Hi, I don't have an immediate need, but I have made five posts and my account has been active for a few days... can I be a real member please? Smiley

Edit: I see I have only been online for 32 minutes according to my profile....

Edit edit:  The reason I want to be a real member is to post to get help with my opencl setup, I have had a 5870 for two weeks now and haven't been able to get it running, and have been watching the blocks fly past with no ability to start computing my own!!!!  clinfo won't recognize my card, only the CPU, woop.

Hi, I have a 5870 and am trying to get hashkill working in Ubuntu 10.04 (MythTV server), and I want to post in this thread: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=6819.300

So I can ask how to get over this problem I am having:
Code:
$ hashkill-gpu -p bitcoin
hashkill-gpu: /usr/lib/nvidia-current/libOpenCL.so: no version information available (required by hashkill-gpu)

[hashkill] Version 0.2.5
[hashkill] Plugin 'bitcoin' loaded successfully
[error] (ocl-threads.c:97) clGetPlatformIDs returned error (no OpenCL installed?)
[hashkill] Threads queue size: 128 plaintexts/thread

I'm pretty sure that this is because I'm trying to get this going on Ubuntu 10.04 and it's probably got an older version of the SDK, but I don't know which SDK we are talking about Smiley

Thanks!
