1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore miner in 2021 on: February 17, 2021, 03:39:35 PM
I doubt there will ever be a good miner like claymore mineral, damn I missed that top notch piece of software, you can do everything, I mean everything about settings in one single bat file, that this the best miner IMO
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid mistake on: February 17, 2021, 03:36:13 PM
A pic ? How can you made such an error ? 0_o
I wasn't in my best mood when building the rigs, I was so tired but couldn't postpone the building of the rig, here is what happened, I turned the riser upside down, very stupid of me

Look at that, very silly and stupid of me
well thats was something unexpected to see this day, bad luck happen, cant rewind the situation, try to fix the gpu by using steam solder, even most likely wont fix it

so prefent in the future this mistake wont happen again, change the motherboard use with full pcie express, minimise put wrong slot
Steam solder can't fix this type of fried gpu because this doesn't happened because of overheating, its high wattage problem so there is no way to fix the card, my advice is if warranty is still on the card OP shouldn't void that and try returning back, who knows? You can get a brand new
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more GPU miners, or just keep the cash, I don't know....... on: February 17, 2021, 03:32:08 PM
If OP can find the card at MSRP then he can proceed but if not I don't think its worth it cos if bear market start its going to take years to recover your return of investment, choose wisely
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more GPU miners, or just keep the cash, I don't know....... on: February 17, 2021, 03:30:02 PM
nothing go wrong buying new card for fair price rather than buying coin at this peak of crypto, and most likely eth mining still profitable to the next 6-12months

before gpus out of stock better to buy when had a chance, then you can go sleep well while your gpus make money for you
Six to twelve months? Don't mislead that guy mate, what makes you think that mining profitability will last that long? Don't you think that bear market can start at any time? 12 months is a complete year mate, stop fooling yourself
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is setting up to launch their own digital currency on: February 13, 2021, 11:59:55 AM
obviously all the big companies want to get on the winner's wagon, financially speaking, that are crypto, i don't know how successful this amazon initiative will be, then it will always be a centralized token, to be kept under observation anyway
Amazon is big and yes their token or coin will be easily adopted but as time goes on it won't matter anymore, it will be better if they accepts crypto coins as means of payment on their website than trying to get into blockchain, something they never have experience with before, anyway anything can happen, remember Polkadot and Avalanche are stronger today because they have blockchain experts as team members, I hope amazon team know what they are doing
6  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pissed off at ebay policy, where to sell buy good place for GPU trading? on: February 13, 2021, 11:55:28 AM
Fucking pissed at ebay, sure tons of traders to after maintaining good account standing for years, they start to abuse my accuont. I am looking at other alternatives with better rating (other than amazon), for just GPU buy/sell, I wonder what is the good place that avoids scamm as well? Redditt??
All we get from you is the abuse word, what exactly is the crime if ebay? Maybe it can safe people like myself? Who knows? And again ebay isn't the only place you can buy and sell gpus online, why not use Amazon and Newegg?
7  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for methods to earn at least 1$ hourly on: February 13, 2021, 11:52:37 AM
If you want a guaranteed way to make such amount every hour you should build a mining rig, I make 1$ per hour too and that's because of my mining rig setup, it's less risky than trading for me, also you are in total control of your coins
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Help needed to speed things up on: February 13, 2021, 11:47:53 AM
I don't want to switch to Linux or Hive OS because of internet connection so I'm looking forward to ways I can fix windows 10 slow hashrate performance, anyone has an idea? Any will help, a week ago I always get 32mh per gpu but after few updates on windows tell now I get 29 to 30mh max, I believe it's the update, gpu type is gtx1660 supers
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how many GPUs will this board support for mining ? on: February 13, 2021, 11:45:36 AM
It has six gpu slots but you can't really tell until you insert 6x GPUs in the motherboard, some MOBO will have 6x space for gpu and the MOBO will fail to recognize all the graphic cards, if that happens well you can change gen mode in bios and try risers but if none of that works you will have to accept whatever the MOBO allows on board
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Massive difference in results on: February 12, 2021, 02:38:07 PM
I'm using Windows on 3 different gaming PCs with a 3070 (PM 5.5c), 5700XT (lolminer) and 1660Super (PM 5.5c).  No issues with stability, shares...nothing.  I'd post an image of my pool results, but I'm not sure how on this site:

Active Workers (3)
Filter by Worker
                        Reported  Current  Valid  Stale Invalid
lolminer5700XT     51.1    53.3     48   0   0   13 minutes ago
rig1660             32.1         36.7     31       0   0   13 minutes ago
rig3070             61.9    65.6     55        0   0   13 minutes ago

