influence the potential for altcoin market growth.
If Bitcoin is not strong enough and stable after the pump or briefly experiences a correction it will be very difficult to see the altcoin making a lasting increase. the price will be very quickly affected by the movement of Bitcoin.

some altcoins can create their trends. but not to form an altcoin season.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: May 27, 2024, 06:52:25 AM
We cannot predict with certainty where and when the price will fall, so it is important that we set a target to take profit. In my opinion, we don't have to get big profits, we just adjust it to our capital (we have to be realistic in this matter), the important thing is that we can be consistent in taking those profits. When we can be consistent, even though our profits are small, we can continue to get them and it will be a large amount too.
Everyone must have had unpleasant experiences when investing or trading, and from that experience we can learn to become a better person and as much as possible avoid the same mistakes in the future.

that's what is important for traders to have. they have to think rationally, especially when determining profit targets so that they won't get caught in situations that could make them more greedy.
some traders make several achievable targets, when target 1 is exceeded and there is a large enough chance of approaching the second target, they will seriously monitor market capabilities. if they feel unable they will give up and take advantage of the first target.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: May 25, 2024, 02:49:17 PM
Sometimes trading is not what you think it is, it is a game of understanding and it never something you will not be able to accommodate if you understand the real Step to take and it will be the best thing for you to do and what is good for you, sometimes trading is not just what you think it is, it a game of understanding and having a full knowledge on what you do about trading and the decisions you should take on it, trading is a real skill that will profit you and you should know how to work on it and control your emotions.

not all trades will be profitable. There are times when you will be wrong in making predictions and that's when you feel a loss.
trading and gambling can be equated only when you trade but don't have anything to start with. you are trading just guessing and that is why some beginners in trading may feel that trading is the same as gambling.
they don't know much about trading, so all they know is luck in guessing the direction of price movements.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: May 24, 2024, 12:49:33 PM
Not sure if I can handle accepting all my wages in bitcoin because I need funds for our daily expenses that I only take from my dayjob(my investments are all in crypto and not to be spent for some time)

Maybe I need to have settlement at least half of my wage is for USDT and half is for Fiat because that USDT will be ready for my investment each time.

So what's really difficult about getting USDT or Bitcoin to pay for all your work? If you want to convert directly to fiat, I don't think it's difficult to do at the moment. except transaction fees which sometimes increase.
If you need it for daily needs, everything can be done with your cellphone. and it's all pretty easy nowadays.
I am waiting for all companies to pay their employees with Bitcoin or other crypto assets.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to the forum on: May 24, 2024, 11:30:13 AM
In fact, if you browse several threads on this board there will be many similar questions and there are many answers that you can read.
you can go to the META board and read some of the pinned threads. The key is to search a lot and read the information you need.

or if you have a local board here, with your local language it might be easier for you to find the information you need. I'm sure there is also important information being reposted on local boards to help their local members.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you trade in uncertain times? on: May 23, 2024, 12:16:21 PM
It is very important that traders means their risk management and how how to mean it work for them so that they don't end up crashing their trading accounts. In this time when the market is uncertain, we need to be very conscious of how many trades we are taking per day so that so we don't risk too much to make nothing. The market is volatile and we'll have to know how we enter trades so that we don't have to keep taking trades when anything can happen in the market that could make us lose trades.

Uncertain market movements are very difficult for the analysis process in trading. even to determine the time to enter the trade, because the situation will be more likely to not go according to our plan.
in a bad market situation, I would be better off not trading. but if you really want to trade it is better to choose the most appropriate asset. especially altcoins or even memecoins which have very fast price changes.
Don't increase the risk with high multiplication.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo, bitcoin is now over 70K on: March 18, 2024, 03:46:17 PM
If I ever do receive a huge sum of crypto again i’m definitely getting a secure wallet and not using anything stupid. And not using exodus either to store em.

