Dash is thrilled to work with Cryptobuyer and grow Venezuelan acceptance of #Dash into the largest stores in the country! Let’s push and keep building so that soon everyone can shop at the largest 20,000 stores all over Venezuela! #crypto #payments
https://es.cointelegraph.com/news/more-than-20-000-businesses-will-accept-cryptocurrencies-in-venezuela
Please no, not the sinking ship Venezuela. Honestly, Venezuelan is so bad that DASH won't gain much from them.

I would agree with you if it was about the government, but there it's about the people searching for alternatives and embracing Dash as a real currency, which is a big deal.

Hi !

Is there right now any working debit card with BTC / Dash ? (after Wavecrest closed their crypto VISA program)

It seems there is still nothing to it, it will likely wait a while longer to bring a new debit card.

 Undecided Okay, thanks !

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is just sad on: March 28, 2017, 05:56:54 AM

So what altcoin price increase ETH dash steem?
Choosing altcoin rather than bitcoin that is true sadness.

The true sadness is to not just increase the block size and end all that drama ... At least those alts, and I'm not only talking about Dash, are trying to offer something better : governance, fast transaction, anonymity ...
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: @RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC. on: March 28, 2017, 01:35:13 AM

well, it has always been that fresh mined coins are much more valuable.

Then Bitcoin will find it difficulty to be considered a currency.

This is not what was intended.

Wait there's a coin permitting to mix our funds to avoid that kind of nonsense ! Oh yeah Dash !  Grin

Does anybody know the date of the big v12 release of Dash?
i thought it was early July?
The key is not to rush and to test properly before going to the main net, so I prefer late but stable than on time and buggy  Cheesy. You can follow the testing phase "live" there : https://dashtalk.org/threads/v12-testing-thread.5484/

Dash recovering after a third successful retest of the 10 levels since May.

1-Day MACD has just gone positive, ending a month long correction in that chart. 1 Day RSI confirms that Dash was well into oversold territory at the month end and is now springing back.

This. I think dash is about to go on a very decent run. 0.02 again?

Looks like it. We will see.

Those are multipools, simply mining the most profitable coin at that particular moment (depends on the algo), convert it to BTC and buys DASH for you if you want to be paid out in DASH. The diffuculty only relates to X11 mining. Multipools will only help the price as it will directly buy from sell side.

Okay, got it. So i guess its GPU farms that drive the difficulty up then at certain moments for Dash...

Yeah they mine Dash directly.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 25, 2015, 03:46:35 PM
Actually, I'd prefer it if Bitcoin and pornography remained separate for now. Bitcoin still has a reputation for being associated with shady and often illegal activities such as drugs, gambling, hackers, assassinations, money laundering, ISIS, etc. Do we really need to add pornography to the list?

Of course fiat can be used to purchase porn and drugs too but fiat can also be used to pay your electricity bills or groceries at the supermarket - i.e. legitimate stuff. BTC doesn't quite have the same level of support yet. Businesses that accept BTC are still quite rare and having pornography become such a large part of the fledgling Bitcoin industry at this stage is probably going to hurt society's perception of the currency and possibly negate whatever economic benefits it may provide.

Anyway, that's just my opinion.

I like your perception, but I think the purpose of why bitcoin can be used in pornography and gambling site is almost internet users like the sites. I mean, we can buy groceries or any stuff what we need openly in market, yeah real life market surely. But for gambling and pornography, people love it and will spend their money just to get some pleasures from there. The problem for them, they don't want their family or relations know about it, [...]

Their families and relations can still know about it if the wallet/addresses they use for those activities can still be linked to their known wallet/addresses.

I thought the problem with darkcoin is the centralization of masternodes. It costs 1000DRK to run a masternode. With darkcoin at at $2.83 thats $2,830 required to run a masternode. It's currently at an even higher price than that! If it reaches $100 then that will be $100,000 to run a masternode. Impossible for almost everyone, resulting in centralised mixing services at severely reduced (or completely broken) anonymity. Anyone care to explain why I'm wrong?

Most of us anticipate that in the future some sort of trustless masternode share program will be implemented. Barring that, an even easier fix would be to lower the cost of a masternode to 100 DASH, for instance. In your scenario, that would reduce the cost of a masternode to $10,000.

Another improvement that is planned is called masternode blinding. Basically, this will prevent your masternode from seeing where the present inputs came from. Consequently, even if you did own the vast majority of all masternodes, you still wouldn't know which node a mixing transaction came from, and couldn't track it backward or forward.

thanks, i thought masternode blinding was hiding the masternode ip adress

That was the plan initially, but Evan revised:

https://dashtalk.org/threads/which-masternode-model-should-we-implement.4115/

It seems that "masternode blinding" was always about hiding the origin and the destination of the mixed funds.

Hey guys please remember not to engage with trolls and be wary of sock puppet accounts that are created to drive an agenda. They are not interested in your answers just looking to present their views disguised as questions.

We root for crypto and support every coin. Go crypto.

On the contrary, I can assure you that I am very interested in the answers.

You have your answers now so read them / watch them.

Hello Bitcoin and AltCoin community. I am asking for tips that will allow my partner and I to fund a product line for the Crypto currency community. I can not reveal the Product at this time in fear other's will take the idea for their own benefit. This product will be geared towards crypto traders in general and will serve the members of this particular community. Any amount of BTC will be helpful to create and deliver this product. thanks     12SmeLLliKEaSCAMLoOKLIkEaSCAm

So we have to give money to unknown people to fund an unknown product. Seems legit. I will send some BTC or not, I can not reveal at this time.   Lips sealed
