1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / To reach a wallet from an address on: June 05, 2020, 11:19:42 PM
Is there a way to discover a wallet information from an address?
I'm supposing to know how a person can leak our wallet information.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinPayments: how it works? on: August 24, 2019, 10:58:03 PM
Yes. BTCPayServer should be the best. The only thing is that you should be a programmer to integrate it. Or hire someone that create the integration for you.

Ok so is obvious that if I restore the wallet through seed the btc inside are restored too.
I didn't think it was automatic, that's why I asked. Grin
And yes, I see the file has no exstension!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / BTC are also restored when done through seed? on: August 16, 2019, 05:38:47 PM
Electrum create a .dat file but if I want to use my wallet elsewhere without that file, the seed is enough or btc are not restored?
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to avoid linking on: August 16, 2019, 01:37:42 PM
@OmegaStarScream thank you!

So addresses cannot be linked each, and cannot be linked to the wallet?
About Tails. I read on an article that Electrum does not send details to the server with an encrypted connection. So the ISP can record the history imo. Also standard wallets like Bitcoin core does not use by nature an encryption.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Best way to avoid linking on: August 16, 2019, 01:18:59 PM
Thanks to this community members I succesfully started my first BTC wallet.  Cheesy
Now first questions are born.  Grin
I'm using last Electrum version. I have doubts about addresses linking.
I have my btc address on my web site so my customers can pay me for services.
I want to avoid to keep tracked on my earnings.
Which is the most simple solution? To change address every day or for every transaction can be enough?
Or each wallet's address can be linked in the blockchain history data?

Also, if I use Electrum without Tor or VPN, the ISP can know every history of my wallet?
If so, the solution is to use my wallet in a Tails virtual machine where I use Electrum there?
Or there is a simpler solution.

Thanks for help  Smiley

The server and the software of this forum prune IP of users sometimes?
16  Other / Meta / Re: The forum is penalizing Tor users on: August 14, 2019, 05:40:52 PM
Thank you for the tip, I was unaware of that.
Gonna test it soon.
17  Other / Meta / Re: The forum is penalizing Tor users on: August 14, 2019, 05:33:18 PM
@Royse777 This bypass the captcha problem but let to be pleased of the same Tor privacy level?

@actmyname thanks I didn't know of the no-captcha login link! The problem is that my real IP is now recorded in the database. Only future logins are Torred!
18  Other / Meta / The forum is penalizing Tor users on: August 14, 2019, 05:28:31 PM
Tor users can't explore the forum. It is a bit incongruous cause of the nature of the forum.
The problem is recaptcha and the IP blocker.
Yes there are a lot of spammer ready to advertise shit. But users that wanna protect their privacy can't enjoy Tor here.

A suggestion can be to moderate the first 5 posts of each users, enough to understand if a new registered user is a bot or not.
If so, recaptcha can be removed allowing everyone browse the forum with Tor.