Valid shares..48/31/55

stale and invalid look great...but 13mins not long.
Looking at the results from randey it shows that higher Hashrates solves shares faster, the RTX3070 with 61MH have 55 valid shares and it beats others with lower hashrates, makes lot of sense I believe 🤔
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT | TUSD | BUSD | USDC - What are the differences? on: February 12, 2021, 02:33:05 PM
USDT all the way, the stable coin has biggest volume and liquidity and it's also available on other blockchain platforms like Tron, USDT is way better than other stable coins,  USDC, TUSD and others that OP made mention are all centralized projects but USDT wins this marginally
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: February 12, 2021, 02:28:34 PM
for escrow matters, these are often managed by well-known managers like Hhampuz, Bounty Detective, Bubbalex etc. It is even safer if the project you are participating in uses a payment system using btc, I remember if I am not mistaken new managers like SmallRabbit First time managing Amepay projects using the btc payment system in the signature section.
Escrow isn't everything, even reputable bounty managers are been used by scam projects too, you need to be in charge of decision making so don't rely on others, so your own research very well and accepts whatever happens later, not all bounty projects from bubbalex and others become successful, that's reality
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: February 12, 2021, 02:17:45 PM
I still have some amepay tokens at hand but the gas fee isn't encouraging enough for me to send the tokens to exchange and sell, the project failed to meet my expectations and I hope some price pump would happen this month, the success of this project lies in the hand of the team, if they handle with care and hardworking it can be surprisingly good
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust wallet vs Atomic wallet staking on: February 11, 2021, 10:09:08 PM
Which crypto wallet will you use for staking coins? Atomic wallet or Trust wallet? Kindly tell me more why you choose any of these two, I use trust wallet because its from binance team but some said atomic staking ROI is better
I have never used atomic wallet to be honest and trust wallet that i use is also not my primary wallet because i think ot still need to add more features and services perhaps some of them can be copied from binance official app especially im talking about financial products that provide users a way to extract steady income from the market.
Then can you share with us which crypto wallet you use that have all the absence features from trust and atomic wallet? Anyways I've used both wallets and trust wallet have a better place in mind, as for atomic wallet the interface is a mess, not easier like trust wallet
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: VPN on mining pool on: February 11, 2021, 10:05:12 PM
There is no problem in trying but I'm sure you will end up quiting because it's not going to be a good or smooth experience, more shares will be lost too, it's better to find better internet connection or network, I don't use USB modem for connecting miners I use routers instead
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4x 1660 super or RTX3090 on: February 11, 2021, 10:02:33 PM
It makes sense to have more GPUs than a single one because of losses, the risk is limited with 4 GPUs instead of one, for example the gtx1660 super can cool at 54°C to 58°C, this will simply keep the graphic card alive for a longer time but with one gpu that can do 80 to 90°C anything can happen
I think it's easier to cool a single gpu like RTX 3090, you can also leave the fan variants and go for liquid cooling types, this will keep the high temp to minimum level and thus makes mining experience more enjoyable, less electricity power at higher Hashrates, nothing comes close to this
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: POC still have a chance? on: February 11, 2021, 09:59:48 PM
There is one new project that takes on this proof of capacity algorithm, I think the project name is MASS, it has good value and it's listed on MXC exchange, I've heard it's very profitable to mine but with HDD or SDD space, if people aren't on this project yet I believe it will worth mining, I remember when burstcoin had good hype some make good profits out of this coin

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: That extra two pin slot on 8pin GPUs on: February 10, 2021, 02:47:56 PM
Probably because output at 6-pin connector is made for 75W, and output at 8-pin conenctor is made for 150W, no matter how
wiring is done

https://www.gpuminingresources.com/p/psu-cables.html

Hmm so pcie 6pin only have a spider sense haha and the 8pin has two spider sense, thanks for sharing this mate very informative, I hope OP learn from this and don't try something stupid that can probably start a fire, let's respect how these things are built to be on safer side
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Elon talk about freewallet app on: February 10, 2021, 02:43:25 PM
I know freewallet team are on this forum, they need to see this because it's been discussed many times already, I lost some btc to freewallet and also some Doge because I was a noob at the time, I knew nothing about private keys
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Avalanche (AVAX) is better than Ethereum. The superior DeFi power rocket! on: February 10, 2021, 02:37:04 PM
Avalanche is very very fast, the team are also experts in the field just like Polkadot, I'm impressed honestly we need more projects like Avalanche and Polkadot, promising team work and professionalism can't lie, also I don't mind if avalanche will beat Ethereum or not because that's not even what I'm interested in right now, I just want a project that performs better and that's avalanche