why not have a more decent wallet to store your assets first? even though you might think you don't have enough assets to keep in your wallet. but you have to think about how you store the assets you own safely.
If you have enough experience in this matter, I think you can consider how important it is to have a personal wallet if you have crypto assets. Don't put it on an exchange or in a casino.

he doesn't seem to just want to learn and find out information from forums. looking at the username and several posts made, it is related to a project that he most likely wants to promote on this forum to get more interest.
I have confidence that he is not new to crypto forums. This might be more about promotional efforts for the project he is bringing. I don't know if he will return to this thread to continue the topic or will just focus on the topic he created.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin becoming Legal tender on: March 17, 2024, 05:01:15 PM
Making Bitcoin a legal tender sounds like a bold move but it's a long shot given the resistance from big players like financial institutions and central banks. The idea clashes with the concept of decentralization which Bitcoin champions. If governments lose control over currency, it shakes up the power dynamics, possibly threatening the status quo

as an alternative I think is possible, not as a replacement for fiat which has been used by humans for a very long time as a transaction tool.
the exchange rate remains in the applicable fiat currency. and the government can impose regulations regarding what transactions are permitted using Bitcoin. but still, it will ultimately harm the principles brought by Bitcoin when the government ends up becoming a third-party provider in the use of Bitcoin as an alternative legal means of payment.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I’m new :) Welcome Me on: March 17, 2024, 03:25:09 PM
Hey Bitcointalk fam! Smiley So, I've been aware of this community for like 4 years now, just kind of hanging around the edges. But I've finally decided to jump right in and be a part of the action! As a newbie, I'm super excited to soak up all the knowledge you guys have been sharing and maybe even throw in a few of my own ideas about Bitcoin. Let's learn and grow together.

I am really enthusiastic about this. On what boards would I learn the most about Bitcoin? Smiley

you roamed the forums for 4 years, what did you get from the forums? what are you really looking for? of course with a long time you have read at least the most common parts in the forum.
If you have been on the forum for a long time, even if you don't participate in the discussions, if you are interested, at least you will read the information. If you just create an account and don't do anything, even just read the information, then it's the same as empty.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, what's the best Bitcoin wallet for PC these days? on: November 29, 2023, 05:19:33 PM
Most people now are using Centralized exchange to receive pay and trade.
Anyone using a custodial wallet to store their funds doesn't understand BTC and how it should be used, not to talk of the risks in using a custodial wallet to store funds, i guess people do not just learn.

Many people know about it but you can’t convince all. Some people are use to been negligence of their funds, while some see it as a bearable risk to be taken, it is definitely a risk not to be taken. It doesn’t spell well about a bitcoin professional, or someone claiming to know well about bitcoin. Prevention is always and will always be better than cure.

those who still hold Bitcoin and other assets on exchanges are beginners. or maybe there is a need for trading in a short time. I'm sure to this day there are still traders who do it. but those who are experienced will of course withdraw their assets to their personal wallet after completing their needs on the exchange.

now I use Electrum on my PC. It is quite light and very easy to operate. I have tried several wallets but I think Electrum is the most suitable for me.
but I'm sure some people still use wallets such as Trust Wallet or Safepal which have a relationship with an exchange.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Only Sell what you don't need. on: November 29, 2023, 04:59:29 PM
Now this is what I mean: assuming you sold your piece of landform $20k, you use $10-13k to invest in bitcoin and the remaining $7k to buy another land somewhere at a cheap rate. Surely, with years the value of that land will always appreciate so you still have a land (only that it's at a different location) while you invest in bitcoin stead of using (risking) all the money at ones.

This is like splitting one investment asset into two or more assets. This method may be interesting and successful for those who do have understanding and experience in investing. and for beginners, you might be interested but it's better not to. As you mentioned, there are many risks.

The choice of selling land or property assets to invest in Bitcoin may require the right market momentum. like a market crash that caused the price of Bitcoin to experience a very deep decline. and it makes it possible to buy large amounts of Bitcoin for long-term investment.
